KYE “MR. VEGAS” BROOKS FACES TOUGHEST TEST OF HIS CAREER

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 21, 2018) – Prince Ranch Boxing’s unbeaten heavyweight prospect, Kye Brooks (4-0, 3 KOs) returns to the ring, December 1, 2018, at The Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, as part of a stacked undercard for Kendo Castaneda (14-0, 7 KOs) vs. Gilbert Venegas Jr. (10-0, 6 KOs), co-promoted by TMB & PRB Entertainment and Roy Jones Jr. Promotions.

Brooks will be stepping up in competition to face Vaughn Parham (3-1 3KOs), who has won every bout in his professional career via knockout.

“I wanted a challenge, so I made sure I faced the toughest opponent possible,” said Kye Brooks, who resides in Las Vegas, and is trained by former two-time world champion Bones Adams. “Vaughn Parham is a kill or be killed type of fighter. He has tremendous power and it’s a dangerous fight. I took this challenge so that I can make a statement.”

“Brooks is a great fighter with good power in both hands.” said Greg Hannely, CEO of Prince Ranch Boxing. “He’s eager to face the best in his division. I am very excited for what the future holds for him.

This is Brooks’ toughest test to date as the New York native Parham is a heavy-handed slugger looking to pull off the upset.

“I am ready!” Brooks continued. “I didn’t turn pro for anything, I am giving people good fights and entertaining bouts, December 1st is just another one.”

The entire card will be streamed via Facebook’s FIGHTNIGHT LIVE channel, which has already served more than three million fight fans since May 2017.

TIJUANA, MX (October 1, 2018) – Prince Ranch Boxing heavyweights, Kye Brooks (4-0, 3 KOs) and fellow stablemate, heavyweight Jonathan Rice (9-3-1, 5 KOs), both who are managed by Greg Hannley, were victorious this past Saturday in Tijuana, MX.

 

 

 

Jonathan Rice scored a first-round knockout against, Juan Carlos Moreno. After a few explosive exchanges, Rice caught Moreno with a counter right hand that sent him to the canvas. Moreno got up and came firing back, only to get caught again with a strait right cross, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 2:19 mark of round one.

 

 

 

“Fighting in Mexico is a challenging experience when the whole crowd is against you,” said Rice. “After a few exchanges I got comfortable in there and took him out. I’m thankful to my manager Greg for keeping me busy. I’m ready to get right back in the ring and keep this momentum going.”

 

 

 

Brooks, who hails from Las Vegas, scored a first-round knockout over Jorge Jimenez. After dropping him twice with two powerful left hooks, a barrage of punches followed, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 2:37 mark.

 

 

 

“I came out here and got the knockout out,” stated Brooks. “After being out of the ring for a few months, it felt good to get back in there. I’m hoping to return to the ring at least one more time before the year ends.”

 

 

 

“Fighting in Mexico is something we plan on doing moving forward as I want to keep my guys busy.” said Greg Hannley, CEO of Prince Ranch Boxing. “Kye and Jonnie both got knockout victories and the march continues. TIJUANA, MX (September 27, 2018) – Undefeated heavyweight prospect Kye Brooks (3-0, 2 KOs) and fellow stablemate, heavyweight Jonathan Rice (8-3-1, 4 KOs), both who are managed by Greg Hannley of Prince Ranch Boxing, will be fighting in separate four-round bouts this Saturday, September 29, 2018, in Tijuana, MX.

 

 

 

Brooks, who last fought in April of this year, hails from Las Vegas, NV, and is trained by former two-time world champion Bones Adams. Standing 6’4, Brooks will look to extend on his undefeated record.

 

 

 

“I’m going to come out firing early in this fight,” said a confident Kye Brooks. “It’s been a few months since I last fought so I’m eager to get in the ring and do some damage. Mexico is like a second home to me since all my fights have took place there. I’ll be looking to get my third knockout.”

 

 

 

Rice, who is trained by former world champion, Wayne McCulloh, resides in Los Angeles, California. Rice recently fought in San Antonio, TX, earlier this month, where we won a lopsided six-round unanimous decision.

 

 

 

“I’m happy to be getting right back in the ring,” stated Jonathan Rice. “Now that I got Wayne McCulloh in my corner, I’m seeing the difference in my performance. I’m hurting guys in sparring and my confidence is at an all time high. I’m going to set up all my combinations with a nice jab, with the thought of knocking out my opponent.”

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 2, 2017) – Prince Ranch Boxing’s (PRB) undefeated fighters, super-flyweight Damien “Sugar” Vazquez (12-0, 6 KOs), super-featherweight Edwing Davila (16-0, 9 KOs), featherweight Isaac Avelar (13-0, 8 KOs), featherweight Victor Pasillas (11-0, 4 KOs), super-lightweight Blair Cobbs (7-0, 4 KOs), and light-heavyweight Kye Brooks (1-0, 1 KO), all make their way back to the ring on December 2, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexico.  In addition, super welterweight Daniel Biaz (10-1, 5 KOs) and female flyweight Mayran Salazar (6-2), will be featured on the card.
Sugar Promotions LLC, will promote the 8-fight card titled “New Blood”, with Issac “Canelito” Avelar fighting for the WBC FECOMBOX Featherweight title in the 10-round main-event.  Damien “Sugar” Vazquez will be fighting in the 8-round co-main event.  All fighters will have opponents TBA.

Light-Heavyweight Kye Brooks  Signs With Prince Ranch Boxing, Blair Cobbs Returns to the Ring

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 5, 2017) – Prince Ranch Boxing (PRB) has signed light-heavyweight amateur standout, Kye Brooks, who will be making his pro debut, October 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Also making an appearance on the card, is PRB’s unbeaten super-lightweight prospect, Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (6-0, 5 KOs), a southpaw from Philly, but who now resides in Las Vegas.  Both fighters will have opponents TBA.
“After having success in the amateurs, I’m looking forward to making my pro debut with the Prince Ranch Boxing management team,” said a smiling Kye Brooks. “Greg Hannely is a great man, a trust-worthy person, who I know will get me the right fights while building my career.  I just want to go out to Mexico and get a nice victory.  In the near future, the boxing world will take notice of my career and what I’m doing in the ring.”
Blair Cobbs, who trains at the Prince Ranch Boxing facility with Brooks, is excited about returning to the ring.  This will be Blair’s third fight of 2017.
“I’m happy to be fighting once again and I’m going to Mexico to do some destruction.” Blair Cobbs said. “I’ve been staying busy and I want to thank Greg Hannely for all his hard work and dedication.  We have something special going on here at the Prince Ranch Boxing gym.  We are making noise in the boxing world and soon enough, everyone will know who we are.  I’m working extremely hard in the gym and the hard work will show come fight night.”
Former world champion, Clarence “Bones” Adams, who trains both Cobbs and Brooks, gives his thoughts on his fighters.
“Kye is a very strong puncher and I see him doing a lot of damage early in his career.” stated Bones Adams. “Blair is whooping everyone in the gym.  I know he’s going to make a statement in this next fight.  Both are great kids who believe in themselves and they certainly have bright futures in boxing.”
In the main-event, unbeaten super-flyweight prospect, Damien “Sugar” Vazquez (11-0, 6 KOs), will face an opponent TBA, in an 8-round bout.  Vazquez, Cobbs and Brooks, all fight under the management of Prince Ranch Boxing.
