Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 Kos) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANGE, Calif. (Nóvember. 18, 2018) – Junior léttur Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 Kos) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 Kos) in the third round Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel í Ontario, Calif.

 

 

 

Hollenska yfir, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

 

 

 

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

 

 

 

In the third, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

 

 

 

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 merkja.

 

 

 

“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Tilboð og Thompson Boxing. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. I’m looking forward to another great year in 2019.”

Las Vegas, NV, (Nóvember 17, 2018) – Aðalviðburðurinn í “FFC 34” innihélt ógleymanlegt titilbardaga í Kickbox sem var fullur af stanslausum hasar fyrir allar fimm meistaramótin.

 

Aðeins Petje (36-6-1) hélt FFC Lightweight Kickboxing titlinum sínum með því að sigra mjög leikjaskorara, Bruno Gazani (60-7-0), með meirihluta jafntefli (47-47, 47-47, 46-48).

The main event of the telecast – which featured five ShoBox veterans and three fighters who call Philadelphia home – did not last long. The battle-tested Serrano (24-6, 10 Kos), whose six professional losses have come against opponents with a combined fight night record of 111-1-1, proved to be no match for Ennis. The flashy southpaw with a deadly combination of speed and power scored three highlight reel knockdowns in round two, and capped off the night with an explosive uppercut to the jaw. The 21-year-old Ennis (22-0, 20 Kos) has now knocked out 12 consecutive opponents and has proven his worth as one of boxing’s brightest prospects.

 

 

 

“It was a good fight, I was just in there having fun,” said Ennis, who is trained by his father Bozy. “My dad said to start touching the body and that set up the big shots. That’s exactly what I did.

 

 

 

“I knew after the first knockdown, the fight was over. He’s a good fighter and it looks good to have his name on my resume. I’m ready for anybody in my division. I will knock any of them out.”

I had more in my arsenal to show tonight. My head might look like an acorn by tomorrow, but it’s worth it.

 

 

 

“I’m asking for the biggest fights,” he continued. “This is what I asked for. Let’s level up and whatever’s biggest next, let’s do it.”

Khegai, known for his aggressive come-forward style, stayed true to his reputation by pressing the action early. Despite suffering a cut over his left eye after an accidental clash of heads in the fourth round, Khegai was more accurate in all phases while Diaz’s activity made the fight competitive throughout the first five rounds. Khegai dazed Diaz in the fifth with a big left hook and followed it up by scoring the only knockdown of the fight in the sixth, landing a combination that forced Diaz to a knee. Tied at 122 total connects after seven rounds, Khegai clinched the fight with a huge eighth and final round where he landed 31 power punches to just 13 for Diaz.

 

 

 

“I’m very excited to get the win against a very uncomfortable fighter,” said Khegai through an interpreter. “He was tough and I had to stick to my game plan. He was doing different things and leaning in with his head. My main idea was to win the fight and I tried to get the knockout.

NEW YORK (Nóvember 16, 2018) –2016 United States Olympian, and undefeated bantamweight Antonio Vargas (8-0, 3 Kos) returns to the ring when he fights Jorge Perez in an eight-round bout at the Civic Center Kissimmee, Florida.

The bout will be the 1st scheduled eight-round bout for Vargas, and it will be for the Jr. NABF Bantamweight title.

Vargas of Kissimmee, will be fighting for his 1st title and he will be doing it in front of his hometown fans. This will be the for 3rd time this year that Vargas will be fighting in Kissimmee.

Vargas is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over Felipe Rivas on September 28th in Puerto Rico.

I’m very excited to fight for my first professional title. To top it all off, I get to do it in front of my family and friends,” Said Vargas.

Colombian bantamweight Yeison “El Mulo” Vargas will be experiencing a number of career firsts in the Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and live on Boxeo Telemundo, á föstudaginn, Nóvember 30.

In the first important crossroads fight of his three-year career, Vargas be fighting for the first time outside his homeland, and also having his first fight under The Heavyweight Factory promotional banner.

 

 

 

To prepare, Vargas has spent training camp working with well-known Florida-based trainer Herman Caicedo in Miami. “This is the best training camp I’ve ever had,” said Vargas. “I’m learning so many new skills and different techniques from Herman. I feel so good, I can’t wait to hear the bell ring.”

 

 

 

28-year-old Vargas, the current Colombian Champion, says he’s ready for a gritty battle if that’s what it takes against Espinoza, the WBO Latino Bantamweight Champion. “I know he’s a good fighter and that he won’t lay down. He will be there to win too, and I need to be impressive in beating him. I also know he’s a big puncher. That’s what I like to hear. We can go to war.”

 

 

 

Vargas says he hooked up with the Hollywood, Florida-based Heavyweight Factory through his manager Angel Villegas and is hoping to start cultivating a fan-base in Florida, and because of the TV exposure, Norður -Ameríka.

 

 

 

“This is my most important fight yet,” said Vargas. “Winning this fight means climbing the ladder in the United States. That’s been my dream since I started boxing. I want the fans to know I’m going to put on an exciting performance for them, so they remember my name.”

The event is headlined by a heavyweight world championship showdown presented by Premier Boxing Champions that pits WBC champion Deontay Wilder against lineal champion Tyson Fury á SHOWTIME PPV®. The PPV undercard features unified super welterweight world champion Jarrett Hurd returning to take on Jason Welborn, Cuban heavyweight slugger Luis Ortiz facing-off against Travis Kauffman and rising heavyweight Joe Joyce orrusta Joe Hanks.

 

 

 

Additional undercard action will see Deontay Wilder’s brother and unbeaten prospect Marsellos Wilder (2-0, 2 Kos)in a cruiserweight attraction. Meira, an IBF Minimumweight World Title showdown will see Westminster, Kaliforníu Carlos Licona (13-0, 2 Kos) take on the Phillippines’ Mark Anthony Barriga (9-0, 1 KO) while unbeaten featherweight Isaac Lowe (15-0-3, 5 Kos) competes in an eight-round bout. Representing the Bay Area and fighting out of Gilroy, California, Guerrero’s championship run began at featherweight in 2006 and went through a memorable 2012 triumph over Andre Berto for an interim welterweight championship. Along the way Guerrero has challenged and often engaged in memorable wars against the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia.

 

 

 

Born in Los Angeles, Arreola (36-5-1, 31 Kos) fights for the first time since challenging for Wilder’s WBC title in 2016 and will match up against Houston’s Maurenzo Smith (20-10-4, 13 Kos) in a 10-round attraction. Arreola previously battled Bermane Stiverne in two exciting heavyweight title fights and former champions Vitali Klitschko and Tomasz Adamek. He owns victories over Eric Molina, Jameel McCline, Joey Abell and Seth Mitchell throughout his career.

RESLY, N.J. (Nóvember 14, 2018) — Integrated Sports Media (ISM), one of the leading distributors of combat sports programming in North America, has announced it has a signed, exclusive agreement to distribute DAZN programming to commercial establishments in the United States.

ISM will be responsible for distributing DAZN programming in the U.S. to bars, veitingahús, casinos and sports books.

“We’re thrilled to distribute DAZN programming in the U.S. market and help grow its reach across the country,” ISM president Doug Jacobs sagði. “We have a signed deal to distribute DAZN’s world-class combat sports programming like Golden Boy Promotions, Bellator MMA and Matchroom Boxing.”

DAZN’s recent groundbreaking deal with superstar Sál “Canelo” Alvarez to its live and on-demand services for his next 11 fights strengthens DAZN’s promise to revolutionize the way fans watch sports, as well as signals the beginning of the end for traditional pay-per-views events.

ISM is distributing its first DAZN boxing program on Saturday, Desember 15, showcasing Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 Kos), who will move up one weight class for his Madison Square Garden debut in New York City. Alvarez, who is a 3-time junior middleweight and 3-time middleweight world champion, will challenge WBA Super Middleweight World Champion Rocky Fielding (27-1, 15 Kos) in the 12-round main event.

The 28-year-old Alvarez, arguably the No. 1 pound-4-pound boxer in the world today, is already a boxing icon in his native Mexico, one of the true hotbeds in boxing today. The wildly popular Alvarez has defeated a Who’s Who list of boxers during his incredible 13-year professional career, including past or present world champions such as Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr., Liam Smith, Amir Khan, Miguel Cotto, Erislandy Lara, Alfredo Angulo, Austin Trout, Shane Mosley, Kermit CINTRON, Lovemore Ndou og Carlos Manuel Baldomir.
