Banner Promotions signs former Olympian Naim Terbunja

PHILADELPHIA, PENN.(Novembro 6, 2018)–Banner Promotions is proud to announce the signing of former Olympian and current super middleweight Naim Terbunja.

 

 

 

Terbunja of Linkoping, Sweden by way of Pristina, Kosovo, represented Sweden in the 2008 Xogos Olímpicos. He currently holds a professional record of 10-2-1 cun nocaute.

 

 

 

O 34 year-old Terbunja began boxing at the age of 14, as he was a young soccer player looking to get stronger. Terbunja took up boxing, and fell in love with the sport.

 

 

 

That sparked an amateur career that saw him go 200-36. Terbunja fought all over the world for the Swedish National team, and then to the 2008 Olympics where he lost to Matt Korobov in the round of 36.

 

 

 

Terbunja moved to Long Island and spent part of his amateur career in the United States and captured the National Golden Gloves title in 2009 by defeating Luis Arias in the finals.

 

 

 

Terbunja turned professional on April 27, 2012 with a unanimous decision over Vladimir Spasojevic in Sweden. Terbunja has fought six times in Sweden and twice in Kosovo.

 

 

 

Terbunja has a 1st round stoppage over previously undefeated Joel De La Paz (7-0) en xullo 23, 2016.

Greg Cohen Promotions proudly announces the signing of once-beaten super middleweight Derrick “Take It to The Bank” Webster.

 

 

 

GLASSBORO, New Jersey’s Webster (28-1, 14 Kos) stands an enormous 6’ 4”, with fast and powerful hands. The naturally athletic southpaw only had 40 amateur fights and didn’t even start boxing until age 24 but picked up the sport very quickly.

 

 

 

Unlike most world-class fighters, Webster is a successful home-remodeling and construction business owner. He also played power forward for two seasons for the University of Maryland basketball while earning a bachelor’s degree in Juvenile Criminal Justice.

Webster is unique in that he’s not financially dependent on boxing. All of his sacrifice and work is done because he wants to.

 

 

 

“A lot of guys fight because they need it for their identity. I am successful in business already. I have built myself up as a brand. I have businesses that are doing well. Boxing just adds to my life. I still act. I do modelling. I don’t have to worry about money in boxing.”

 

 

 

Cohen says he’ll act quickly with Webster to get him into position for a world championship challenge.

Adestrar sempre é difícil e estou aprendendo constantemente. Este campamento tiven unha dieta completamente diferente: un cambio real e positivo para min. Colaborei con Perfecting Athletes para as miñas comidas diarias, e síntome xenial. Sempre tentei comer sa, pero estas persoas son profesionais e son máis educadas nese campo ca min.. Teño esta bebida máxica que fai sorrir o meu estómago: encántame! É a sandía mesturada cunha verdura verde. Non vos vou dicir que vexetais é, pero estiven tomando todos os días, e síntome xenial.

 

Os teus números de audiencia foron moi altos. Por que cres que a xente se siente atraída por ti?

 

 

 

Creo que a xente está atraída polo real e honesto que son, tanto dentro como fóra do anel. Digo o que quero dicir e quero dicir o que digo. Son duro pero tamén teño un lado suave. Sei que o meu rival Rankin é moi duro e está decidido a ser campión do mundo. Gústame a súa condución, Gústame o seu corazón. Sei que estivo no ring como compañeira de sparring de moitos campións, unha delas é Christina Hammer. Entón Rankin viu algúns bos loitadores. Pero unha cousa é segura: nunca viu un loitador coma min. Creo que o segredo comeza por crer en ti mesmo, sendo dedicado, traballando duro e esforzándose sempre por ser mellor. Sinto que son o meu maior crítico cando adestro e boxeo. É difícil ver películas das miñas pelexas porque aínda que o estou facendo 97 as cousas ben non soporto ver 3 cousas que estou facendo mal. Son unha persoa que me esforzo para sacar todo o meu potencial. Fai falla coraxe para ser xenial. Nada impedirá alcanzar os meus obxectivos, que inclúe ser o GWOAT e crear igualdade para todas as mulleres loitadoras no que se refire ao diñeiro, oportunidades e cobertura que obteñen os homes.

GH3 Promotions signs Former World Title Challenger Dominic Wade

NUTLEY, NJ., (Novembro 5, 2018) – GH3 Promotions has signed former world title challenger and middleweight contender Dominic Wade to a Promotional deal.

Wade suffered his only professional defeat in that fight, and has not fought since the world title opportunity.

Now I have a good team behind me with GH3 Promotions, I have a great work ethic, and I am back with my original trainer Adrian Davis. I feel the best is still ahead of me.”

 

 

 

 

 

“I feel that we can get Dominic back to the top really soon. I plan to have him fight November 17th in Indiana, then I want to bring him back in December in New Jersey, and a 3rd fight in January, that will get him in a fight that will get him in position. He has always had the talent, now he is with us, and we will have him on a schedule to get him back in the rankings, and eventually another world title shot,” said Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions.

New Kickboxing Champion Crowned at FFC 33

Las Vegas, NV, (Novembro 2, 2018) – The Main Event of “FFC 33” delivered an upset and a new champion, as Mykta Chub (18-7-0) defeated previously unbeaten champion Andi Vrtacic (10-1-0) por decisión dividida (47-48, 48-47, 48-47) to win the FFC Middleweight Kickboxing Title.

 

 

 

Chub and Vrtacic displayed a great deal of endurance during their five round war. Chub was able to pin Vrtacic into the corners quite often during this fight, frustrating the young Vrtacic and preventing him from using his signature high kicks. Vrtacici landed some nice head kicks and few solid combinations but it wasn’t enough to impress the judges, allowing Chub to steal the win, and the title.

 

 

 

In the Co-Main Event, which involved two very exciting MMA lightweight fighters, Darrick Memorias (22-9-0) wasted no time submitting former UFC Fighter, “Cassius” Clay Collard (16-8-1) by rear naked choke in the very first round. The submission victory, which was the 19th of Minner’s career, only took 31 seconds to execute.

 

 

 

Andre Keys (10-1-0) went the distance with Randy Fuentes (7-7-1) in their Super Welterweight Boxing bout. Keys won by split decision (55-59, 55-59, 58-56) in a fight that featured both fighters standing in the pocket and trading hard shots for the majority of their six round fight.

 

 

 

In a Kickboxing Lightweight matchup, despite breaking his left arm in the fight, Chris McMillan (38-10-0) won a split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) against Teo Mikelic (18-7-0) in a fight that featured some vicious kicks and crisp punches by both fighters.

 

 

 

The night began with Sherrard Blackledge (1-0-0) winning his professional MMA debut by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-27) over Jordan Christensen (0-2-0) in the Welterweight division.

 

 

 

“Most of these fights ended up going the distance and the fighters did not disappoint tonight,” said FFC CEO/Founder, Orsat Zovko. “FFC 33 showcased a lot of endurance and toughness and delivered an entertaining show for the fans.”

 

 

 

“FFC 33” took place at its permanent home, “Fight Dome”, which is located at Caesars Entertainment’s Rio Las Vegas. The event aired nationwide on CBS Sports Network.
