Filadelfia, PA. (Marzec 8, 2017) – Super Lightweight prospect David Gonzales is looking to rebound from his 1st professional setback when he takes on Juan Rodriguez in the 6-round co-feature bout this Sobotnia noc z SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.

“Training is going well in Texas. I come down here as I have a job selling solar panels. The sparring is great. There are a lot of tough Mexican fighters down here. They come hard and are always in shape,” Said Gonzales.
Gonzales now 8-1-2 z dwóch nokautów, has gone back to the drawing board, and is working hard on his craft.
“I have been working on getting better on defense, boks, just my balance and skills.”
In Rodriguez, he is facing a competitor that has a record of 6-6-1 pięć nokautów, and has a knockout victory over previously undefeated Philly area fighter Nathaniel Rivas.
“I don’t know much other then he is tough, and comes to fight. He isn’t the most skilled fighter, but I hear he hits hard. But you can never underestimate any fighter.”
Gonzales views the Teah fight as just a slight setback and a learning experience, and he doesn’t feel that he was knocked too far off track of realizing his goals.
“I just want to get back in the win column. Then maybe two more wins and fight an undefeated fighter, so I can move up the rankings. I am a confident fighter. I just got caught with a punch behind the head against Teah, and that’s boxing.”
“I just want people to know that I am back, and ready for a big win w sobotę. I just want to keep getting better and become a world champion.”

Filadelfia, PA. (Luty 7, 2017) – Middleweight’s Tyrone Brunson i Brandon Quarles will square off in the eight-round main event on Sobota, March 11th as King’s Promotions will stage it’s first show at the SugarHouse Casino w Filadelfia.
Brunson of Philadelphia has a record of 23-6-2, z 22 nokautów.
The 32 year-old Brunson turned professional in 2005, and started his career with 19 consecutive 1st round knockouts. Included in that streak was a stoppage over James Morrow (8-1-2). In his last bout Brunson and Ismael Garcia fought to a 10-round draw on October 14, 2016 w Filadelfii.
Quarles of Alexandria, Wirginia ma zapis 18-3-1 z 9 nokautów.
The 30 year-old Quarles is a 7 letni weteran, and has won 5 proste walki, with the latest being 6-round unanimous decision over Marcos Primera on June 25, 2016 in Greensboro, Karolina Północna.

“I sparred with him once and he is a pretty skillful guy. He is from Philly, so I know he has heart but he is not on my level. The sparring session was about 6 Rundy. I haven’t watched any tape on him, but I know the only way he can win is if he is in better shape and I know that’s not possible because I am great shape. I am also naturally bigger, so I think that will be a factor.”
