“FERIA de CAMPEONES” SANDOVAL, VAZQUEZ, AND SALAZAR WIN WBC TITLES IN AGUASCALIENTES, MX

Aguascalientes, MX (Ebrill 30, 2018) – This past Saturday, siwgr Hyrwyddiadau presented “FERIA de CAMPEONES”, an eleven bout card from Aguascalientes, Mecsico. In the 12-round main event, ganol super Bruno Sandoval (20-2-1, 16 Kos), who recently signed with Sugar Promotions, picked up a first round TKO over Devis Caceres (28-9-3, 19 Kos) capturing the WBC Latino Silver Super Middleweight title in the process. A powerful right hook landed flush on the face of Caceres, yn dod i ben yr ornest yn y 2:50 marc y rownd gyntaf, as Sandoval claimed the vacant title in style.

 

 

 

 

“It means a lot to have won this fight by knockout and the fact it was for a WBC title makes it even better,” said Bruno Sandoval, who took the fight on late notice. “I am a complete fighter that can challenge anyone in my division right now! I am excited for what the future holds.”

 

 

 

 

The co-main event saw Damien “Siwgr” Vazquez (14-0, 7 Kos) pick up a ten round unanimous decision win over Luis Golindano (9-1, 6 Kos). The fight was close in the beginning as the two unbeaten fighters showed that neither wanted to taste defeat, but Vasquez began to pull away with his superior boxing skill as he claimed the WBC Youth super flyweight world title. Scorecards read 97-92 ddwywaith ac 96-93, all in favor of Vazquez.

 

 

 

 

“I am overjoyed to have won this title and beyond that, I am happy to have been able to do it against a tough and hungry undefeated fighter,” said Damien Vazquez. “My opponent was very talented and really brought the best out of me. I’m looking forward to my next fight as I march up the rankings.”

 

Maryan Salazar (8-2) picked up a unanimous decision over Joselyn Casilla Martinez (4-3-1) to capture the CLlC FECOMBOX light flyweight title. Salazar dominated this bout from start to finish to claim the title. Scorecards read 98-92, 98-91, 99-91 all in favor of Salazar.

CANTU REMAINS UNDEFEATED

In the 6-round main event, James Cantu (11-0, 4 Kos), trechu Jairo Castaneda (9-1, 3 Kos), drwy benderfyniad unfrydol, to remain undefeated in the welterweight division. Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. Scorecards read 59-54 ddwywaith, ac 57-56, all in favor of Cantu, who recorded his second fight in four years.
The 4-round co-main event showcased Daniel “Da Beast” Baiz (13-1, 5 Kos) yn erbyn Isai Mireles (8-9, 6 Kos). Baiz dropped Mireles with a left hook to the body in round two, before cruising to a unanimous decision victory. Scorecards read 40-35 across the board for Baiz.
San Antonio TV (KSAT) ABC’s local digital channel, aired the event live on devices such as Roku, Amazon, and Apple TV. Subscribers were able to watch the fights for free over the internet.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Ebrill 18, 2018) – TMB & PRB Entertainment is pleased to announce its partnership with San Antonio TV, an ABC affiliate in San Antonio, TX, which will air all its boxing shows on their digital channel.

The first boxing show to air live on the platform will be this weekend’s Whose “Y” Must Go card, taking place at the Mi Mercado Event Center yn San Antonio, TX on April 28, 2018.

“When I was in Las Vegas for Lara vs. Hurd, I had a great sparring session with former world champion Ishe Smith, who is an accomplished fighter,” said Daniel Baiz. “Smith was impressed with my work, and I know if I continue to work hard in the gym, I’ll be ready to fight for a regional title soon. I have a tough fight with Mireles on Saturday, so that’s where my focus is right now.”

Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, will face Columbian power puncher, Davis Caceres(25-8, 20 Kos), in a 10-round main event bout, for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight title. Vazquez, o Las Vegas, NV, will battle Venezuela’s Luis Golindano (9-0, 6 Kos), for the WBC Jr. Bantamweight Youth World title, in a 10-round co-main event clash.

 

 

 

In his last fight on the undercard of Victor Ortiz vs. Dyfnaint Alexander, Velazco scored an impressive 4fed-round knockout over, Thomas Williams Jr. (20-4, 14Kos), who was ranked top ten in the world one time. Damien Vazquez, oed 20, will be looking to make a statement against Luis Golindano.

Against Miguel Lizardo in his last fight, Vazquez scored a 5fed round TKO. Damien, who is the younger brother of former two-time world champion Israel Vazquez, has been training in Aguascalientes for the last two weeks.

HUMBERTO “TITO” VELAZCO SCORES SENSATIONAL KNOCKOUT IN EL PASO, TX

Aguascalientes, MX (Chwefror 19, 2018) – Mae hyn yn y gorffennol Dydd Sadwrn, yn y Don Haskins Center yn El Paso, TX, siwgr Hyrwyddiadau light-heavyweight prospect, Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 14 Kos), scored the knockout of the night, erbyn Thomas “Top Cŵn” Williams Jr. (20-4, 14 Kos).
Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mecsico, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches. Williams survived once again only to be stopped in round four when Velazco, a heavy-handed southpaw, blasted him with a straight left, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 1:37 marc.
“It was a great feeling to get a knockout in my first fight in the united states,” said Humberto Velazco, sy'n cael ei reoli gan Greg Hannley of Prince Ranch Boxing. “When I got up from the knockdown I wasn’t hurt, but it definitely woke me up. A genetic freak, Velaszco stands slightly over 6″1, and has a rare combination of speed and power. His athletic pedigree runs in the family as his brother is a professional basketball player.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Medi 24, 2017) – Unbeaten super-flyweight prospect, Damien “Siwgr” Vazquez (11-0, 6 Kos), makes his return to the ring on Hydref 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mecsico. Mae'r frwydr, scheduled for 8-rounds, will mark the third time this year that Vazquez will have stepped in the ring, as he looks to extend on is winning streak. An opponent will be announced shortly.
“It’s a good feeling knowing that I’ll be back in the ring after I just fought a few weeks ago.” said Vazquez. “My last fight happened on August 31st and I feel great. Camp has started and I’m going to be ready for anyone my management team puts in front of me. I’m going to Mexico once again to mark my territory. Co-trained by former world champion, Clarence “Bones” Adams, Damien Vazquez is the younger brother of former two-time super-bantamweight world champion, Israel Vazquez, who also serves as his co-trainer. Bones and Israel train Vazquez at the Prince Ranch Bocsio gym in Las Vegas. Prince Ranch Boxing’s Greg Hannley, co-manages Damien with his father, Oscar Vazquez. DANIEL “THE BEAST” BAIZ GET’S 10TH WIN IN CROWD PLEASING SLUG-FEST

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Medi 25, 2017) – Mae hyn yn y gorffennol Dydd Sadwrn at the Alamodome, yn San Antonio, TX, gobaith super-pwysau welter, Daniel “The Beast” Baiz (10-1, 5 Kos), scored a victory against Yunier Calzada (6-2-1, 1 KO), in a hard fought 4-round slugfest. Toe-to-toe action commenced from the opening bell as both Biaz and his opponent Calzada, went right at each other. Biaz, a southpaw, was throwing hard punches, landing his signature straight left throughout the entire fight, in addition to his powerful right hooks. Calzada, stood his ground, but was getting beat to the punch. Calzada had his moments, but was outworked by Biaz, who was determined to come out victorious in front of his hometown fans. The fight was fought in a phone-booth for four rounds and the fans were thrilled to see these two warriors go at it. Yn y pen, Biaz came out on top as the score cards read 39-37 ddwywaith, ac 40-36, all in favor of Daniel.
“I’m just wanted to give my hometown fans a great show.” said Daniel Baiz, “This was my first time fighting at the Alamodome and it was a great experience. Calzada was a very tough opponent but I wasn’t going to be denied in front of all my family and friends. I know with hard work, I can put myself in a great position to land a big fight.’
