“Because my experience, fighting a southpaw is not much of an adjustment,” said Banks during a break in training. “Being at Kronk, I’ve boxed world-class southpaws like (former WBO Middleweight Champion) Andy Lee and (current WBC Light Heavyweight Champion) Adonis Stevenson to name a few. IMMOKALEE, FL. (ינואר 28, 2016) – It has been about a month since Howard Davis Jr. passed away.
The former Olympic star and professional was one of the most well liked people in the boxing community. During the process of Davis falling ill, his son Dyah was by his side and he now vows to carry on the boxing legacy set forth by his father.

Davis has been trying to get back in the ring sooner, but could not find anyone to step up and fight him.

It made me feel great to see the people who reached out following his passing. Lots of people reached out in so many ways.”
Dyah feels he has a new start in boxing as he has inked a deal with Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Promotions.
“I am fortunate that Marshall is giving me a shot. He has put on a lot of shows in the past couple years and I am looking for bigger fights. As seen by my record, I will fight anybody.
