Atlantic City, NJ (Giugno 8, 2017)–Welterweight contender, Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna feels that he is on the brink of a breakthrough win, and he is looking to fight a big name later this Summer that will help catapult himself up the rankings, and on his way to a world title shot.
Questo Sabato notte a The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City, he first must get through 54-fight veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez in the eight-round main event of a card promoted by Rising Promotions.
LaManna, 22-2 with nine knockouts of Millville, New Jersey, will be looking for his 2nd consecutive win, and a win over Velasquez would set up a coveted fight with highly thought of foe.
I am looking forward to a great fight on Saturday. I am not taking Velasquez lightly as he is a tough veteran who has had 54 combattimenti,” ha detto Lamanna. “Dopo che ho vinto, I want something big. Myself and Rising Promotions have regional title bouts in mind. Fights with Zab Judah and Kermit Cintron have been brought up. The ultimate goal is to get world rated, and climb up the ladder with meaningful fights that I would like to take place in Atlantic City.
Because I have two losses, I get calls all the time to be an opponent. I don’t look at myself as being one. I am one of the biggest, if not the biggest tickets seller in New Jersey, with a tremendous fan base, and myself and my Rising Promotions team would like to capitalize on that and move me along like a real promotional company is supposed to move a fighter. Atlantic City is a great fight town, and I think that we can bring the type of bouts back to the boardwalk that made this town the mecca of boxing that it once was. I think a fight with a big name opponent later this Summer would create great buzz in the Atlantic City boxing scene, and it would keep me moving towards my goal of being a world champion.

Since suffering his only professional blemish, il 28 year-old Pham of Atlantic City, New Jersey has stopped his two previous opponents.
Pham believes he will only get better as his trainer, Chuck Eisenbeis will be back in his corner after being absent from Pham’s last couple of bouts.
It is good to have him back. He taught me everything that I know,” said Pham. “We have been working on footwork, and my jab. I have seen the improvement everyday. Chuck has been working with some UFC fighters and it is great to have him back.
In Perez he is taking on a durable fighter, who has faced many top prospects, 13 undefeated fighters and a world champion in Jermall Charlo.
He is a Puerto Rican. I know he is tough as I am Puerto Rican as well. Egli ha 27 combattimenti, so that is three-times more than I have. He is experienced and he goes rounds for the most part. I have seen some film where can be slick, so I have to be cautious of that. I have been working hard, so I am confident that I will get the job done.
With a win, Pham can see himself getting into contention for some regional title opportunities.
A win will set me up for a step up fight. I will discuss that with my manager after this fight. I am happy where I am at as this will be the 3rd fight this year for me and this is by far the busiest stretch of my career. I am looking to impress the fans and keep doubling the expectations with each fight. This will be a top-shelf performance. I want to stop this guy. I don’t go in looking for it, but if I see that I have him staggered or hurt, I will try to get him out of there.

My camp has been great. Sosa is a late-replacement, but that really does not matter, because I was preparing for whoever,”detto il 29 year-old Young.
Young knows that Sosa is a big puncher, but feels he is a different fighter outside of his home-country of the Dominican Republic.
Sosa has 15 vittorie, and I know he has all of his victories by knockout. But he was matched lightly when he fought in the Dominican Republic. It doesn’t matter what he will bring, because I have been preparing for him like he is Floyd Mayweather.

Young is in a camp that includes recent world champion Jason Sosa, top contender Tevin Farmer and lightweight contender Michael Perez among others, and Young feels that the switch of trainers, which mirrors this win streak is no coincidence.
Chino has fixed a lot of my bad habits. He has me working on the jab, pivoting, and working the body. Since moving to Chino, I have improved with every fight.

Atlantic City, NJ (Marzo 8, 2017)–Imbattuto dei pesi massimi Brendan Barrett returns to the boxing questo Sabato notte al Claridge Hotel a Atlantic City.
Barrett will take on Philly tough guy Brian Donahue in a bout scheduled for 4-rounds.
The Show is promoted by Rising Promotions.
Barrett di Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey has a pro boxing record of 4-0-2 con 4 ko, and will be making his return to the ring after being out of the squared circle for 11 mesi. In his last boxing match, he stopped Alando Pugh in 2 rounds in Atlantic City.
Barrett, who is an MMA veteran of 19 fights last fought in the cage on 23 settembre.
Everything is going well,”ha dichiarato Barrett. “My focus has been on boxing, and since my last boxing match, I have been focusing more on strength and conditioning plus my diet. Fans will see a bigger version of me. You can really see the transformation as I been concentrating a lot on what I eat and meal prepping on my Facebook and Instagram accounts.
In Donahue, he is facing a guy whose record reads just 3-13-3, but Donahue is known for his hard nosed style and is always a tough-out.
Donahue is a tough guy. A brawler, and is a hard guy to stop
Il 11 month layoff was not something that Barrett wanted. He was scheduled to fight during the summer, but opponents have been hard to come by.
I am always looking at opportunities to fight. I had 7 o 8 opponents fall through on me, so I took the MMA fight in September.
Going back and forth between boxing isn’t a problem for Barrett as he has a gameplan on how he bides his time between the 2 sports.
It all depends on the opportunity. I make more money in MMA, but I am very interested in boxing. After this fight there could be some boxing opportunities in China, so I am still gathering all the information on that.
This will be Barrett’s 3rd consecutive fight on the boardwalk, and that is conducive for his fans in Little Egg Harbor, which is just up the coast on the Jersey Shore.
My job is to fight, but it is always great to have the fans and support. When the bell rings, It’s only me and him in there, but to have my fans there gives me more motivation. I am looking for an exciting and explosive fight il Sabato.”
I want to thank my sponsors which are Sweet Jenny’s in Barnegat, The Law Offices of Paulie Haberman, Adventure Vapors in Manahawkin and Eric Sauer of Natural Pharmacy.

Atlantic City, NJ (Marzo 7, 2017)–Super medi Gabriel Pham will look for his 2nd consecutive impressive performance when he takes on Chauncey Fields in the co-feature bout of a 9 carte di incontro questo Sabato notte al Claridge Hotel a Atlantic City.
The Show is promoted by Rising Promotions.
Pham of Pleasantville, New Jersey ha un record di 7-1 con 3 ko, and is coming off an explosive 2nd round stoppage over Jose Valderrama on January 28th at The Claridge.
“Tutto è stato grande,”said Pham.I am getting sharp, and working on my quickness and reflexes. “I have been training the whole time. I went right back in the gym on the Lunedi after my last fight.
Fields is a late-replacement, so that took some last minute studying for Pham.
“So che è 4-1, so he knows how to win, but I am ready to fight anyone. After the loss that I suffered, I can’t be picky on who I am fighting.
After dropping a unanimous decision to Christopher Brooker on July 9, 2016, Pham has been working very hard to continue on the winning track.
I have been doing a lot more roadwork and sparring. Da 2010, I have had only 4 combattimenti, so the sparring has been helping getting the rust off. Things are coming along and I am on my way.
This fight should not be the toughest fight, but am expecting it to be. I am just looking to sticking to the gameplan, which is hit and not be hit, and everything should be good il Sabato. I just want to thank my manager Rich Masini, Rising Promotions and The Claridge.
