“FERIA de CAMPEONES” SANDOVAL, VAZQUEZ, AND SALAZAR WIN WBC TITLES IN AGUASCALIENTES, MX

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (April 30, 2018) – This past Saturday, Sugar Promotions gepresenteerd “FERIA de CAMPEONES”, an eleven bout card from Aguascalientes, Mexico. In het hoofdevenement van 12 ronden, super middengewicht Bruno Sandoval (20-2-1, 16 KO), who recently signed with Sugar Promotions, picked up a first round TKO over Devis Caceres (28-9-3, 19 KO) capturing the WBC Latino Silver Super Middleweight title in the process. SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 23, 2018) -Het afgelopen Zaterdag TMB & PRB Entertainment gepresenteerd, “Whose “De” Will Go”, another successful boxing event that took place at the Mi Mercado Event Center in San Antonio, TX.
In the 6-round main event, James Cantu (11-0, 4 KO), verslagen Jairo Castaneda (9-1, 3 KO), met eenparigheid van stemmen, to remain undefeated in the welterweight division. Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. Scorekaarten lezen 59-54 tweemaal, en 57-56, all in favor of Cantu, who recorded his second fight in four years.
The 4-round co-main event showcased Daniel “Da Beast” Baiz (13-1, 5 KO) tegen Isai Mireles (8-9, 6 KO). Baiz dropped Mireles with a left hook to the body in round two, before cruising to a unanimous decision victory. Scorekaarten lezen 40-35 across the board for Baiz.
San Antonio TV (KSAT) ABC’s local digital channel, aired the event live on devices such as Roku, Amazone, and Apple TV. Subscribers were able to watch the fights for free over the internet.

Met meer dan 50,000 subscribers, San Antonio TV is ABC’s local digital channel which can be viewed on devices such as Jaar, Amazone, en Apple TV. Subscribers can watch their live feeds for FREE. AGUASCALIENTES, MX (April 16, 2018) – Opponents have been announced for Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 13 KO) en Damien “Suiker” Vazquez (13-0, 7 KO), who are both scheduled to fight on April 28, 2018 in Aguascalientes, MX, op de “Feria de Campeones” kaart, gepromoot door Sugar Promotions.

 

 

 

Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, will face Columbian power puncher, Davis Caceres(25-8, 20 KO), in a 10-round main event bout, for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight title. Vazquez, van Las Vegas, NV, will battle Venezuela’s Luis Golindano (9-0, 6 KO), for the WBC Jr. Bantamweight Youth World title, in a 10-round co-main event clash.

 

 

 

In his last fight on the undercard of Victor Ortiz vs. Devon Alexander, Velazco scored an impressive 4th-round knockout over, Thomas Williams Jr. (20-4, 14KO), who was ranked top ten in the world one time. Velazco’s powerful straight left to the head of Williams ended the bout, and the punch was the knockout of the night. HUMBERTO “TITO” VELAZCO SCORES SENSATIONAL KNOCKOUT IN EL PASO, TX

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Februari 19, 2018) – Het afgelopen Zaterdag, in het Don Haskins Center in El Paso, TX, Sugar Promotions light-heavyweight prospect, Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 14 KO), scored the knockout of the night, tegen Thomas “Top hond” Williams Jr. (20-4, 14 KO).
Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mexico, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches. Williams survived once again only to be stopped in round four when Velazco, a heavy-handed southpaw, blasted him with a straight left, dwingt de scheidsrechter om de wedstrijd te stoppen bij de 1:37 mark.

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 24, 2017) – Unbeaten super-flyweight prospect, Damien “Suiker” Vazquez (11-0, 6 KO), makes his return to the ring on Oktober 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Dit gevecht, scheduled for 8-rounds, will mark the third time this year that Vazquez will have stepped in the ring, as he looks to extend on is winning streak. An opponent will be announced shortly.
“It’s a good feeling knowing that I’ll be back in the ring after I just fought a few weeks ago.” said Vazquez. “My last fight happened on August 31st and I feel great. Camp has started and I’m going to be ready for anyone my management team puts in front of me. I’m going to Mexico once again to mark my territory. Co-trained by former world champion, Clarence “Bones” Adams, Damien Vazquez is the younger brother of former two-time super-bantamweight world champion, Israël Vazquez, who also serves as his co-trainer. SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 25, 2017) – Het afgelopen Zaterdag at the Alamodome, in San Antonio, TX, super-weltergewicht vooruitzicht, Daniel “Het Beest” Baiz (10-1, 5 KO), scored a victory against Yunier Calzada (6-2-1, 1 KO), in a hard fought 4-round slugfest. Beheerd door Prince Ranch Boxing’s Greg Hannley, Baiz showed his hometown fans why he is must watch boxing.
Toe-to-toe action commenced from the opening bell as both Biaz and his opponent Calzada, went right at each other. Biaz, a southpaw, was throwing hard punches, landing his signature straight left throughout the entire fight, in addition to his powerful right hooks. Calzada, stood his ground, but was getting beat to the punch. Calzada had his moments, but was outworked by Biaz, who was determined to come out victorious in front of his hometown fans. The fight was fought in a phone-booth for four rounds and the fans were thrilled to see these two warriors go at it. Aan het einde, Biaz came out on top as the score cards read 39-37 tweemaal, en 40-36, all in favor of Daniel.

Calzada was a very tough opponent but I wasn’t going to be denied in front of all my family and friends. I know with hard work, I can put myself in a great position to land a big fight.’
