Teenage sensation Devin “The Dream” Haney Making national television debut May 21 Live on CBS Sports Network outdoors from DLVEC

LAS VEGAS (Maj 5, 2016) – Lightweight sensation Devin “The Dream” Haney (5-0, 3 KO) is a boxing prodigy. The gifted 17-year-old boxer, luftuar nga Las Vegas, will make his national television debut May 21, në shtëpi, në “Knockout Night at the D” kartë.

Haney (pictured below) is a 7-time national amateur champion, who captured a gold medal at the 2015 World Champion Rinisë, but he was unable to try-out for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Boxing Team because of his age. When headgear was eliminated from Olympic boxing competition, the minimum age for a U.S. boxer to compete in the Olympics was changed to 19, so Haney decided to turn pro at the age of 17 rather than wait four more years. Also scheduled to fight on the undercard in 4-round bouts are Las Vegas junior lightweight Randy Moreno (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Texan Chris Turtun (1-2), and Las Vegas welterweight Jeremy “J-Flash” Nichols (3-0, 2 KO) vs. TBA.

Magomedov (17-0, 10 KO), who is promoted by Main Events, is rated among the top 15 middleweights by the four major sanctioning bodies: WBC #2, WBO #3, WBA #5 and IBF #14. The gifted Russian (pictured to right) captured his NABO title belt 10 muaj më parë, winning a 10-round unanimous decision against previously undefeated Derrick Webster (19-0).
