Las Vegas (Noviembre 28, 2018) – After another successful event this past May over the Cinco de Mayo weekend, Box Fan Expo organizers are excited to announce the fourth annual Box Fan Expo, returning once again at the Centro de convenciones de Las Vegas en 5 de mayo, 2018.

Over the traditional and special Cinco de Mayo weekend which saw Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez battle with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., at the T-Mobile stadium in Las Vegas in 2017, the Box Fan Expo also took place, opening its doors to boxing fans from all over the world.
From Las Vegas, the boxing mecca of the world, enthusiastic fans from all over were able to meet and greet some of their favourite fighters, tanto en el pasado y el presente. The lucky fans who stayed throughout the full event had quite a treat with a special appearance by Floyd Mayweather Jr. who took time out of his busy schedule to honour the Box Fan Expo with an impromptu appearance towards the end of the show to support the Mayweather Promotions Team.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Noviembre 20, 2017) – Este pasado Sábado Prince Ranch boxeo prospecto superligeros, Blair “el Flair” Cobbs (7-0, 6 KOs), se mantuvo invicto con una actuación dominante contra Ousmane Sylla (1-3-1, 1 KO), Hacer un 4º TKO. El combate 6 asaltos tuvo lugar en el en el Casino de la Fitzgerald & Hotel en Tunica, Misisipí.
“Desde la campana inicial, Cobbs aplica una presión tremenda cantidad mientras caminaba por Sylla, obligándole a luchar hacia atrás pasando. Cobbs estaba excavando en el cuerpo con la intención vicioso. Cobbs continuaron con abrumar Sylla con un ataque sin cuartel, aterrizaje de varios golpes de poder a la cabeza y el cuerpo en las rondas dos y tres. Finalmente, Cobbs conectó otro sólido gancho de derecha a la cabeza que obligó al árbitro a detener la pelea en la cuarta ronda, dándole la victoria por TKO.

The 39-year-old Smith (29-8, 12 KOs) won his world championship with a majority decision over Cornelius Bundrage on Feb. 23, 2013 to become the first Las Vegas-native to win a world title. He has also challenged top fighters such as Erislandy Lara and Daniel Jacobs and most recently defeated Tommy Rainone and Frank Galarza in his last two bouts.
“I took this fight just like I’ve taken every tough fight over the years,” dijo Smith. “I constantly challenge myself to the best and I believe Julian Williams is one of the best in the division. Lionell Thompson (18-4, 11 KOs) is on the trail of a 175-pound world championship and he hasn’t taken the easy road, having challenge the likes of Sergey Kovalev and Radivoje Kalajdzic in his pro career. The 32-year-old out of Buffalo, N.Y. is coming off a knockout victory over Steve Lovett in his last fight on Febrero. 24. The last time he fought at the Cosmopolitan, he defeated Donovan George by unanimous decision on Sept. 16, 2016.
Unbeaten prospect Earl Newman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) will be taking a big step forward in taking on his toughest competition to date in Thompson. The 26-year-old Brooklyn-native is coming off a split draw against Paul Parker on Siete. 19 after winning his first 10 peleas como profesional.

Pound-4-Pound Boxing Program sends Jordan Aguilar and Leslie Soto to Elite Qualifier
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Octubre 12, 2017) – On the week of October 16th-21st, two of the rising stars of the “Libra-4-Libra” boxing gym in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jordan Aguilar, 19 years-old fighting in the 108 libra. division as well as leslie soto, 18 years-old in the 125 libra, will compete at The Eastern Elite Qualifier and Regional Open Championships held at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a national title.
The event will feature the very best fighters from across the United States and features many future stars of the division with Jordan Aguilar and Leslie Soto at the top of the list of the talent heading into next weekend’s event.
Jordan Aguilar, a well-respected amateur, who has fought in numerous national competitions is looking to show his experience and poise as one of the favorites heading into the event.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Septiembre 24, 2017) – Prospecto invicto de peso supermosca, Damien “Azúcar” Vázquez (11-0, 6 KOs), hace su regreso al ring el Octubre 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, México. Esta lucha, programado para 8 rondas, marcará la tercera vez este año que Vázquez se subirá al ring, mientras busca extender su racha ganadora. Se anunciará un oponente en breve.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Septiembre 1, 2017) – Unbeaten super-middleweight contender (AMB #7 y FIB #11), Caleb “Sweethands” Planta (15-0, 10 KOs), was a big hit at theSunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas yesterday as he visited kids dealing with medical conditions. The visit was in honor of his daughter Alia, who passed away from an unknown medical condition at 19-months old, back in January of 2015. Palacio de zapatos,Primera fila, Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (CMB), Liga de Campeones de Boxeo (PBC), yTiempo De La Funcion all donated gifts that put smiles on all the kids faces.
“It was a great day for me to be visiting these kids in the hospital.” dijo Caleb Planta, “Seeing all the smiles on their faces made me feel good inside. My daughter Alia and her spirit lives on and I know she’s up in heaven smiling down on me. I’m going to be making this an annual event. I want to thank the WBC, Palacio de zapatos, Primera fila, Showtime and PBC for the gifts they donated. I also want to thank the folks at Sunrise Children’s Hospital for giving me the opportunity to visit the kids. I’m very thankful to everyone who was involved.”
