“Cela s'est fait depuis longtemps. Je suis juste content que Hammer soit là et que le combat soit réglé. Elle a déjà participé à mes combats mais j'ai hâte de monter sur le ring et de lui montrer que je suis le vrai champion.

“Je ne suis pas quelqu'un qui vient se coucher. Je n'ai pas peur d'elle. Vous ne gagnez pas de ceintures en parlant. Tu dois te battre. J'ai dit il y a deux ans je veux combattre Christina Hammer dans mon septième combat. Ça l'aurait été s'il n'y avait pas eu son problème médical. Mais maintenant, nous sommes là et prêts pour avril 13.

“Avril 13 tu vas voir quelqu'un se coucher. Je vous promets, ce ne sera pas moi. Assurez-vous que vous êtes tous à l'écoute.

“Je pense que pour la boxe féminine, c'est un vrai super combat que nous n'avons jamais eu auparavant. Nous n’avons jamais eu un combat comme celui-ci en boxe féminine. C’est formidable de faire en sorte que cela se produise et nous venons de deux parties du monde rend ce combat encore meilleur.

“Ce n’est pas la fille la plus grande que j’ai jamais combattue. Je suis plus fort qu’elle et je le sais. Je me suis levé d'un renversement et j'ai gagné. Elle ne peut pas faire ça. Je ne crois pas qu'elle sache se battre à l'intérieur, mais elle ferait mieux d'apprendre.

“Je veux la faire arrêter. Je ne veux pas qu'elle sache juste que je suis un bon combattant, Je veux qu'elle sache que je suis super. Je souhaite que nous puissions aller 12 tours, mais je serai prêt pour tout 10 Les manches.”

“Je suis très heureux d’être ici et de faire en sorte que ce combat se produise. J'ai hâte d'avril 13. Je veux montrer au monde qui je suis.

As a fighter, Iván made 18 world title defenses in the 105 et 108 pounds of the WBO and will be a safe bet for the Hall of Fame”, Varcárcel said.

As for taking on a seasoned veteran like Woods when he could have easily asked for a tune up, Vendetti shows the attitude that has made him such a fan favorite.

“I like to fight and wanted to be in a real fight in my return. Knocking out a ham and egger in the first round isn’t enjoyable for me or the fans. It’s a waste of a camp and a weight cut not to mention you don’t learn anything. Woods is a durable, legit guy who is coming to win. That’s what I need and want.”

And after going 50/50 against against world class opposition last year, would Vendetti be willing to take on a top 10 fighter again in 2019?

“100%. I want to make a statement against Woods then keep improving with each fight. I don’t want to take any steps back with the opposition. Everything forward. As long as I’m healthy, I will fight anyone in the division.”

In addition to the three headlining local favorites, the card will feature a 4 round super lightweight women’s bout between **Jillian DiAuto** (1-1, 1 KO) et **Sarah Cliquez** (0-1-1), as well as the east coast debut of Venezuelan super lightweight sensation, **Luis Arcon** (5-0, 5 KOs) who will take on an opponent to be named in a 6 rond.

3 more undercard bouts will be announced shortly to kick off the night at the beloved throwback venue which has become a mainstay of Murphys Boxing.
