Atlantic City, New Jersey (Juin 8, 2017)–Welterweight, Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna feels that he is on the brink of a breakthrough win, and he is looking to fight a big name later this Summer that will help catapult himself up the rankings, and on his way to a world title shot.
Ce samedi nuit à Le Claridge Hôtel en Atlantic City, he first must get through 54-fight veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez in the eight-round main event of a card promoted by Rising Promotions.
LaManna, 22-2 with nine knockouts of Millville, New Jersey, will be looking for his 2nd consecutive win, and a win over Velasquez would set up a coveted fight with highly thought of foe.
I am looking forward to a great fight on Saturday. I am not taking Velasquez lightly as he is a tough veteran who has had 54 combats,” dit LaManna. “Après j'ai gagné, I want something big. Myself and Rising Promotions have regional title bouts in mind. Fights with Zab Judah and Kermit Cintron have been brought up. The ultimate goal is to get world rated, and climb up the ladder with meaningful fights that I would like to take place in Atlantic City.
Because I have two losses, I get calls all the time to be an opponent. I don’t look at myself as being one. I am one of the biggest, if not the biggest tickets seller in New Jersey, with a tremendous fan base, and myself and my Rising Promotions team would like to capitalize on that and move me along like a real promotional company is supposed to move a fighter. Atlantic City is a great fight town, and I think that we can bring the type of bouts back to the boardwalk that made this town the mecca of boxing that it once was. I think a fight with a big name opponent later this Summer would create great buzz in the Atlantic City boxing scene, and it would keep me moving towards my goal of being a world champion.

I am looking to impress the fans and keep doubling the expectations with each fight. This will be a top-shelf performance. I want to stop this guy. Young is in a camp that includes recent world champion Jason Sosa, top contender Tevin Farmer and lightweight contender Michael Perez among others, and Young feels that the switch of trainers, which mirrors this win streak is no coincidence.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Mars 7, 2017)–Super- Gabriel Pham will look for his 2nd consecutive impressive performance when he takes on Champs Chauncey in the co-feature bout of a 9 carte de combat ce samedi nuit au Claridge Hôtel à Atlantic City.
Le spectacle est promu par Rising Promotions.
Pham of Pleasantville, New Jersey a un dossier de 7-1 avec 3 KO, and is coming off an explosive 2nd round stoppage over Jose Valderrama on January 28th au Claridge.
“Tout a été super,”said Pham.I am getting sharp, and working on my quickness and reflexes. “I have been training the whole time. I went right back in the gym on the Lundi after my last fight.
Fields is a late-replacement, so that took some last minute studying for Pham.
“Je sais qu'il est 4-1, so he knows how to win, but I am ready to fight anyone. After the loss that I suffered, I can’t be picky on who I am fighting.
After dropping a unanimous decision to Christopher Brooker on July 9, 2016, Pham has been working very hard to continue on the winning track.
I have been doing a lot more roadwork and sparring. Depuis 2010, I have had only 4 combats, so the sparring has been helping getting the rust off. Things are coming along and I am on my way.
This fight should not be the toughest fight, but am expecting it to be. I am just looking to sticking to the gameplan, which is hit and not be hit, and everything should be good Samedi. I just want to thank my manager Rich Masini, Rising Promotions and The Claridge.
