Philadelphia, PA. (Maris 8, 2017) – Super Lightweight prospect David Gonzales is looking to rebound from his 1st professional setback when he takes on Juan Rodriguez in the 6-round co-feature bout this Asabar dare a SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.

Gonzales now 8-1-2 biyu knockouts, has gone back to the drawing board, and is working hard on his craft.
“I have been working on getting better on defense, dambe, just my balance and skills.”

Gonzales views the Teah fight as just a slight setback and a learning experience, and he doesn’t feel that he was knocked too far off track of realizing his goals.
“I just want to get back in the win column. Then maybe two more wins and fight an undefeated fighter, so I can move up the rankings. I am a confident fighter. I just got caught with a punch behind the head against Teah, and that’s boxing.”
“I just want people to know that I am back, and ready for a big win wannan Asabar. I just want to keep getting better and become a world champion.”

Chester, PA (Satumba 28, 2016)–Undefeated junior welterweight David “TwoGunz” Gonzales is looking for a big effort this Jumma'a dare when he takes on the tested Sama'ila Seah in an eight-round bout that will headline a 9-fight card at Harrahs Philadelphia.

“I sparred with him once and he is a pretty skillful guy. He is from Philly, so I know he has heart but he is not on my level. The sparring session was about 6 akai-akai. I haven’t watched any tape on him, but I know the only way he can win is if he is in better shape and I know that’s not possible because I am great shape. I am also naturally bigger, so I think that will be a factor.”
This is another “Philly vs. Philly” matchup, which is always special to the fans in attendance.
“We are both from Philly. People look forward to seeing these matchups and especially this early in our careers, but I am the one that will have my hands raised.”
Haka ne, who has had a couple fights and wins on national television, so Gonzales knows a win will put him on the map in the junior welterweight division.
“He is known in Philly and he had a big win over (previously undefeated” O'Shaquie dauki reno. I will show that I am on that level and this will start getting me higher profile fights.”

Undefeated Jr. Welterweight David “TwoGunz” Gonzales (7-0-2, 2 KO ta) of Philadelphia scored a 4th round stoppage over veteran Justin Johnson and Lightweight Carlos “Rockhands” Rosary (4-1, 2 KO ta) na Pennsauken, NJ won a 4-round split decision war over Victor Vasquez in what was the fight of the night.
