Las Vegas (Maio 4, 2017) – Premier Boxing Champions stars Leo Santa Cruz, Abner Mares,Daniel Jacobs,Shawn Porter,Rances Bartheleme, Alfredo Angulo have confirmed that they will appear to Meet & Greet their fans at the “PBC Booth” no Las Vegas Convention Center for the 3rd edition of Fan Box Expo que terá lugar Saturday May 6, 2017 a partir de 10am to 5pm, durante o fim de semana do Cinco De Mayo. Las Vegas (Abril 26, 2017) – 2 Campeão do Mundo Marcos Maidana has confirmed that he will appear to Meet & Greet his fans at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 3rd edition of Fan Box Expo que terá lugar Saturday May 6, 2017 from 10am to 5pm, durante o fim de semana do Cinco De Mayo. Maidana is an Argentine former professional boxer who competed from 2004 para 2014. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBA (Regular) super lightweight title from 2011 para 2012, and the WBA welterweight title from 2013 para 2014. BROOKLYN (Abril 19, 2017) – Four-time world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano will look for a record-setting fifth world title when she battles former world champion Dahiana Santana for the vacant WBO Bantamweight World Championship on Sábado, Abril 22 in the featured bout of SHOWTIME BOXING on SHO EXTREME, apresentado por Premier Boxe dos Campeões, do Barclays Center, a casa de BROOKLYN BOXE ™.

Unbeaten top heavyweight contender Luis Ortiz was originally scheduled to faceDerric Rossy in an undercard attraction, but was forced to withdraw after injuring his hand in training.
The 28-year-old Serrano (31-1-1, 23 KOs) can become the first female and the first Puerto Rican fighter in history to win world titles in five weight classes. Standing in her way is the former featherweight champion Santana (35-8, 14 KOs) de Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.
“I’m really excited about this fight because this is the first time I haven’t had to call someone out, Santana has been calling me out for some time,” Disse Serrano. “I’ve been in training since my last fight, just like I always am. I’m constantly learning and trying to improve and maintain my skills. Santana is the best female boxer from the Dominican Republic and she’s won fights all over the world. No final, I think my pressure is going to be too much. I’m not planning on letting this fight go the distance.”
“I got the offer for this fight about a month and a half ago and I have been training hard ever since,” said Santana. “I’m a technical fighter, but I have different styles and I can adapt to my opponent. I know Amanda very well and I’ve seen her fight many times. I’m going to come and put on a great show and leave everything I have in the ring.”

Raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, Serrano gravitated toward boxing from watching her older sister Cindy, also a professional fighter. She picked the sport up quickly, acumulando uma 9-1 record during a brief amateur career in which she won the New York Golden Gloves title in 2008. The 28-year-old would go on to fight all over the world, seizing her first world title in 2011 when she defeated Kimberly Connor to grab a super featherweight belt. Borrego had previously trained at Freddie Roach’s gym when training in the U.S., but held training camp up in the Bronx leading up to Abril 22.
Fighting out of Escondido, Califórnia, Delperdang most recently went 12-rounds with former title challenger Hank Lundy after winning his previous four fights, incluindo três por nocaute. NOVA IORQUE (Abril 17, 2017) – SHOWTIME Sports has unveiled the network’s complete spring 2017 boxing schedule following today’s earlier announcement that the heavyweight boxing event of the year will be televised vivo no canal Showtime. The stacked lineup includes seven world championship fights across eight live boxing telecasts over an eight-week span.

 

Em Sábado, Abril 29, Anthony Joshua vai enfrentar Wladimir Klitschko in the most significant heavyweight world championship fight in more than a decade. The event will air live on SHOWTIME em 4:15 p.m. E/1:15 p.m. PT from a sold-out Wembley Stadium, where a record crowd of more than 90,000 spectators is expected.

 

Also announced today, SHOWTIME and Premier Boxing Champions will present the rematch between WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Adonis Stevenson e Andrzej Fonfara em Sábado, Junho 3. This bout is an encore of a 2014 action-packed fight in which Stevenson edged Fonfara to defend his 175-pound crown.

 

The SHOWTIME boxing lineup also includes two significant welterweight bouts with world title implications: Andre Berto vs. Shawn Porter (Abril 22) e Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence Jr. (Maio 27). Both events are presented in association with Premier Boxing Champions. O Abril 22 Berto vs. Porter event will feature an anticipated 154-pound world title fight between Jermell Charlo e Charles Hatley as well asworld champion Amanda Serrano attempting to become the first woman—and first fighter of Puerto Rican decent—to win a world title in five different weight classes.

WORCESTER, Massa. (Abril 2, 2017) – Popular Massachusetts heavyweight Vinnie “Pesadelo americano” Carita was too much for former South American champion Gilberto Matheus “El Magico” Domingos na noite passada “New England’s Future 2” main event at Worcester Palladium. Remillard pounded his opponent, Agostinho “Impiedoso” Maura (6-2-3 3 KOs), whose toughness showed throughout the contest as Remillard pounded his Lawrence (MA) opponent to the body and head en route to a eight-round unanimous decision (80-71, 79-72, 78-73) na co-metragem. Mauras was deducted a point in the fourth round for headbutting.
“I was a little rusty but I got better as the fight went on,” Remillard said. “He’s a tough kid who was slippery inside. If the fight went a little longer, I think I would have gotten him out of there.”

NOVA IORQUE (Março 25, 2017) – Jorge Linares defended his WBA Lightweight World Championship with a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Crolla Sábado evening on SHOWTIME BOXING INTERNATIONAL from Manchester, Inglaterra. The win sets Linares up for a possible unification fight with WBC Lightweight World Champion Mikey Garcia, a matchup that would be considered one of the best that can be made in any weight class.

Sábado main event from Manchester Arena aired live on SHOWTIME. Live fight coverage was provided by Sky Sports with Adam Smith calling play-by-play and world champion Carl Froch serving as ringside analyst. Garcia joined SHOWTIME Sports host Brian Custer and analysts Al Bernstein and Paul Malignaggi to provide commentary from a New York studio.

Linares and Crolla previously fought a fierce, closely contested battle last September, one that Linares won by just a few rounds. No Sábado, Linares retained the belt by a wide margin—118-109 on all three scorecards—virtually outclassing Crolla from the outset.

“He seems to be getting better with age,” said Froch, sharing a growing sentiment among boxing pundits.

Linares (42-3, 27 KO) cruised through much of the fight with an impressive display of boxing skill and power. A precisely timed uppercut floored Crolla in the seventh. Moments later Linares nearly finished him with a flurry against the ropes. Crolla, contudo, would not go quietly. The Manchester native, perhaps spurned by his home crowd, bravely grew more aggressive in the second half of the fight. But Linares was simply too sharp, too fast and too comfortable for Crolla to overcome.

Mikey Garcia is coming off a brilliant knockout of world champion Dejan Zlaticanin in January and is hungry for a unification bout.
