ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (January 2, 2017) – M-1 Global has announced a battle of undefeated fighters to headline M-I provocare 75 as M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko takes on top challenger Shaukat Rakhmonov, March 3, in Moscoviae, Russia.

Kunchenko (15-0-0, M, I: 7-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Russia, used his tremendous Muay Thai skills to capture the coveted M-1 Challenge welterweight title belt last April at M-I provocare 65, when defending titlist Murad Abdulaev retired during the fourth round.
In a non-title fight, Kunchenko won a 3-round unanimous decision over Eduardo Ramon at M-1 Challenge at M-I provocare 70 last September. His first title defense was December 5 at M-I provocare 72, in which Kunchenko (pictured below) won a 5-round unanimous decision over Abdulaev in a rematch.
Fighting out of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, Rakhmonov (7-0-0, M, I: 4-0-0) is a former MMA amateur star who captured gold medals at the World Mixed Martial Arts Association (WMMAA) world and Asia Championships. The prodigy has continued his dominance as a professional, consistently displaying his world-class Combat Sambo talent.
Rakhmonov (pictured below) received the M-I provocare 59 Submission of the Night on July 3, 2015, as he choked out Michal Wiencek only 49-seconds into the opening round. In his most recent M-1 Challenge fight, Rakhmonov knocked out Marcelo vehentium in the first-round last June at M-I provocare 67.

NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Russia (December 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “Hoc est” Buchinger in the opening round of hac nocte M-I provocare 73: Battle of Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.
In pluma co-, M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev won a hard fought three-round split decision over Anatoly Tokov in Ingushetia, Russia.
Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M, I: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. In his 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – pugnis) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout de Nocte, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 at M-I provocare 51.
Idrisov (R) put Buchinger to sleep to become M-1 Challenge Featherweight champion
Buchinger (31-5-0, M, I: 6-1-0), pugnatorum de Slovakia, rode a 10-fight win streak into M-I provocare 73, losing for the first time since 2012 to Conor McGregor. Buchinger stopped Tural Ragimov to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 at M-I provocare 52.
Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M, I: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M, I: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Morrison (15-7-0, M, I: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M, I: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M, I: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilograms) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-I provocare 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-I provocare 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, autem King of the Cage fortissimus, suscipit, Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M, I: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-I provocare 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-I provocare 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
At M-I provocare 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

In ultimo proelio, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov at M-I provocare 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, in tergum 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – pugnis) in M-I provocare 49 Knockout de Nocte, Max Coga (DEC3) atque Sergius Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 at M-I provocare 51 (see picture below).

INGUSHETIA, Russia (October 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Nemkov Viktor put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-I provocare 71 in Ingushetia, Russia.
Kazakhstan-indigena Nemkov (24-6-0, M, I: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Russia, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion AttilaPumukliVegh(29-8-2, M, I: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, in consectetur.

Fighting in the inaugural M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Championship, Russian fighter Vitruk (14-2-0, M, I: 8-2-0) victum Vitali Branchuk (21-6-0, M, I: 1-2-0), Ucraina, by way of a fourth-round submission.

Russian welterweight Sergey Romanov (9-1-0, M, I: 3-0-0) took a three-round unanimous decision from Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pirum (37-11-1, M, I: 1-1-0), Brazil Dei, while M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko (42-11-2, M, I: 9-1-0) decisioned Brazilian foe RubeniltonRubinkho” Pirum (16-3-0, M, I: 0-1-0) in a non-title fight contested at a 160-pound catrchweight.
Former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight Stephan “T-DCCC” Puetz (15-2-0, M, I: 5-1-0), Germaniae, also put himself in position for another title fight, possibly against his arch-rival Nemkov, by forcing Brazilian Marcus ViniciusMountan” Lopes (9-2-0, M, I: 1-1-0) into submission via a rear naked choke in the third round.
