“This is really a big fight for me. I know that Ashley Theophane is going to come to fight, because he has something to prove. He’s going to try to take my world title.
“A lot of people told me I wouldn’t be here. I come from nothing. Like cereal and water nothing. I’m very fortunate to have someone like Floyd to look up to. I don’t want to be like Floyd though, I don’t want to be like any man. I admire him and respect him, but I’m creating my legacy.

At just 20-years-old, Martin is entering his third year in the professional ranks. A busy 2015 saw him take home four victories, including his first three six-round bouts. He will fight in his hometown of D.C. for the second time on April 1.

U glavni događaj, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 KO-a) će square off s bivšim titulu svjetskog prvaka Challenger Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 KO-a) u Lagane borba zakazano za 10-rundi.

Bennett of Cincinnati, Ohio je naporno treniram za Maicelo, koji je izazvao za privremenu titulu prvaka.

U glavni događaj, Brandon Bennett will square off with former world title challenger Jonathan Maicelo in a Lightweight bout scheduled for 10-rounds.

Bennett of Cincinnati, OH has a record of 19-1 sa 8 nokauta. The 27 year-old has been a professional for seven years and won his first 16 bouts which included a win over John Nater (9-1). Since suffering his only defeat, Bennett has won three in a row which has been highlighted with a with a win over previously undefeated Rodney Pierre-Paul (7-0) and his last bout when he stopped Rondale Hubbert (10-1-1) in three rounds on May 29 u Philadelphiji.

Maicelo of North Bergen, NJ has a record of 21-2 sa 12 nokauta. He began his career in his native Peru in 2005. He racked up 17 wins and in the process won the WBC Latino Lightweight title and the WBA Fedecentro Lightweight title. He has wins over former world title challengers Daniel Attah and Fernando Angulo and also has a win over Art Hovhannisyan. U svojoj zadnjoj bout, Maicelo lost a 12-round unanimous decision to Darleys Perez for the Interim WBA Lightweight championship on January 9 in Santa Ynez, Kalifornija.

Welterweight Bryant Perella will take part in his first eight-round bout when he takes on tough German Perez.

He already has quality victories over Benito Tovar (3-0-1), which was a first-round stoppage and his last bout when he stopped Justin Johnson in four rounds onFebruar 20.

In Perez, the fight is a step up as the Tijuana native is unbeaten in his last seven bouts and is already competed in an eight-round bout.
“For me to have my first eight round fight is a step up. This step up will really help me. I am going to relax and box then I will be able to break him down and get him out of there.”
Perella is dedicating the fight to 18-year old Devin Raynaer who recently passed away in a car accident.
“He was a friend of mine and I am dedicating this bout to him. I just want to thank my fans for supporting me and I am ready for an exciting fight.”
