Melson to return against Ruiz May 8!

New York, New York (Avril 7, 2015) – Boyd “Rainmaker” Melson returns to the ring following a fifteen month layoff when he battles fellow popular New Yorker Mike “El Cangri” Ruiz in the ten round main event of a DiBella Entertainment and New Legend Boxing card Friday, Mai 8 at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook, New York.

Out of action since February 2014, Melson has an excellent professional record of 14-1-1 with four wins by knockout. The Manhattan resident, who is one of the biggest box office draws in the Big Apple, was slated to face contender Glen Tapia last June at Madison SquareGarden but withdrew after suffering a shoulder injury in training. At just 26-years-old, Guillermo Sanchez has already accumulated a total of 30 fights in his short career. Turning professional in 2007 the fighter quickly made a name for himself in the sport, winning most of his bouts via knockout and keeping his undefeated status until 2009. 2015 has already turned into a busy year for the lightweight contender, facing Michael Doyle in January winning the bout via unanimous decision and winning his second fight of the year via first round knockout against Pablo Batres in February. The fighter will be looking to continue his winning streak onAvril 18 when he goes up against the undefeated Vitor Jones De Olivera.

 

22-year-old Eddie “E-Boy” Gomez is a hungry fighter, eager to not just get the victory, but to do it in spectacular fashion. L'éminent promoteur de MMA Mark Lyons s'est associé au plus jeune promoteur de boxe professionnel de Grande-Bretagne, Billy James-Elliott, dix-huit ans, va créer une nouvelle tenue de promotion de boxe professionnelle – Wise Guys Promotions.

 

Leur premier événement, intitulé SEIGNEURS DES ANNEAUX, aura lieu au célèbre York Hall, À Bethnal Green, Londres le samedi, 2Dakota du Nord Mai 2015, et sera mis en vedette par la bataille vacante du championnat international des poids mi-moyens MBC entre Siar Ozgul et Matt Scriven.

 

Ozgul de Hackney et Scriven de Nottingham sont de vieux ennemis, s'étant battus aussi récemment qu'en octobre de l'année dernière.
