Atlantic City, NJ (April 19, 2017)- Undefeated junior welterweight Kenneth Sims, Jr. will look to make it 12 in a row without a loss when he takes on tough Mexican Israel Villela in a six-round co-feature bout lokhu ngoMgqibelo ebusuku at The Claridge Hotel In Atlantic City.

The bout will be part of a ten-bout card promoted by GH3 Promotions and D and D Promotions.
In the umcimbi main, undefeated junior welterweight Keenan Smith (10-0, 4 KO sika) of Philadelphia takes on veteran Edgar Gabejan of the Philippines in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.
Sims of Chicago, will be making his 2nd consecutive start on the boardwalk after his eight-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles (15-1-1) on January 20th at Ballys. That fight was part of a ShoBox: The New Generation card seen live on Showtime.
Sims got the call to take aStay Busy” fight, before he steps back up later in the Summer.
I found out about this fight three weeks ago. It is not a big deal, I already had been sparring, so I am in good shape and ready for Saturday,” said Sims.
In Villela, Sims has seen little, but not a lot of his opponent, but he will be ready for anything that Villela will bring to the ring.
I saw a few Youtube videos, but I did not see a lot to get to a feel for him. But I am an experienced fighter, and I just have to fight my fight. I am not underestimating him, and I know he will be trying to win.
In the fight with Robles, Sims fought well throughout, and gave a brief critique of his performance.
I looked over the last fight, and I looked better watching it on television then I thought I did in the ring. With ukuthi kusho, I know I have things to work on, and I could have looked better.
Sims is looking for a big performance ngomgqibelo that will be a prelude to a busy Summer.
It would be good to get a stoppage. I am looking to come back May 13th in Louisiana, then a fight back on television.

GH3 Promotions scores 6 big victories this past Friday night in Atlantic City

Nutley, NJ (January 24, 2017)Despite the disappointing loss by Adam Lopez in the main event of the ShoBox: The New Generation card at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, GH3 Promotions still had a prosperous evening as the company registered six big victories on the show.

Televised winners included Ronald Ellis futhi Kenenth Sims, Jr. ngenkathi Stephon Young, LeRoy Davila, Keenan Smith futhi Malik Jackson were all very impressive on the undercard.
Ellis won a 8-round unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker to raise his record to 14-0-1 in a super middleweight iziqubu.
Junior Welterweight, Sims was making his national television debut, and did so in style as he remained perfect by winning a 8-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles to go to 11-0.
Young of St. Louis fought a crowd pleasing fight, and took home a unanimous decision over Olimjon Nazarov and the number-4 ranked bantamweight contender is now 16-0-3.
Davila, a 2016 United Stated Olympic alternate, dominated and ultimately stopped fellow undefeated bantamweight Anthony Taylor in round three of their four round bout. Davila, a native of New Brunswick, New Jersey is now 5-0 kanye 3 knockouts.
Smith of Philadelphia was impressive in stopping Marquis Hawthorne after round five of their scheduled six round welterweight bout. Smith was dominant from the opening bell, and Hawthorne had taken enough punishment to pack it in after round five. Smith is now 10-0 kanye 4 knockouts.
Jackson of Washington, D.C. was making his first start under the GH3 promotional banner and took out an overmatched Christian Foster in the 1st round. The super bantamweight remained perfect at 2-0 with both wins coming early.
Some of our younger guys really showed that they are legit prospects,” said Vito Mielnicki, CEO of GH3 Promotions.
Adam Lopez in defeat showed a lot of heart and he will be back. He has showed that he can beat a lot of good fighters and his loss is just a minor setback. Ellis is at the point now where he should start getting rated by the sanctioning bodies, and start competing for regional titles in the super middleweight division. If I would have won that, I would be fighting for a world title. I wanted to win that fight in general, but I look forward to the next fight. Maybe I wasn’t supposed to get the title shot now. I just have to work and that shot will come. I just have to be patient.
Valcarcel has a record of 14-8-4 nge knockouts emihlanu. The 34 year-old native of Miami, Florida has wins over Jovanny Soto (15-2-1), Rodolfo Garay (14-2-1) & Leivi Brea (16-4-3).
The 12 year veteran also has fought former world champion Eric Morel and future world champion Jessie Magdaleno.
Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on June 25th in Dallas, Texas.
I know he is a 2004 Olympian. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.
