Atlantic City, NJ (Jún 8, 2017)–Welterweight contender, Tomáš “Cornflake” Lamanna feels that he is on the brink of a breakthrough win, and he is looking to fight a big name later this Summer that will help catapult himself up the rankings, and on his way to a world title shot.

“I am looking forward to a great fight on Saturday. I am not taking Velasquez lightly as he is a tough veteran who has had 54 boja,” povedal Lamanna. “After I win, I want something big. Atlantic City is a great fight town, and I think that we can bring the type of bouts back to the boardwalk that made this town the mecca of boxing that it once was. I think a fight with a big name opponent later this Summer would create great buzz in the Atlantic City boxing scene, and it would keep me moving towards my goal of being a world champion.”

Since suffering his only professional blemish, the 28 year-old Pham of Atlantic City, New Jersey has stopped his two previous opponents.
Pham believes he will only get better as his trainer, Chuck Eisenbeis will be back in his corner after being absent from Pham’s last couple of bouts.
“It is good to have him back. He taught me everything that I know,” said Pham. “We have been working on footwork, and my jab. I have seen the improvement everyday. Chuck has been working with some UFC fighters and it is great to have him back.”
In Perez he is taking on a durable fighter, who has faced many top prospects, 13 undefeated fighters and a world champion in Jermall Charlo.
“He is a Puerto Rican. I know he is tough as I am Puerto Rican as well. On má 27 boja, so that is three-times more than I have. He is experienced and he goes rounds for the most part. I have seen some film where can be slick, so I have to be cautious of that. I have been working hard, so I am confident that I will get the job done.”

“My camp has been great. Sosa is a late-replacement, but that really does not matter, because I was preparing for whoever,”povedal 29 year-old Young.
Young knows that Sosa is a big puncher, but feels he is a different fighter outside of his home-country of the Dominican Republic.

Young is in a camp that includes recent world champion Jason Sosa, top contender Tevin Farmer and lightweight contender Michael Perez among others, and Young feels that the switch of trainers, which mirrors this win streak is no coincidence.
“Chino has fixed a lot of my bad habits. He has me working on the jab, pivoting, and working the body. Since moving to Chino, I have improved with every fight.”
This will be the 10th appearance on the Boardwalk for Young, and he will look to his mark to 9-1 v Atlantic City (Young is 2-0 v The Claridge).

Sosa of New Jersey has a record of 15-8 with all 15 wins coming via knockout.
The 30 year-old Sosa is a six-year professional, who began his career in the Dominican Republic with six consecutive knockouts.
Sosa’s losses have come to fighters who had a combined record of 87-7-1 and they included Three undefeated fighters plus contenders Ray Robinson and Ed Peredes.
Sosa has won two consecutive bouts by knockout as in his most recent effort he stopped Jesus Pascual in three rounds on October 29, 2016 in the Domincan Republic.

Atlantic City, NJ (Marec 13, 2017)–Tento rok Sobota noc, welterweight Anthony “Juice” Young registered his 5th consecutive victory as he won an 8-round unanimous decision that highlighted a 7- bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The card was promoted by Rising promotions, which staged it’s 7th consecutive card in front of a capacity crowd at The Claridge.
“It’s bitter sweet knowing this was my last event. This show was a great way to end the #ACFightNight series. Awesome crowd, great fights and dramatic endings. It’s now time for me to focus on my fighting career and continue my path to become a world champion,” said Thomas LaManna of Rising Promotions.
Young controlled action against the tough veteran, and Young was able to win in shutout fashion by scores of 80-72 na všetkých kartách.
Young of Atlantic City raised his mark to 16-2. Amoako of Silver Spring, Maryland via Accra, Ghana is now 21-14.

Atlantic City, NJ (Marec 10, 2017)–Welterweight Anthony “Juice” Mladý bude mať na Samuel Amoako túto sobotu noc na The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

Mladý, 15-2 with six knockouts of Atlantic City will be looking for his 5th consecutive victory when he takes on Amoko (21-13, 14 KO) Accra, Ghana.
Amoako turned professional in 2005 with a victory over contender Albert Mensah (9-2-1). Amoako, 32 years-old is the former WBO African Lightweight champion Lightweight champion.
Amoako is coming off a 4-round unanimous decision loss to Sam Teah on August 6th in Bristol, PA.
“My training is good. It’s fight week, so I am just maintaining weight. I had a good camp working on my footwork. I sparred with Danny Garcia,” povedal Young.
The transition to Amoako was easy, as he was already sparring orthodox fighters, even thought original opponent Rogelio Casarez was a southpaw.
“I was sparring right handers anyway, and when Amoako came in, it was no big deal with the switch of the opponent.”
Vo svojom poslednom záchvate, Young was dominating James Robinson until the final round when he got caught and eventually knocked down. Young was able to get out of the round and hang on for the victory on January 20th.
“I leaned it’s boxing, and one punch can change the fight. I need to stay sharp for the whole fight and not get lackadaisical.”
In now his 18th bout, Young is taking a minor step up against a veteran who has fought 201 professional rounds.
“This is my first official 8-round bout. I plan to put on a great performance for the fans. I am grateful for Rising promotions. They gave me a opportunity to fight in front of my fans, and I am looking for them to keep it going.”

Barrett Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey has a pro boxing record of 4-0-2 s 4 priechodky, and will be making his return to the ring after being out of the squared circle for 11 mesiaca. In his last boxing match, he stopped Alando Pugh in 2 rounds in Atlantic City.
Barrett, who is an MMA veteran of 19 fights last fought in the cage on September 23rd.
“Everything is going well,”Said Barrett. “My focus has been on boxing, and since my last boxing match, I have been focusing more on strength and conditioning plus my diet. Fans will see a bigger version of me. You can really see the transformation as I been concentrating a lot on what I eat and meal prepping on my Facebook and Instagram accounts.”
In Donahue, he is facing a guy whose record reads just 3-13-3, but Donahue is known for his hard nosed style and is always a tough-out.
“Donahue is a tough guy. A brawler, and is a hard guy to stop”
The 11 month layoff was not something that Barrett wanted. He was scheduled to fight during the summer, but opponents have been hard to come by.
“I am always looking at opportunities to fight. I had 7 alebo 8 opponents fall through on me, so I took the MMA fight in September.”
Going back and forth between boxing isn’t a problem for Barrett as he has a gameplan on how he bides his time between the 2 sports.
“It all depends on the opportunity. I make more money in MMA, but I am very interested in boxing. After this fight there could be some boxing opportunities in China, so I am still gathering all the information on that.”
This will be Barrett’s 3rd consecutive fight on the boardwalk, and that is conducive for his fans in Little Egg Harbor, which is just up the coast on the Jersey Shore.
“My job is to fight, but it is always great to have the fans and support. When the bell rings, It’s only me and him in there, but to have my fans there gives me more motivation. I am looking for an exciting and explosive fight v sobotu.”

Pham of Pleasantville, New Jersey má rekord 7-1 s 3 priechodky, and is coming off an explosive 2nd round stoppage over Jose Valderrama on January 28th v The Claridge.

Fields is a late-replacement, so that took some last minute studying for Pham.
