I’m so excited about promoting this show, because I love great boxing and great fans and everyone knows that LA has some of the best,” האט סאַנטאַ קרוז. “Ivan Redkach and Argenis Mendez are always up for a fight. Mendez wants to get back in the championship ranks and Redkach wants to get to that same level. That makes for a good match. It’s also exciting for me to be able to work on a promotion with my family, the fighters from our gym and to be able to help my cousin, אַנטאַני, launch his career.
I’m very thankful for this opportunity to fight Argenis Mendez,” said Redkach. “He is a solid fighter, a professional and on May 2, we’ll both be ready to put on a show for our fans. I know that this victory will lead to even bigger fights. I’m very thankful to FS1, FOX Deportes and my friend Leo Santa Cruz for making this happen.
As a former world champion, I know that these are the kinds of fights that I have to win to stay in contention for another championship,” said Mendez. “Ivan Redkach is a tough fighter, but I will be prepared for victory on מייַ 2.”
It will be a family affair as Leo’s father, דזשאָסע, and brother, אַנטאַני, will work the corner for several of the fighters on the card that train at Who’s Next Boxing Academy in City of Industry, and former world champion Omar Figueroa will be on hand to cheer for his brother Brandon.

The Weslaco-native has stayed busy in 2016, picking up six victories, including five by way of stoppage before starting 2017 with a fourth-round stoppage of Raul Chirino in February.
Fighting out of San Luis Potosi, Mexico Saavedra made his U.S. debut in November of last year, winning a six round decision over Josue Morales in Texas. א פּראָ זינט 2014, Saavedra won four of his first five fights and has never been stopped in nine bouts heading into his television debut on מייַ 2.
Part of the fighting Santa Cruz family, the 20-year-old Santa Cruz enters this fight on a four-bout winning streak including a 2017 debut that saw him win a unanimous decision over Victor Torres in January. א פּראָ זינט 2015, Santa Cruz fights out of San Gabriel, California and will look to make it five straight wins on מייַ 2.

TUNICA, MS (מאַרץ 14, 2017) – מידדלעוועיגהט קאַנטענדער סערגיי דערעוויאַנטשענקאָ (10-0, 8 קאָס) remained unbeaten Tuesday night as he delivered a blistering fifth-round stoppage of previously undefeated Kemahl Russell (10-1, 8 קאָס) אין די הויפּט געשעעניש פון פּרעמיער באָקסינג טשאַמפּיאָנס TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 & באָקסינג טשאַמפּיאָנשיפּ on FOX Deportes from the Fitz Tunica Casino & Hotel in Tunica, מיסיסיפּי.
I was so happy to be back in the ring,” said Derevyanchenko. “I felt very good in there. Once I got going and sped it up, he couldn’t keep up with me. I’m ready to take on anyone.
The unbeaten Russian, who fights out of Brooklyn, was at a major height disadvantage against the six-foot Russell, who attempted to control the fight with his jab from a distance. This led to a slow-paced fight early, which seemed to favor the taller boxer.
Derevyanchenko would eventually find the distance as he used double left hooks and feints to work inside Russell’s jab. Round four saw the two men begin to exchange in more flurries dangerous on the inside, with Russell taking the brunt of the damage.
Now fully settled into the fight, Derevyanchenko began to unload in round five and connected on a huge straight right hand that rocked Russell’s head back and put his opponent in immediate peril. Derevyanchenko pounced on the opportunity and began landing big shots in succession until referee Bill Clancy jumped-in to stop the fight 1:06 into the fifth-round.
The co-main event of the night saw undefeated prospect אַהמעד עלביאַלי (15-0, 12 קאָס) make quick work of Brazil’s Jackson Junior (20-8, 19 קאָס) as he scored a first round knockout just1:33 סעקונדעס אין די ערשטער קייַלעכיק.
Elbiali was returning from a 14-month layoff after recovering from a broken hand, but he wasted no time trading big punches. Both men were aggressive early on and dealt big hooks from the opening bell.
Working off of his jab, Elbiali caught Junior in a defensive crouch and connected with a perfect overhand right to the temple that sent Junior to the canvas. Junior was able to get to his feet but was deemed unable to continue by the referee, who called a halt to the bout 1:33 אין די קייַלעכיק.
The opening bout of the telecast saw unbeaten prospect דזשאַמאָנטייַ קלאַרק (11-0, 7 קאָס) stop a game Gaku Takahashi (15-7-1, 7 קאָס) after seven rounds of action in their welterweight bout.
Cincinnati’s Clark survived an early stumbled as Takahashi connected with a jab that stunned and stumbled Clark midway through the first round. Clark was able to regain his footing and use his jab as his primary mode of attack.
The southpaw Clark began timing Takahashi with left hands and right hooks and was able to control the action each round. Takahashi attempted to match Clark’s punch output, specifically targeting his opponent to the body, but was unable to land enough clean blows.
Takahashi came out aggressive in round seven and initiated several big exchanges. It was Clark who got the better of these moments, hitting Takahashi with a big left hand late in the round that left his opponent temporarily stunned, although able to return to his corner. Takahashi’s corner had seen enough however and called an end to the fight at the end of the seventh round.

The unbeaten fighter defeated a slew of experienced contenders in 2015 with wins over Elvin Ayala, Alan Campa, Vladine Biosse and a thrilling third-round stoppage of Jessie Nicklow.
Representing Jamaica, Russell enters this bout unbeaten since turning pro in 2013. The 27-year-old made his name in his home country by winning the Jamaican version of די קאַנטענדער אין 2015 with a stoppage of Richard Holmes. Russell picked up two more victories in 2016, including a second round knockout of Henry Mercer in his U.S. debut in October.

An unbeaten prospect fight at home in Cincinnati, די “שטיל מערדער” Clark picked up two victories in 2016 over increasingly quality competition as he stopped Elvin Perez in six rounds and earned a unanimous decision over Edgar Ortega. The 22-year-old last fought in his hometown in 2015 when he recorded a second round TKO of Joe Wilson Jr.

His only losses were against fighters who were undefeated at the time. I’m expecting a rough fight, which should make for good television. Everyone should tune in because this is going to be a great fight with a lot of action.
I’m excited to be back in the main event on a great network like FS1 and FOX Deportes,” said Nguyen. “I know my career has had its ups and downs, but a win over Flores would bring me back to the top. Flores is young, hungry and undefeated. I once had that fear of losing, so I know what it will take to beat him. I would like to thank all of my fans and countrymen for their support and I will make them proud.

בעטהלעהעם, פּאַ. (ויגוסט 23, 2016) – ונדעפעאַטעד קאַלעב “זיס הענט” פאַבריק(14-0, 10 קאָס) dropped and dominated Colombia’s Juan De Angel (18-5-1, 17 קאָס) on his way to a unanimous decision victory Tuesday night in the main event of פּרעמיער באָקסינג טשאַמפּיאָנס TOETO-TOE TUESDAYS אויף פס1 און באָקסינג טשאַמפּיאָנשיפּ on FOX Deportes from Sands Bethlehem Events Center in Bethlehem, פּאַ.
The Nashville-native was able to keep his perfect record intact and was in control from start to finish of his first 10-round bout. Plant was patient in the early rounds, looking to find the distance against his power-punching opponent.
Plant’s offense began to break through in round three and in round four he caught De Angel lingering in the pocket and dropped him with a left hook. De Angel got to his feet but was never able to get his own offense going and spent much of the night trying to tie up the more aggressive Plant.
In the ninth round, a clash of heads caused a temporary halt in the action and saw Plant emerge with a cut on his head. Plant was able to battle through and and kept his momentum going throughout the remainder of the fight.
Plant was twice as accurate as De Angel and landed 30 percent of his punches compared to 15 percent from De Angel. The judges saw the bout the same and all scored it 100-89 after 10-rounds of super middleweight action.
The co-main event of the night saw a pair of Washington, ד.ק. welterweights do battle as דוד גרייַטאָן (15-1, 11 קאָס) earned a victory over previously unbeaten קאַרעעם מארטין (8-1-1, 3 קאָס) via a stoppage in the eighth and final round.
The southpaw Grayton pressed forward early and often, looking to disrupt Martin and keep him uncomfortable. Martin was sharp early on, especially with right hand counters. He was the more accurate fighter over the first three rounds, but the experience of Grayton began to take over.
As the fight went on, Grayton’s attack gained effectiveness and Martin appeared to wear down from the constant pace. Grayton out threw Martin 537 צו 308 and landed 172 punches to Martin’s 106.
Grayton took control of the fight in the sixth round, hurting Martin early with a blistering body attack and rocked him late in the round with crisp uppercuts. By round eight, Martin had faded and Grayton sensed his moment. A left hand to the body dropped Martin early, and while he beat the count, Grayton quickly pounced and delivered a flurry that caused referee Benjy Esteves Jr. צו האַלטן דעם קאַמף 41 סעקונדעס אין די קייַלעכיק.
Two-time Ecuadorian Olympian קאַרלאָס גאָנגאָראַ (6-0, 5 קאָס)started the telecast off with an impressive first round stoppage of previously unbeaten Ronald Mixon (7-1, 6 קאָס) in their light heavyweight clash.
Gongora wasted little time, feinting a right hook and following with a thudding overhand left that put Mixon on the mat immediately. The knockdown prompted referee Gary Rosato to wave off the count and stop the bout 1:16 אין דער ערשטער קייַלעכיק.
דאָ איז וואָס די Fighters האט צו זאָגן דינסטאג:
קאַלעב PLANT
It’s another win in the bag. I had bounce in my legs for all 10 ראָונדס. I was taking my time in there and I feel like I’m getting better each fight.
I’ll fight whoever my team has lined up for me. It feels great to win as a headliner. We’re going to get right back in the gym and get ready for another fight.
JUAN DE ANGEL
I felt the size difference in the ring. I trained for a southpaw and he came out righty. That caught me off guard. He was better tonight.
DAVID GRAYTON
I was very motivated to perform well coming off of my loss. I wanted it more tonight and I wanted to make a statement to get back to where I belong.
I knew I had him hurt late in the fight and I kept hitting him with left hands. I stepped it up and got him out of there.
I’m going to go back to the gym and train hard and wait for my next fight.
KAREEM MARTIN
I lost a little focus and he caught me with a good shot that led to the stoppage.
It was a good back and forth fight. We were both getting a lot of shots in. I just need to come back with more focus next time.
CARLOS GONGORA
I was prepared and I analyzed his style and how he would fight. I knew I just had to connect with the right punch.
I want to dedicate this victory to my family and my whole country. It was a pleasure to do it on FS1 and FOX Deportes.
I am going straight to the top and I appreciate this opportunity to show the world who I am.

NICE, קאַליף. (יולי 13, 2016) – Welterweight contender לעוואַן גהוואַמיטשאַוואַ (17-2-1, 13 קאָס) scored two knockdowns before stopping Breidis Prescott (29-8, 21 קאָס) in the seventh round of the main event דינסטיק נאַכט אויף פּרעמיער באָקסינג טשאַמפּיאָנס פינגער פונ פוס-צו-טאָו טועסדייַס אויף פס1 און באָקסינג טשאַמפּיאָנשיפּ on FOX Deportes from Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino in Nice, קאַליפאָרניאַ.
Ghvamichava outworked and outslugged Prescott, knocking him down in round four before knocking him down again in round seven and eventually forcing the stoppage. Prescott got off to a fast start, using his length and a strong right hand to dictate action in the first frame.
Prescott couldn’t keep up the work rate however, as Ghvamichava began to close the distance and created more toe-to-toe exchanges. אין קייַלעכיק פיר, Ghvamichava connected with a left hook and a right cross that dropped Prescott, who was able to beat the count and get back on his feet.
After the knockdown, Prescott attempted to revert to his round-one form by boxing and using his jab, but the persistent Ghvamichava kept working hard to get inside on the taller fighter. The hard work paid off in round seven when Prescott was severely staggered with a right hand before being sent to the canvas by a left hook.
Prescott was unable to recover as he beat the count narrowly but was on shaky ground. He hit the canvas two more times, both ruled pushes by the referee before a hard combination by Ghvamichava in the corner forced referee Michael Margado to stop the fight at 2:37 of round seven.
אין דער צייַט פון די סטאַפּידזש, Ghvamichava had thrown nearly 100 more punches than Prescott (495-397) and had out landed him 134 צו 110.
The co-main event of the night saw Marcos Hernandez (8-0, 2 קאָס) earn a unanimous decision in a competitive and entertaining eight-round super welterweight brawl against previously unbeaten טאמעס הילל (6-1, 1 קאָ).
Hernandez and Hill went back and forth from start to finish in the first eight round bout of either prospect’s career. Hill looked to dictate the action with his jab and body work, but it was Hernandez who had more success throughout the night with his left hand and various uppercuts.
The sixth round saw Hill lose a point early on in the round for a low blow. The deduction clearly increased the urgency in Hill who pressed forward, delivering the best action of the fight. Hill pushed the pace but Hernandez withstood the strong combinations and repeatedly caught Hill with strong left hands. Outside of staggering Hill once early in the seventh round, both fighters continued to throw hard punches all the way to the final bell.
The punch stats reflected the close nature of the fight as Hernandez out landed Hill 161 צו 157 while it was Hill who had the slight edge in accuracy, לאַנדינג 33 percent of his punches to 31 percent for Hernandez. Even without the point deduction, the judges still preferred Hernandez, who landed the more significant punches, and gave him the decision by scores of 79-72, 78-73 און 77-74.
The opening bout of the telecast saw middleweight prospect Malcolm McAllister (8-0, 8 קאָס) remain unbeaten with a stoppage victory over Gilberto Yoruba (7-3, 4 קאָס). Yoruba did not come out for the eighth and final round after McAllister dominated the first seven rounds of the fight.
McAllister controlled the fight by working off of his strong jab with powerful right hands and hooks to the body. Yoruba continued to come forward throughout the fight, wildly throwing numerous overhand rights looking to stun the undefeated prospect.
After staggering Yoruba several times in round four, McAllister really began to do damage when he teed off on Yoruba with multiple unanswered shots to close out the frame. The one-sided action showed in the punch stats as McAllister out landed Yoruba 184 צו 76 eventually leading to a frustrated Yoruba being deducted a point in round six for low blows.
