Las Vegas (Maig 4, 2017) – Premier Boxing Champions stars Leo Santa Creu, Abner Mars,Daniel Jacobs,Shawn Porter,Rances Barthelemi, Alfredo Angulo have confirmed that they will appear to Meet & Greet their fans at the “PBC Booth” al Las Vegas Convention Center for the 3rd edition of Box Fan Expo que tindrà lloc Saturday May 6, 2017 des 10am to 5pm, during Cinco De Mayo weekend. The Television series seeks primarily to bring renewed mainstream exposure to the sport of boxing, emphasizing a modern “concert”- like atmosphere, “high-quality” targetes, television broadcasts through major networks and cable channels as opposed to pay television and pay-per-view events, and the use of technology to provide enhanced insight to the bouts.

Maidana is an Argentine former professional boxer who competed from 2004 a 2014. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBA (Regular) super lightweight title from 2011 a 2012, and the WBA welterweight title from 2013 a 2014. An exciting and versatile pressure fighter to watch in the ring, Maidana was well known for his formidable punching power, always delivery incredible performances and was never stopped in any of his 40 baralles professionals.

BROOKLYN (Abril 19, 2017) – Four-time world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano will look for a record-setting fifth world title when she battles former world champion Dahiana Santana for the vacant WBO Bantamweight World Championship on Dissabte, Abril 22 in the featured bout of SHOWTIME BOXING on SHO EXTREME, presented by Lliga de Campions de Boxa, del Barclays Center, la casa de BROOKLYN BOXA ™.

Unbeaten top heavyweight contender Luis Ortiz was originally scheduled to faceDerric Rossy in an undercard attraction, but was forced to withdraw after injuring his hand in training.
The 28-year-old Serrano (31-1-1, 23 KOs) can become the first female and the first Puerto Rican fighter in history to win world titles in five weight classes. Standing in her way is the former featherweight champion Santana (35-8, 14 KOs) de Sant Domingo, República Dominicana.
“I’m really excited about this fight because this is the first time I haven’t had to call someone out, Santana has been calling me out for some time,” va dir Serrano. “I’ve been in training since my last fight, just like I always am. I’m constantly learning and trying to improve and maintain my skills. Santana is the best female boxer from the Dominican Republic and she’s won fights all over the world. “I got the offer for this fight about a month and a half ago and I have been training hard ever since,” said Santana. “I’m a technical fighter, but I have different styles and I can adapt to my opponent. I know Amanda very well and I’ve seen her fight many times. I’m going to come and put on a great show and leave everything I have in the ring.”

Raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, Serrano gravitated toward boxing from watching her older sister Cindy, also a professional fighter. She picked the sport up quickly, pastar una 9-1 record during a brief amateur career in which she won the New York Golden Gloves title in 2008. The 28-year-old would go on to fight all over the world, seizing her first world title in 2011 when she defeated Kimberly Connor to grab a super featherweight belt. Fighting out of Escondido, Califòrnia, Delperdang most recently went 12-rounds with former title challenger Hank Lundy after winning his previous four fights, incloent tres per nocaut. The 24-year-old defeated previously unbeaten Oscar Mejia last September and his only other defeat came via a narrow majority decision to then unbeaten Rickey Edwards. NOVA YORK (Abril 17, 2017) – SHOWTIME Sports has unveiled the network’s complete spring 2017 boxing schedule following today’s earlier announcement that the heavyweight boxing event of the year will be televised en viu per SHOWTIME. The stacked lineup includes seven world championship fights across eight live boxing telecasts over an eight-week span.

 

En Dissabte, Abril 29, Anthony Joshua s'enfrontarà a Wladimir Klitschko in the most significant heavyweight world championship fight in more than a decade. The event will air live on SHOWTIME a 4:15 p.m. I/1:15 p.m. PT from a sold-out Wembley Stadium, where a record crowd of more than 90,000 spectators is expected.

 

Also announced today, SHOWTIME and Premier Boxing Champions will present the rematch between WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Adonis Stevenson i Andrzej Fonfara a Dissabte, Juny 3. This bout is an encore of a 2014 action-packed fight in which Stevenson edged Fonfara to defend his 175-pound crown.

 

The SHOWTIME boxing lineup also includes two significant welterweight bouts with world title implications: Andre Berto vs. Shawn Porter (Abril 22) i Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence Jr. (Maig 27). Both events are presented in association with Premier Boxing Champions. La Abril 22 Berto vs. Porter event will feature an anticipated 154-pound world title fight between Jermell Charlo i Charles Hatley as well asworld champion Amanda Serrano attempting to become the first woman—and first fighter of Puerto Rican decent—to win a world title in five different weight classes.

WORCESTER, Missa. (Abril 2, 2017) – Popular Massachusetts heavyweight Vinnie “American Nightmare” Carita was too much for former South American champion Gilberto Matheus “El Magico” Domingos in last night’s “New England’s Future 2” main event at Worcester Palladium. A capacity crowd of 1,700 rocked the vintage venue from start to finish.
“New England’s Future 2” was presented by Rivera Promotions Entertainment (RPE), which is owned and operated by retired three-time, dues divisions campió del món José Antonio Rivera i el seu fill, matrimonier Anthonee (A. The feel-good story of the evening was the long awaited return of Manchester (Connecticut) lleuger Mate “Sharp Shooter” Remillard (24-1, 13 KOs), who was incarcerated five years and hadn’t fought in six. Remillard pounded his opponent, Augustine “Ruthless” Maura (6-2-3 3 KOs), whose toughness showed throughout the contest as Remillard pounded his Lawrence (Massachusetts) opponent to the body and head en route to a eight-round unanimous decision (80-71, 79-72, 78-73) en la baralla co-estel·lar. NOVA YORK (Març 25, 2017) – Jorge Linares defended his WBA Lightweight World Championship with a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Crolla Dissabte evening on SHOWTIME BOXING INTERNATIONAL from Manchester, Anglaterra. The win sets Linares up for a possible unification fight with WBC Lightweight World Champion Mikey Garcia, a matchup that would be considered one of the best that can be made in any weight class.

Dissabte de main event from Manchester Arena aired live on SHOWTIME. Live fight coverage was provided by Sky Sports with Adam Smith calling play-by-play and world champion Carl Froch serving as ringside analyst. Garcia joined SHOWTIME Sports host Brian Custer and analysts Al Bernstein and Paul Malignaggi to provide commentary from a New York studio.

Linares and Crolla previously fought a fierce, closely contested battle last September, one that Linares won by just a few rounds. En dissabte, Linares retained the belt by a wide margin—118-109 on all three scorecards—virtually outclassing Crolla from the outset.

“He seems to be getting better with age,” said Froch, sharing a growing sentiment among boxing pundits.

Linares (42-3, 27 Nocauts) cruised through much of the fight with an impressive display of boxing skill and power. A precisely timed uppercut floored Crolla in the seventh. Moments later Linares nearly finished him with a flurry against the ropes. Crolla, però, would not go quietly. But Linares was simply too sharp, too fast and too comfortable for Crolla to overcome.
