Wala ako napildi, ug us aka two-time champion sa kalibutan.

Can Saunders Secure His Most Impressive Win to Date Over Lemieux?

Billy Joe Saunders will take to the ring on December 16 in Canada as the reigning and defending WBO middleweight champion, being the proud owner of a belt which he won way back in December 2015 when defeating fellow traveller Andy Lee.

But since outpointing Irishman Lee with a majority decision success to become world champion at the Manchester Arena, Saunders has only defended it on two occasions, with unanimous decision triumphs over Artur Akavov and Willie Monroe Jr., more recently.

Against game Russian Akavov, the undefeated world title holder was far from impressive and perhaps even lucky to get such a comfortable decision in the end at the Lagoon Leisure Centre on Scottish soil. The win over American challenger Monroe Jr was a lot better, having then undertaken Dominic Ingle as his newest coach.

But the latter bout was still a drab affair and did nothing to further or boost Saundersappeal to a broader audience, as he outworked the New York-born southpaw quite comfortably. For most of the title defence, he was barely made to work at all, with Monroe having come in with a bizarrely inefficient gameplan.

Apan, the 28-year-old will next face undoubtedly his toughest career test to date against former 160lbs champion David Lemieux, a far more serious challenge than an inexperienced and youthful Chris Eubank Jr, an indifferent Andy Lee and the far from threatening Willy Monroe Junior.

Hard-hitting Canadian Lemieux will enter the ring ropes as the evens outsider in the latest boxing odds to prevail on home territory, a promising price for a fighter on a strong surge of victories of late. Since being viciously stopped in a gallant showing against the division kingpin Gennady Golovkin in October 2015, the 28-year-old has earned four consecutive wins, including two big knockouts of Glen Tapia and Curtis Stevens.

Of all the opponents Saunders has gone toe to toe with to date, none have possessed the punching power of Lemieux, and that could be a decisive factor come fight night. The latter home hope is promoted by Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy, who are seemingly keen to match the Canadian up with main cash cow Saul ‘CaneloAlvarez next year, rather than throw him in with ‘GGGonce again in a highly awaited rematch.

Despite being the favourite to prevail and maintain his unbeaten record on what will be his maiden venture outside of the UK in his professional career, it seems the odds are actually stacked against Saunders for this latest encounter.

It has been evident, usab, that Saunders doesn’t boast the massive power capable of keeping a fleet-footed Lemieux away from the danger areas throughout their match-up. Knockout artist Lemieux produced what could eventually be voted stoppage of the year back in March when he brutally put Stevenslights out in New York City.

Could another vicious stoppage success be on the cards on home soil? It’s up to Saunders and Ingle to execute their upcoming gameplan perfectly to secure what would be a highly impressive victory on the road, but it looks likely of being a truly testing night in Quebec.

It pits a rugged and accomplished BJJ black belt in Moffett (10-2) against one of the most dynamic strikers in all of MMA in Le (7-1) with the LFA interim featherweight title on the line. Sa papel, this is a textbook grappler vs. striker bout at its highest form. Apan, both men bring so much more to the table than what their respective martial arts backgrounds represent. Moffett, who trains out of The MMA Lab, has shown a willingness to throw down with anyone, while Le trains with BJJ wunderkind and UFC star Ryan Hall in northern Virginia.
LFA will conclude its busy month of January with a pair of title tilts in southern Louisiana. LFA standout and Louisiana native Allen (8-2) will get a second shot at LFA gold after going five rounds with current UFC star Eryk Anders for the inaugural LFA middleweight title in June. Allen quickly rebounded six weeks later with a submission win in the co-main event of LFA 18. He will face another highly-touted undefeated prospect for the title. Ang co-main event sa LFA 32 will crown the inaugural LFA light-heavyweight champion. Spann (12-5) is a former Legacy FC title challenger that will look to capture LFA gold in front of his home crowd. “Superman” is riding considerable momentum heading into this fight after dispatching a pair of top contenders in the first round of his last two bouts at LFA 23 and LFA 27. He will face Nicholson (10-4) who has been a man on fire since his four-fight run with the UFC ended in May. The Florida native has been a tour de force since then as he looks to make his way back. Demetrius Andrade wins 12-round unanimous decision over Alantez Fox in Middleweight Debut

SA HINANALING PAGPAGAWAS
Verona, NY (Oct. 21 2017) -Two-Time undefeated world champion Demetrio Andrade made a successful debut as a middleweight by winning a dominant 12-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Alantez Fox at The Turning Stone Resort Casino.
The bout was the co-feature bout of an HBO Boxing After Dark® tripleheader
Sa round sa usa ka, Andrade rocked Fox with a blistering straight left hand. Fox was wobbled badly, and Andrade jumped on Fox. After landing several hard follow up shots, Fox was able to hold on and get out of the first frame. Andrade was dominant as he continued to land swift combinations at will. That opening flurry caused Fox to engage very sporadically during the fight
In round seven, Fox was awarded a dubious knockdown when Andrade slipped on the wet canvas. Television replays showed that Fox did not even land a punch during that exchange.
That was the only blemish for Andrade, as he controlled the action by using his superior skills on both the inside and landing crisp and sharp punches on the outside and he cruised home to the victory. Compubox punch stats showed the dominance of Andrade as he outlanded Fox 158-52 over the 12-round bout with Andrade winning the power shots by a 132-29 margin.
Those stats were evident in the scoring as Andrade of Providence, Rhode Island won by scores of 118-110, 118-109, ug 116-111 to push his perfect mark to 25-0.
Fox loses for the first time, and the native of Forestville, Maryland is now 23-1-1.
ANDRADE QUOTES
I did what I had to do in there. I think I did very well, but I will look at the fight and then give myself a grade after that,” Miingon Andrade.
I did everything I needed to do. It was a great experience to go 12 rounds at this weight. Fox is a tough kid, and after I hurt him early in the first round, he recovered well. He wasn’t sloppy and he knew how to survive, so that is why I did not finish him.
I took my time and I needed the 12 rounds. I knew I could hurt him and had the pop to do it.
I will go back and work on putting a little more pop on my punches and I feel that I can do a lot of damage.
He was a big test. Nobody would step up and face him, and I did. This is why I am the best, because I am willing to face anybody. Fox is a good fighter and he will do damage down the line, but like I told everybody before the fight, Look out It’s me again!.”
Sa mga dili-televised aksyon, Ruben Villa remained perfect by winning a six-round unanimous decision over German Meraz in a featherweight bout.
Villa controlled the action against the 100 fight veteran Meraz. Villa won by shutout margins on all cards by the scores of 60-54 which made Villa of Salinas, California raise his mark to 9-0. Meraz of Agua, Prieta, Mexico mao ang 54-45-1.
The card opened up with Michael Dutchover beating down and eventually stopping Anthony De Jesus Ruiz in round four of their six-round lightweight bout.
Dutchover landed heavy blows throughout the contest and had Ruiz in trouble several times before the bout was stopped at 2:42 sa round upat ka.
Dutchover of Santa Fe Springs, California via Midland, Texas mao ang karon 7-0 uban sa lima ka knockouts. Ruiz of San Luis Potosi, Mexico mao ang karon 2-4.
Ang Andrade – Fox bout was promoted by Banner Promotions, Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and A-Team Promotions, in association with DiBella Entertainment.

Salinas, who has been boxing since age nine and had over 100 amateur away, says his incredible height comes from his father/trainer Freddy Fundora’s Cuban side of the family. His mother is of Mexican descent.
I have cousins in Cuba that are seven feet tall,” said Fundora. “I eat a lot but for some reason, I can’t gain any weight. Could be because I’m always training.
Natural, Fundora says he boxes from the outside and uses his natural gifts to overwhelm opponents and eventually stop them. He credits his success in the ring to his father, who has been his trainer since the first day. “He’s always been there for me, and he’s the biggest inspiration of my life. He’s the only person I really look up to. He’s my coach and father and best friend; an all-around good guy.
Fundora says he doesn’t know much about opponent Toney, but has worked hard at Coachella Valley Boxing Club to land this big promotional bump with a victory. “Una ug labaw sa tanan, I want to thank Sampson Boxing Promotions for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent that has derived from all the hard work that both my team and I have put in for so long,” continued Fundora. “As ‘Towering Inferno,’ my game plan is out of control and coming your way on Martes, September 26, at the Cannery Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas.
The lost art of professionalism in the boxing industry is something that Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz bases his company on,” said Freddy Fundora. “Those very same values are the core of Fundora Squad and what we are based around.
“Ako wala makakita kaniya makig-away pa,” said Sampson Lewkowicz. “But with a name like Towering Inferno and that incredible height, I will be watching closely. If he is impressive in victory, I look forward to a long association with Sebastian and his father, Freddy. Sa lang 19 ka tuig ang panuigon, Sebastian has all the physical gifts to become a major force from middleweight all the way to heavyweight with age.
###
Sampson Lewkowicz is proud to announce he will be donating $1 from every ticket sold to his upcoming event in Las Vegas to help victims of the recent Mexico City Earthquake. The donated funds, to be distributed by Mauricio Sulaiman of the World Boxing Council, will be matched X5 by world-renowned philanthropist and Mexican business man Carlos Slim’s Foundation.

Philadelphia. Pa./Rochester, NY (Aug. 31, 2017) – Kini nga milabay nga Martes at the Rochester Fight Factory, Willie Monroe, Jr. met a throng of media personel during his media day workout in advance of his Septyembre 16 showdown with WBO World Middleweight Champion Billy Joe Saunders at the Copper Box Arena in London, England.
Monroe held court and analyzed many topics regarding the fight and his career as he gets ready for his 2nd world title opportunity.
Below are quotes, video interviews and images from the event, which included a visit from Rochester Deputy Mayor Cedric Alexander.
MONROE QUOTES:
I am battle tested, and I have gone through this and gave a good account of myself against Golovkin. Kini nga panahon, I am going to enjoy the moment a little more. I am enjoying the process.

Nothing is given to you, so I have to go take it.

I give people from my city hope.

The one thing that Golovkin and Canelo need, I am going to get my hands on, so they will have to see me.

Saunders is a little mouthy. I am a humble guy. It has me motivated, and come Septyembre 16, he will have heck to pay.

I want my rematch with Triple-G, but I think Canelo is the more skilled fighter. Kini mahimong usa ka dako nga away. I appreciate both of them for fighting each other.

I might feel like boxing his ears off, or I may want to get him out of there.

My application to boxing, shows that I am strongrt then these guys.
