Dan Pasciolla looking to defend and win New Jersey State Heavyweight title this Friday against Quian Davis

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Mai 31, 2018) – Heavyweight Dan Pasciolla (9-3-3) won the New Jersey State Heavyweight title when he won a six-round unanimous decision over former world champion Imamu Mayfield on March 19, 2016.

 

 

 

Le 32 year-old native of Brick, New Jersey signed on to fight Quian Davis (4-0-2, 2 KOs) this Friday night at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, and was informed that the fight would be for the vacant title.

 

 

 

That was news to Pasciolla and his manager Rich Masini, as the pair believed that Pasciolla was still the champion.

 

 

 

“I have been waiting for a fight. I was in camp in Poland, and I am in better shape. My goal is to get in the ring, and show a different Dan Pasciolla,” said the 5-year veteran.

 

 

 

When asked about Davis, Pasciolla is ready for his undefeated opponent.

 

 

 

“I know he did not have much of an amateur career. He is just another guy that I will be getting into the ring with. Experience plays a factor, and I bring much more than thaton Friday. J'ai travaillé dur, and things are coming together,”

 

 

 

Pasciolla is not letting the fact the he is already fighting for a belt that he already owns get in the way of his preparation.

 

 

 

“I am not sure why there is a new title since I already am the champion, but I will walk out with 2 belts on Friday. It is very important because it represents my state, so it is a big deal to me. I do not do a lot of talking. I will do my talking between the ropes.”

 

 

 

“This is a funny and crazy business at times,” said Pasciolla’s manager , Rich Masini. “Dan beat Mayfield for the state title, It is even recognized on Boxrec.com, but somehow, I guess that doesn’t count anymore, but Dan will enter the ring with that belt, and apparently now we are fighting for the same title but a different belt. Undefeated Puerto Rican Bantamweight Manny Rodriguez Ready for Former World Champion Paul Butler This Saturday at 02 Arène

Bantamweight contender Emmanuel “Manny” Rodriguez and his team have landed safely and ready to face former world champion Paul “Baby Faced Assassin” Butler for the vacant IBF World Championship, ce samedi, Mai 5, at the O2 Arena in London.

CARDIFF, PAYS DE GALLES (Mars 31, 2018) - Le champion du monde poids lourd invaincu et unifié Anthony Joshua a parcouru la distance pour la première fois de sa carrière, Surclassant le champion précédemment invaincu Joseph Parker lors d'un combat d'unification des poids lourds samedi sur SHOWTIME à Cardiff, Pays de Galles.

Joshua, champion du monde poids lourd IBF et WBA (21-0, 20 KOs) a ajouté le titre WBO de Parker à son manteau avec un 118-110, 118-110, et 119-109 décision unanime avant un record de fréquentation en salle de boxe de plus de 78,000 fans au stade de la Principauté.

«À travers les rondes 10, 11, 12, J'étais concentré. Je suis allé le 12 rounds et je l'ai combattu dur, mais c'était un travail léger. Ceci est la boxe. Ceci est ce que nous faisons. Joseph Parker est un champion du monde. Je savais qu'il allait être déterminé. Parfois c'est comme ça que ça se passe. Cela devient un combat de boxe tactique. Ça allait être une question de finesse, et j'ai contrôlé derrière le jab et utilisé la finesse.

"Nous ne pouvons pas oublier - je suis maintenant le champion unifié des poids lourds du monde."

Après le combat, Le journaliste de Sky Sports Andy Scott a demandé à Joshua s'il souhaitait affronter son compatriote invaincu WBC Heavyweight World Champion Deontay Wilder pour avoir la chance de devenir le champion incontesté des poids lourds du monde..

"Cent pour cent, 100 pour cent,”Joshua a répondu. «Vous me demandez, est-ce que je veux devenir le champion incontesté des poids lourds du monde? Le WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO. Vingt et un combats, six combats de championnat du monde. Je ne suis pas dans le battage médiatique. Je suis sur les affaires. Si, parlons affaires. CARDIFF, PAYS DE GALLES (Mars 28, 2018) - Les champions du monde poids lourds invaincus Anthony Joshua et Joseph Parker ont fait leur première apparition à Cardiff mercredi, travailler devant une salle comble de fans enthousiastes à St. David’s Hall à peine trois jours avant leur unification du championnat du monde des poids lourds ce samedi en direct sur Showtime.

 

 

La foule quasi pleine au National Concert Hall of Wales est un prélude à l'audience record attendue au Principality Stadium.Samedi où presque 80,000 les fans égaleront le record de présence en salle de tous les temps, initialement mis en 2017 dans la défense du titre de Joshua contre Carlos Takam au même endroit.

 

 

La télédiffusion SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING commence en direct à 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT du ring à Cardiff en tant que champion IBF et WBA Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) et le Champion WBO Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) se rencontrer lors de la deuxième unification entre les champions poids lourds invaincus de l'histoire.
