Salita Promotions Signs Undefeated Russian Super Middleweight Aslambek Idigov to a Promotional Contract

Undefeated Idigov (13-0, 5 קאָס) hails from Grozny, רוסלאַנד, but is currently training in Detroit with Javan SugarHill Steward at Kronk Gym. The 22-year-old slugger made his debut under the Salita Promotional banner last June, with an impressive unanimous 10-round decision over then once-beaten James Ballard at the Masonic Temple in Detroit.

 

 

 

Idigov won the IBO Youth Super Middleweight Title in December 2016 with a unanimous decision over countryman Igor Selivanov.

Salita Promotions’ ever-growing stable of top contenders and rising stars grew again recently with the signing of his latest “Beast from the East,” last Friday night, as Ukrainian-born ethnic Korean super bantamweight slugger Arnold Khegai announced his presence on the world stage with an impressive unanimous decision over capable Texan Adam Lopez.

Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated Korean Ukrainian junior featherweight prospect Arnold Khegai.

From the town of Razdelnoye in the region of Odessa, in the Ukraine, Khegai (11-0-1, 8 קאָס) was last seen ripping away the undefeated record of then 11-1 Russian prospect Valery Tretyakov via last-second tenth-round KO.
“I really want to win over the audience in the US with my exciting style and my physical strength and endurance,” said the 25-year-old Khegai. “I am ready and willing to fight the best fighters in my weight class; anyone who stands in my path of getting a world title belt.”
Khegai switched over from being a world champion Thai boxer to a professional boxer in 2015 and has torn through a stiff level of domestic competition along the way.

Dmitriy Salita, of Salita Promotions, proudly announces the signing of world-class light heavyweight contender Umar Salamov to a co-promotional contract, along with KA Promotions.

Salamov (20-1, 15 קאָס) hails from Alkhan-Kala, רוסלאַנד, but is currently in Detroit training at the legendary Kronk Gym with Javan SugarHill Steward.

I believe Umar has the skills and the experience to be the best. He is only 23 years old and has lots of world-class experience on the elite level in the amateurs and the pros. 2018 is shaping up to be an important year in the budding boxing career of undefeated Detroit-based bantamweight Ja’Rico “The Great Lakes King” O’Quinn.

“It’s a great feeling. I get a lot of love in Detroit. They chant my name. The crowd loves it. If you can make it out of Detroit, you can make it out of anywhere.”
O’Quinn says he won’t predict what will specifically happen against Otieno, only that he will continue to build his name.

Among her many championships, she was an eight-time US Open National Champion, a four-time National Female Golden Gloves Champion, a four-time Pan Am Continental Champion, a two-time National PAL Champion, and a two-time US Olympic Team Alternate.
