Philadelphia, PA. (March 8, 2017) – Super Lightweight prospect David Gunsales is looking to rebound from his 1st professional setback when he takes on Juan Rodriguez in the 6-round co-feature bout this Nocte at the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.

Gonzales views the Teah fight as just a slight setback and a learning experience, and he doesn’t feel that he was knocked too far off track of realizing his goals.
“I just want to get back in the win column. Then maybe two more wins and fight an undefeated fighter, so I can move up the rankings. I am a confident fighter. I just got caught with a punch behind the head against Teah, and that’s boxing.”
“I just want people to know that I am back, and ready for a big win hoc Saturday. I just want to keep getting better and become a world champion.”

Chester, PA (September 28, 2016)–Undefeated junior welterweight David “TwoGunz” Gonzales is looking for a big effort this Friday nox when he takes on the tested Samuel Seah in an eight-round bout that will headline a 9-fight card at Harrahs Philadelphia.
The show is promoted by King;s Promotions.

“I sparred with him once and he is a pretty skillful guy. He is from Philly, so I know he has heart but he is not on my level. The sparring session was about 6 rounds. I haven’t watched any tape on him, but I know the only way he can win is if he is in better shape and I know that’s not possible because I am great shape. I am also naturally bigger, so I think that will be a factor.”
This is another “Philly vs. Philly” matchup, which is always special to the fans in attendance.
“We are both from Philly. People look forward to seeing these matchups and especially this early in our careers, but I am the one that will have my hands raised.”
Yeah, who has had a couple fights and wins on national television, so Gonzales knows a win will put him on the map in the junior welterweight division.
“He is known in Philly and he had a big win over (previously undefeated” O'Shaquie Foster. I will show that I am on that level and this will start getting me higher profile fights.”

Inuictus est Jr. Welterweight David “TwoGunz” Gonzales (7-0-2, 2 KO scriptor) of Philadelphia scored a 4th round stoppage over veteran Justin Johnson and Lightweight Carlos “Rockhands” Rosarium (4-1, 2 KO scriptor) de Pennsauken, NJ won a 4-round split decision war over Victor Vasquez in what was the fight of the night.
