Anthony “Kua txiv” Young ready for Jersey showdown with Malik Jackson this Thursday night in Philly

Rau Tam Sim Tso
Atlantic City, NJ (Cuaj hlis 14, 2016)– Welterweight, Anthony “Kua txiv” Hluas will look for his third consecutive victory when he takes on Malik Jackson in a battle of New Jersey based fighters as one of the undercard bouts this Thursday nighnyob rau ntawm lub 2300 Arena nyob rau hauv Philadelphia.
Young of Atlantic City won his first ten bouts and after his current two-fight streak will enter the ring with a record of 13-2 nrog tsib knockouts.
I had a really good camp and great sparring with (sib) Anthony Burgin & Victor Padilla.
In Jackson, he is facing a fighter with a very deceiving 3-9-4 cov ntaub ntawv. He has had several questionable decisions not go in his favor, so Young expects a fight that will not be a gimme.
I do not know much about him other than t\him being a scrappy fighter who is coming to win. I know he is from New Jersey, but it doesn’t matter where he is from. He could be from Switzerland for all I care.
This will be the third bout that Young will have championship trainer Raul “Chino” Rivas, and Young already has seen the improvements with his new coach.
I will display what I have been working on with Chino. I want to thank my team for this opportunity on this card.
Said Rivas, “This will be our third fight together. He is getting better with every fight. I am excited to see him fight rau hnub Thursday. He has worked hard and is getting sharper. He is able to spar eight and ten rounds now.
I know Jackson a little bit as I am originally from North Jersey. My son beat him in the amateurs He is tall and his record doesn’t justify who he is. He has been overmatched. But I have noticed that he doesn’t use his jab and he doesnt have the heart when you press him. We have been using Juice’s angles and combinations and slowly we have been to eliminate bad habits. He is smart, a hard worker and disciplined and his best boxing is ahead of him.
“Anthony “Kua txiv” Young will attempt to continue building his already impressive career,”said long time manager, Rich Masini. “we are very confident in our current team. Head trainer Raul “Chino” Rivas has been doing as excellent job with Juice. I’ve seen Juice grow in every aspect , both inside and out of the ringsays Masini.
He seems to have a great chemistry with Chino as well as Chino’s team. It’s easy with a kid like Juice, he is great to work with, we have a great team around him including his dad, Teany. We realize we have a tough opponent in front of us on September 15th but Juice is ready to go and take care of businesssays Masini.
Masini adds R.I.P Pati Masini Love you sister.

NICE, California. (Cuaj hlis 13, 2016) – Chicago’s Eddie Ramirez (15-0, 10 Kos) scored a seventh round knockout of Kevin Watts (11-1, 4 Kos) in a battle of unbeaten super lightweight prospects that served as the main event of Premier Boxing Champions Ntiv taw xoo-RAU-Ntiv taw xoo hnub Tuesday rau FS1 thiab Boxing Champions on FOX Deportes Tuesday night from Robinson Rancheria Resort and Casino in Nice, California.
Ramirez was determined to be the busier fighter, but it was Watts who scored the first big blow of the night when he caught Ramirez with a right uppercut that dropped his opponent for the first time in his career.
The Chicago-born prospect stepped up the attack after the knockdown and began to dominate the fight with his work rate and body punching. The jab was another effective weapon for Ramirez and it allowed him to navigate the distance and push Watts against the ropes.
Watts was unable to put his punches together and Ramirez became more emboldened in his attack as the fight went on and Watts began to wear down. Ramirez had a 488 rau 348 advantage in punches thrown while connecting on 170 punches to Watts’ 130.
The relentless attack eventually paid dividends as Ramirez trapped Watts with a flurry of body punches and eventually put Watts down to the mat. He was unable to beat the count and the fight was waved off at 1:37 in the seventh round.
The co-main event of the night saw super welterweight prospect Marcos “Madman” Hernandez (9-0, 2 Kos) earn a unanimous decision over Detroit’s Antonio Urista (7-2, 2 Kos) in their eight-round bout.

Hernandez’s steady attack had an effect on Urista in the form of his mouthpiece falling out three times. Nyob rau hauv lub thib tsib puag ncig, the third instance prompted the referee to deduct a point from Urista.

Urista enjoyed a 664-507 advantage in punches thrown, but Hernandez was able to land 213 punches rau 193 from his opponent. Hernandez was dominant with his right hooks and he mixed in uppercuts throughout the night as he began to time his opponent.

Fort Myers, IBCE (Cuaj hlis 13, 2016) – Bryant “Goodfella” Perrella will look to take another step up the welterweight ladder when he faces contender Yordenis Ugas Tuesday, Cuaj hlis 27 at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino in Santa Fe, NM.
The bout is scheduled for ten rounds and is the main event of Premier Boxing Champions’ “Toe to Toe Tuesday” series on Fox Sports 1.
Ugas, who captured a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics for his native Cuba, yog 16-3 nrog 7 wins by knockout as a professional. Nyob rau lub yim hli ntuj 12, Ugas soundly defeated previously unbeaten Jamal James over ten rounds. The well-schooled Cuban has never been stopped and two of his defeats came via split decision.
To prepare for the challenge, Perrella’s been training with world class fighters from all over the world. The Fort Myers native has put in additional time in all aspects of his training from bag work to cardio, strength training and sparring. By pushing himself to the limits in his training camp, Perrella’s confident the hard work will help him accomplish exactly what he’s looking for on fight night.
"First and foremost I owe a special thanks to my great sponsor Dioxyme for helping make this training camp a great success so far,” said the 27-year-old, uas yog 14-0 nrog 13 wins via KO. “I’ve said all along that I’m planning to knock him out. He’s never faced anybody with power like mine or a welterweight of my stature that can box, bang and throw the right punches at the right time. He’s in for a real surprise on the 27th because I’m going to end his night early and show everybody in the welterweight division that I’m a force to be reckoned with!"

Tevin Farmer ready for all comers

Philadelphia (Cuaj hlis 13, 2016)–Hot junior lightweight Tevin Yawg is ready for the biggest fights between the featherweight and lightweight divisions.
Farmer of Philadelphia has won 15 fights in a row and is now ranked number-five by the WBC at 130-pounds.
Nyob rau hauv nws cov nag sib ntau sib tw, Farmer put on a masterful performance in a virtual shutout over highly regarded Ivan Redkach on Lub Xya hli ntuj 30 nyob rau hauv Brooklyn, New York.
First I want to thank Ivan Redkach for taking the fight. I really do. Because he gave me an opportunity to showcase my skills. No one else was biting. Ivan is a warrior. The fight itself was just me being me. Showing I’m one of the best fighters in the world. I took the fight at 135 because I literally can’t get a fight in my weight class. I don’t want to come off as thirsty but no one wants this work. So I had to take on a bigger and taller guy but I’m used to that. Skills are what wins fights so I was good with it.
One fighter that Farmer is thinking about is contender Gervontae Davis. Davis has been rumored to be facing Farmer’s stablemate Jason Sosa for the WBA title.

I would love that fight but honestly he would be a step backwards for me at this point. He’s in a good position with Floyd Mayweather and he should appreciate it. They are quietly slowing him down because they know he’s not ready. We have had our share of back and forth on social media but the ball is in his court. Sometimes the fans get fooled. A fight between us is simple to make all he has to do is tell Floyd he wants it. Floyd is the most powerful man in the sport. He could get the fight done easy. Davis came to Philly and asked to spar me. That showed me all I needed to know about Gervontae Davis. Why would we spar for free when we can get paid to fight? He doesn’t want to fight me and it’s time to move on.

Farmer is coming home to on Lub kaum hli ntuj 14 to fight Orlando Rizo at the 2300 Arena nyob rau hauv Philadelphia. Farmer is not looking past Rizo, but the 26 year-old native of Philadelphia is looking for the fighters between 126 thiab 135 phaus.

Ivan Redkach is being handled by Leo Santa Cruz’s people. I’m glad they took the fight but they don’t seem to think much of me. So how about this…. They should let Leo use me as a tune up and comeback fight. He keeps saying he wants to fight Gary Russell. Well use me as a tune up to get ready for Russell. I will take the fight at 126, look how easy I am to negotiate with. Now let’s see if they bite on that. If not Leo my goal is win a world title at 130. So anyone ranked at 130 I’m willing to fight, it doesn’t matter who it is. But I am willing to go up or down for the right opportunities.

Farmer is promoted by DiBella Entertainment.

Thomas LaManna Quotes:
“Kuv xav tias zoo. I am excited and I am anxious.
I can not let let Dusty get in a groove. That’s what I remember from sparring is that if you give him a groove, he is a little bit hard to handle, other that that you can’t give him confidence.
I have ten rounds to work. I always say that the last two rounds are mental . I am in great shape to go ten rounds
Me and Dusty both have big fan bases and I will be able to block out the crowd
I don’t get nervous. Especially this fight because I have been in the ring with him before. There is nothing that he can do in my eyes that I would be worried about.
The gameplan is to just to win. Make the proper adjustments when I need to.
I am more confident after this camp then I have ever been.
“Qhov no txhais tau tias kev sib ntaus txhua yam rau kuv. It’s now or never as it will change my career and it will show where I am in boxing.
