Em Sábado, Junho 24, 2017, professional boxing returns to Miami Beach as Warriors Boxing presents “Night of the Rising Stars 2” at the Deauville Beach Resort.
The second of Warriors Boxing’s series of Miami-area fights designed to develop local and international prospects, NORS 2 will feature popular and talented light heavyweight Robert Daniels Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs) of Miami looking to remain perfect in the light heavyweight division.
24-year-old southpaw light heavyweight Robert Daniels Jr. is the son of former cruiserweight world champion Robert “Preacherman” Daniels, the only Miami-born lutador to hold a major world title.
Daniels Jr. started boxing at 10 years old and went 64-6 as an amateur boxer. Among his many accolades, he won the Sunshine State Games twice, the State title twice, the Platinum Gloves, the Junior Olympic regionals.
A boxer/puncher with excellent counter-punching skills, Daniels is trained by former world champion John David Jackson.
Also scheduled for action are undefeated super welterweight John David “Pretty Boy” Martinez (6-0, 5 KOs) of Miami in a six-round battle; undefeated Miami welterweight Chris Velez (7-0-1, 4 KOs) em um redondo seis; and undefeated bantamweight Lawrence Newton (6-0, 4 KOs) of Boynton Beach, Florida, will fight a six-rounder.

World class boxing event to be shown around the world

Boca Raton, FL (Maio 17, 2017) – WBA number-4 ranked and WBO number-6 ranked junior middleweight Kanat Islam vai assumir Norberto Gonzalez in a battle for the WBO / NABO and WBA Intercontinental Junior Middleweight championships on noite de sexta-feira, May 26th at the beautiful Boca Raton Resort & Spa em Boca Raton, Florida.

Islam of Almaty, Kazakhstan has a record of 23-0 com 19 big knockouts.
O 32 year-old has built up a reputation of being an exciting fighter who is constantly going for the knockout.
Islam turned professional in 2012 after competing in the 2004 and winning a Bronze medal in the 2008 Jogos Olímpicos.
Islam started to gain recognition when he stopped Humberto Toledo (41-8-2) in the 1st round. He then scored impressive stoppage victories over Francisco Cordero (29-2) & Juan De Angel (16-3-1).

No June 3, the 45-year-old Briggs will bring a five-fight knockout streak into the ring as he attempts to make history by matching the likes of two-time world heavyweight champion George Foreman. The oldest heavyweight champion ever, Foreman won his final heavyweight championship at the age of 45.

Representing the boxing hotbed of Brooklyn, Briggs (60-6-1, 53 KOs) seeks the third heavyweight world title in his long and eventful career. Briggs became a world champion in 2006 when he scored a 12th round stoppage of Siarhei Liakhovich. Briggs has faced the best heavyweights in the world and won the lineal heavyweight world title from George Foreman in 1997. He also defeated Ray Mercer in 2005, in addition to world title challenges of Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko. He enters this fight as the winner of his last nine contests, including eight knockouts and a 12-round decision over Raphael Zumbano Love.
Originally from Puerto Rico and fighting out of Chicago throughout his pro career, Oquendo (37-8, 24 KOs)looks to capitalize on his fourth opportunity and capture a world title. The slick-boxer has faced a slew of top heavyweights throughout his career, including narrow decision losses to Evander Holyfield and James Toney, plus title challenges of Chris Byrd and John Ruiz. The 44-year-old owns recent victories over Derric Rossy and Joey Abell in addition to triumphs over Clifford Etienne, David Izon and Javier Mora.

He also owns seven locations that sells fireworks. Martinez trains at the world Famous 5th Street Gym under Dino Spencer.
“My goal is to do it smart in boxing,” , disse Martinez. “My father and uncle fought undefeated lions in their first 10 lutas. I think if they build me up correctly I can be a local attraction. I’m very excited to be fighting in front of so many friends and family.”
28-anos Daniel “Raspy” Placeres is an undefeated lightweight from Miami. Placeres had a very short amateur career, ida 4-1, but learned to box in the gym, sparring world-class fighters such as current WBA Super World Super Bantamweight Champion Guillermo Rigondeaux, former world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, and former world champion Richar Abril.
“I’m very excited and a little nervous to be fighting at home as professional,” said Placeres. “It’s got me very motivated and I’ll definitely be the best me I can be that night.”
30-year-old junior middleweight Anthony Martinez foi 22-3 as an amateur boxer, winning the Florida Golden Gloves and State Championships. A natural to boxing, Martinez’s in-ring patience and technical skill combined with above-average power make him a strong candidate for success in the professional game.

Perrella giving back to Fort Myers with Goodfella’s Great Students

Fort Myers, FL (Agosto 21, 2016) – Unbeaten welterweight knockout artist Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella and Team Perrella are proud to announce they’ll give back to Fort Myers through an initiative called “Goodfella’s Great Students.”
Created by Perrella, “Goodfella’s Great Students” provides an additional incentive for students to excel in the classroom. Each month, Perrella and head trainer Michael Nowling will dedicate time to standout students selected by school administration. The selected pupils will receive personal invites and get transported to and from Syndicate Boxing Club, where they’ll participate in a fun workout run by Perrella and Nowling. Atualmente, Coronado High School is signed up for the free program and multiple schools have expressed serious interest in joining.

Perrella back in training; excited for next Opportunity

Fort Myers, FL (Junho 22, 2016) – Welterweight rising star Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella has returned to the gym and is training in anticipation of his next bout.
No June 4, Perrella destroyed previously unbeaten two time National Golden Gloves champion David Grayton on ESPN. Rather than go on vacation or celebrate his victory, Perrella immediately wanted to resume training. At the advice of his team, he took a short period of time off before getting back into the gym less than two weeks after his career best victory.

Even though he’s currently waiting to get the word on his next fight date, the 27-year-old Fort Myers native believes he’ll be in another televised bout in the coming months. Naturalmente, his immediate goal is to raise his record to 15-0 while continuing to fight his way into the upper echelon of the 147 divisão libra.

“I live, eat and sleep boxing,” said Perrella. “This is what I do for a living and I take my career seriously. LAKELAND, FL. (Junho 13, 2016) – Excitante superpeso meio-médio Joseph Elegele (16-2 11 KOs) mostrou sua força e poder Domingo noite no evento principal Premier Boxe dos Campeões: A próxima rodada de Bounce TV como ele foi de igual para igual com Phil Lo Greco(27-3, 15 KOs) para 10 rodadas muito disputadas do The Lakeland Center em Lakeland, FL.
