LOS ANGELES – Bellator, a leading global combat sports franchise owned by Viacom, home to the world’s premier entertainment brands, and DAZN, the world’s largest dedicated live sports streaming service and part of Perform Group, today announced a multi-year landmark distribution agreement.

 

 

 

The nine-figure deal will feature seven exclusive stacked fight cards per year on DAZN and another 15 that are simulcast across Paramount Network and DAZN. All fights will stream in any country where DAZN is available. As part of the platform’s global expansion, DAZN will launch in the U.S. and Italy in 2018, with the service already live in Canada, Jerman, Austria, Switzerland and Japan.

The deal begins with an epic event on Hari Sabtu, Tujuh. 29 from SAP Center at San Jose. The card features a highly anticipated middleweight title fight pitting Gegard Mousasi (44-6-2) terhadap Rory MacDonald (20-4), who is moving up a weight class for a title shot against the 185-pound champ, along with the fourth fight in the legendary rivalry between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (37-13) dan Wanderlei Silva(35-13).

 

 

 

Also included on Tujuh. 29, will be the opening fight of Bellator’s first-ever Welterweight World Grand Prix, which will feature eight of the best welterweight fighters on the planet. A six-fight veteran of Bellator, “Rampage” Jackson’s legendary career has seen him compete against some of the top names in the sport, generating a loyal army of fans along the way. The former PRIDE and UFC champion is the proud owner of many epic highlight reel slams and knockouts that he has racked up throughout his epic battles with the likes of Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson, “King Mo,” Kevin Randleman and, perhaps most-notably, his trilogy with fellow Bellator athlete Wanderlei Silva, who he now meets at heavyweight on Tujuh. 29.

 

 

Wanderlei Silva’s wars with “Rampage,” Tito Ortiz, Mirko Cro Cop, Vitor Belfort, Dan Henderson, Kazushi Sakuraba, Chuck Liddell and Michael Bisping remain some of the more memorable bouts in MMA history. “The Axe Murderer” is far from ready to close the book on his illustrious career, returning to action against a man he has already competed against three times before. LOS ANGELES – Bellator is proud to announce that reality star turned MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers (3-0) will make his promotional debut on the main card of historic Bellator 200 terhadap Ash Griffiths (4-5) at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Hari Jumat, Mei 25.

Fighting out of Newcastle, Inggris, Chalmers steps inside the Bellator cage following three first-round stoppage victories under the direction of BAMMA. Chalmers is a well-known cast member of MTV’s British reality television series “Geordie Shore,” having appeared for 10 seasons beginning in 2014, as well as MTV’s “Ex on the Beach.” He would go on to make his MMA debut in 2017, winning his first bout via submission in the first round. “The Joker” has since defeated two other opponents in under a minute and now looks to take the next step in his professional career.

Griffiths turned pro in 2013, fighting regionally in England, prior to making his debut with Bellator last year during the main card of Bellator 191 di Newcastle. LOS ANGELES – Bellator is pleased to announce its anticipated return to London for Bellator 200 pada tanggal Hari Jumat, Mei 25. The landmark event will emanate from The SSE Arena, Wembley and will air on Paramount Network.

 

The first two fights, of what promises to be one of the most exciting event in company history, features middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho (15-1) defending his crown against Gegard Mousasi (43-6-2) and the return of London’s own Michael "Venom" Halaman (12-0), yang mengambil David "The Caveman" Rickels (19-4, 2 NC). Quietly flying under the radar as Bellator’s current longest-reigning champion, Rafael Carvalho receives his toughest challenge to date when he meets Mousasi in London. A product of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Carvalho joined the Bellator roster in 2014, garnering the attention of fans who tuned into Bellator 125 by emphatically finishing Brian Rogers in the first round. The run hasn’t stopped there, as the 31-year-old has gone onto defeat Joe Schilling, Alessio Sakara, Melvin Manhoef (2x) and Brandon Halsey, tying the record for most title defenses in the division’s history in the process.

'KING MO' BERTEMU LIAM MCGEARY DALAM ACARA CO-MAIN LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT DI MOHEGAN SUN ARENA

LOS ANGELES - Setelah penandatanganan Bellator baru-baru ini, Gegard Mousasi (42-6-2) akan melakukan debut promosinya melawan mantan juara Alexander Shlemenko (56-9, 1 NC) pada tanggal Hari Jumat, Bulan Oktober 20 di Bellator 185: Mousasi vs.. Shlemenko, sebuah acara yang berlangsung di Mohegan Sun Arena di Uncasville, Conn.

Tambahan lagi, acara utama bersama Bellator 185: Mousasi vs.. Shlemenko akan menampilkan adu domba kelas berat ringan “King Mo” Lawal (21-6, 1 NC) melawan mantan pemegang gelar Liam McGeary (12-2). Pertandingan kartu utama dan awal tambahan akan diumumkan dalam beberapa minggu mendatang.

Acara ini akan disiarkan langsung dan gratis di SPIKE di 9 p.m. DAN/8 p.m. CT, sementara tindakan pendahuluan akan mengalir di Bellator.com dan Aplikasi Seluler Bellator. LOS ANGELES — Bellator MMA is proud to announce the signing of perennial top contender Gegard Mousasi untuk eksklusif, kontrak multi-pertarungan.

 

Sudah lama dianggap sebagai salah satu ancaman dua divisi elit di MMA, Mousasi joins Bellator currently riding a five-fight win streak that includes recent knockout victories over two former world champions in Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort. Sebelum masa jabatannya di UFC, Mousasi merebut gelar kelas berat ringan STRIKEFORCE, serta gelar kelas berat ringan dan menengah DREAM di Jepang. The signing sees Mousasi rejoin Bellator President Scott Coker following his successful run with STRIKEFORCE from 2009-2013.
