“FERIA de CAMPEONES” SANDOVAL, VAZQUEZ, AND SALAZAR WIN WBC TITLES IN AGUASCALIENTES, MX

Aguascalientes, MX (Aprel 30, 2018) – This past Saturday, Sugar Promotions presented “FERIA de CAMPEONES”, an eleven bout card from Aguascalientes, Meksika. 12 dəyirmi əsas hadisə, super middleweight Bruno Sandoval (20-2-1, 16 Kos), who recently signed with Sugar Promotions, picked up a first round TKO over Devis Caceres (28-9-3, 19 Kos) capturing the WBC Latino Silver Super Middleweight title in the process. “It means a lot to have won this fight by knockout and the fact it was for a WBC title makes it even better,” said Bruno Sandoval, who took the fight on late notice. “I am a complete fighter that can challenge anyone in my division right now! I am excited for what the future holds.”

 

 

 

 

The co-main event saw Damien “Şəkər” Vazquez (14-0, 7 Kos) pick up a ten round unanimous decision win over louis qolindano (9-1, 6 Kos). The fight was close in the beginning as the two unbeaten fighters showed that neither wanted to taste defeat, but Vasquez began to pull away with his superior boxing skill as he claimed the WBC Youth super flyweight world title. CANTU REMAINS UNDEFEATED

In the 6-round main event, James Cantu (11-0, 4 Kos), məğlub Jairo Castaneda (9-1, 3 Kos), yekdil qərarı ilə, to remain undefeated in the welterweight division. Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. Scorecards read 59-54 iki dəfə, və 57-56, all in favor of Cantu, who recorded his second fight in four years.
The 4-round co-main event showcased Daniel “Da Canavar” Baiz (13-1, 5 Kos) qarşı Isai Mireles (8-9, 6 Kos). Baiz dropped Mireles with a left hook to the body in round two, before cruising to a unanimous decision victory. Scorecards read 40-35 across the board for Baiz.

In his last fight on the undercard of Victor Ortiz vs. Devon Alexander, Velazco scored an impressive 4ci-round knockout over, Thomas Williams Jr. (20-4, 14Kos), who was ranked top ten in the world one time. Velazco’s powerful straight left to the head of Williams ended the bout, and the punch was the knockout of the night. HUMBERTO “TITO” VELAZCO SCORES SENSATIONAL KNOCKOUT IN EL PASO, TX

Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Meksika, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches. Williams survived once again only to be stopped in round four when Velazco, a heavy-handed southpaw, blasted him with a straight left, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the 1:37 işarə.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Sentyabr 24, 2017) – Unbeaten super-flyweight prospect, Damien “Şəkər” Vazquez (11-0, 6 Kos), makes his return to the ring on Oktyabr 14, 2017, at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Meksika. Co-trained by former world champion, Clarence “Bones” Adams, Damien Vazquez is the younger brother of former two-time super-bantamweight world champion, İsrail Vazquez, who also serves as his co-trainer. Toe-to-toe action commenced from the opening bell as both Biaz and his opponent Calzada, went right at each other. Biaz, bir solak, was throwing hard punches, landing his signature straight left throughout the entire fight, in addition to his powerful right hooks. Calzada, stood his ground, but was getting beat to the punch. Calzada had his moments, but was outworked by Biaz, who was determined to come out victorious in front of his hometown fans. The fight was fought in a phone-booth for four rounds and the fans were thrilled to see these two warriors go at it.
