Baltimore Boxing hosten "Knock de Vulling Out" November 25!

Baltimore, MD (Oktober 23, 2015) - Jake Smith van Baltimore Boksen Promotions zal gebied fans met Olympische stijl boksen op Thanksgiving vooravond bieden door de presentatie van "Knock de Vulling Out" woensdag, November 25 bij Michaels Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD.

 

Tickets zijn nu te koop door te bellen naar 410-375-9175 of inloggen op Baltimoreboxing.com. Individuele tickets in voorverkoop start op $25, gereserveerde zitplaatsen zijn $35, gereserveerde tafels voor 10 gaat voor $350, individuele VIP-plaatsen zijn $50 en VIP-tafels van 10 zijn geprijsd op $500. Deuren open om 6:30 pm en het eerste gevecht begint om 8.All VIP ticketholders ontvangt een aanvullend buffet een uur voordat het eerste gevecht.

 

In samenwerking met "Knock de vulling Out" Baltimore Boksen is het doneren van tickets en het hosten van een 50/50 loterij voor de Colon Cancer Alliance te helpen vechten tegen deze gevaarlijke ziekte.

 

Een van de dodelijkste vormen van kanker, de missie van de Colon Cancer Alliance is het aan darmkanker knock-out door het opkomen voor preventie, financiering van baanbrekend onderzoek en het verstrekken van kwaliteit van de patiëntenzorg support service. De Colon Cancer Alliance is een trots lid van de normen van de Nationale Gezondheidsraad of Excellence Certification Program.

 

"We zijn toegewijd aan het uitspelen van darmkanker,"Zei Allison Ornitz, Ontwikkeling coördinator van het Colon Cancer Alliance. Topping "Knock de Vulling Out" is een spannende zwaargewicht strijd tussen Baltimore Boxing Brian "Bam Bam" Haneschlager en Drew Ryan van West-Virginia. Haneschlager is een hardhandig vechter met een grote fan volgende in Maryland en Ryan is nog te verliezen, opstellen van een 7-0 record.

 

Baltimore Boxing Donald Wallace vecht collega Baltimorean Tyrell Boyd in de co-main event van de avond. Wallace, die steeds beter met elk gevecht, verloor een controversiële beslissing om hoog aangeschreven Sharif Rahman vorige maand op de Olympische kwalificatie in Philadelphia.

Baltimore, MD (Mei 27, 2015) – Jake Smith, CEO of Baltimore Boxing Promotions, and his family recently met with Baltimore City Police officials.

Smid, a longtime promoter in the Charm City and former professional boxer, was personally impacted by the riots as his gym was temporarily shut down. Having spent his entire life in and around Baltimore, Smith called the riots the worst thing he’s ever seen and feared for the safety of those that had neighboring businesses. Within a few days, order was restored due to an outstanding effort by the Baltimore PD.

During the visit, which included time with Chief of Staff Ganesha Martin and Commissioner Anthony Batts, Smith personally thanked them for their heroic efforts. He also donated tickets for his Mei 29 “Blood, Sweat & Tears” fight card at Michael’s Eighth Avenue to the department and will honor them during the evening.

“The police are unsung heroes in almost every community,"Zei Smith. “It’s unfortunate that certain isolated incidents have many people feeling like law enforcement is bad. We all must remember the good that they’ve done in keeping us safe. They risk their lives to keep crime, drugs and guns off the streets. It’s also important for people in Baltimore to remember how scary it was living here during the riots. The men and women of the police department literally had to face violent protesters while significantly outnumbered. For all that they did to restore the city I love, the absolute least I can do is donate tickets and honor them on fight night. I believe that we all owe them a big thank you for protecting us.”

During the recent Baltimore Riots, a number of officers were hit with rocks, bricks and others items while attempting to stop violent protests. Globaal, meer dan 100 officers were injured trying to prevent further damage to the city. During the evening, Baltimore Boxing will have a special ceremony honoring the department for their courageous efforts to stop violent protesters.

 

“Baltimore was a very scary place last month,"Zei Smith. “I had to shut my gym down and know a lot of people had their businesses destroyed. If it weren’t for the brave men and women in law enforcement, things would’ve been even worse. I commend them for the job they did and honoring them during the card is the least that I can do.”

 

Fast rising heavyweight Sam “Vanilla Gorilla” Crossed returns to the ring less than three weeks after his most recent bout when he defends his East Coast Heavyweight crown in the main event. gekruiste, who is turning professional after this fight, has shown tremendous improvement and always gives fans their monies worth. Baltimore Boxing issues Statement on Baltimore Riots

Baltimore, MD (April 28, 2015) – As the rioters tear through the streets of Baltimore, MD, boxing promoter and gym owner Jake “The Snake” Smith remains extremely concerned for his friends, family and community. Like many other locals, Smith not only calls the Baltimore area his home but a place where he makes a living.

 

Having spent his entire life in and around Baltimore, Smith’s two children attend nearby schools and his Baltimore Boxing Gym is located on S. Broadway. For the safety of those that attend, Smith closed his gym yesterday and is keeping the doors shut today as well. Due the violent protests of Freddie Gray’s death, Smith isn’t positive when he will be able to continue training his boxers, many of whom use the Baltimore Boxing Gym as a resource to escape the preexisting dangers of the streets.

 

“In my forty-plus years in Baltimore, this is the worst thing I’ve ever seen,"Zei Smith, whose promotional efforts have helped many local organizations through raffles and donations. “We are all aware that there are issues with police brutality throughout the country and while I am extremely disappointed with the lack of prosecution following specific incidents, rioting only makes everything worse. I truly understand that emotions are at all-time highs in Baltimore and people want their voices to be heard but this is not the way to do it. Having worked with people from all walks of life, I wholeheartedly respect everybody’s point of view but I am pleading with the community as a whole to schedule peaceful and civilized meetings with city officials. This is the only way for everybody to get their thoughts and opinions out while hearing what the other side has to say. Riots are only going to tear apart and create further distance between police and citizens in this great city. I pray that everything calms down quickly and a resolution is met.”

Baltimore Boxing to invade Ocean City Convention Center May 9!

Baltimore, MD (April 10, 2015) – Jake Smith’s Baltimore Boxing Promotions returns to Ocean City, MD for “Beatdown at the Beach” Zaterdag, Mei 9 at the Ocean City Convention Center.

 

Tickets for “Beatdown at the Beach” from $25 are available on Ticketmaster.com and at the Convention Center Box Office.

 

“Ocean City is a great market and one I’ve enjoyed coming to every year,"Zei Smith. “There are a lot of great events taking place from May until August there and I’m glad that Baltimore Boxing is a part of it. We had a great turnout for our last few shows and am excited to see everybody on the 9th."

Welterweight Allen Burris is scheduled to risk his East Coast belt against an opponent to be announced and other bouts will be announced shortly.
