A native of Bilbao, Espagne, Fernández will fight in the U.S. for the fourth time on July 3. Fernández has been mentored by boxing great Sergio Martinez and will look to put himself back in position for a world title against Rivera. Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez part of group that opened new state-of-the-art boxing gym in the Heart of North Hollywood’s Arts District Brickhouse Boxing Club

LOS ANGELES (Juin 21, 2021) – Undefeated former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Super Middleweight Champion (WBO) and current world-ranked light heavyweight contender Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez is a principal member in 3PM Group, which officially opened the 6,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Brickhouse Boxing Club to the public this past May 31st.

Ramirez (41-0, 27 KOs) has been training at Brickhouse Boxing Club for his July 9e12-round main event fight versus former world light heavyweight title challenger Sullivan Barrera (22-3, 14 KOs).

"Ce fut le meilleur camp de ma vie. Je sais que ça sonne cliché, mais ça a vraiment été. Je suis allé dans la salle de gym depuis mon dernier combat. J'ai fait quelques erreurs dans ce combat, mais Kevin Cunningham et moi y travaillons depuis l'année dernière et nous venons faire une déclaration.

"Cela va être un combat amical pour les fans. je peux le mélanger, boîte ou bang. Rosario s'avance toujours. Les fans vont adorer. Je ne suis pas le combattant qui essaie de trouver une sortie facile. Je cherche à faire une déclaration.

"Je pense que je suis un combattant totalement différent de celui où je m'entraînais avec son entraîneur, Herman Caicedo. Moi et Kevin avons travaillé sur beaucoup de choses que les gauchers réguliers n'ont pas. J'arrive avec un plan de match qui ressemble à un puzzle. Je pense que c'est le mauvais combat pour Rosario après une défaite par élimination directe.

"Ce combat se résume à qui en veut plus et qui s'est mieux préparé. moi aussi j'ai du pouvoir. Il doit avoir les compétences et avoir son esprit là-bas. Je sais que je suis prêt mentalement. Je ne peux pas attendre de se battre.

"J'ai acquis beaucoup d'expérience en combattant Nathaniel Gallimore et Terrell Gausha. Ce sont les meilleurs prétendants. Je ne veux pas de combats de mise au point, c'est pourquoi j'ai pris ce combat contre Rosario. J'ai pris beaucoup de confiance et tout clique pour moi en ce moment.

"Quand je serai champion du monde, Je veux pouvoir dire que j'ai battu tous les meilleurs gars de la division. C'est juste comme ça que je suis. Je suis un concurrent. Assurez-vous de vous connecter en juin 26.

"Peu importe si j'assommer Rosario ou si je ne le fais pas. Mon travail est de bien paraître et de sortir victorieux. Je vais y aller et montrer au monde que je peux faire mal paraître n'importe qui dans cette division.

JEISON ROSARIO

« Je me sens en très bonne santé et très fort. Cela a été un excellent camp jusqu'à présent et probablement l'un des meilleurs camps que j'ai eu dans ma carrière. Je suis déjà au poids et je suis prêt à partir. Le combat de Jermell Charlo est le passé. C'est fini avec. C'est un nouveau camp et je me sens très fort. Nous avançons.

"J'ai changé de basket juste parce que je cherchais un changement. Pas forcément parce que j'ai perdu, mais parce que c'était juste le bon moment. Malheureusement, il est venu avec une perte, mais ce n'était pas la raison du changement. Nous nous connaissons depuis un certain temps. Je connais le style d'Herman Caicedo. Ce n'est pas un non-sens. Pas d'excuses. C'est tout ou rien et c'est ce que je voulais pour avancer.

"Tout d'abord, J'ai le pouvoir de mettre KO Lubin et n'importe qui dans la division des 154 livres. Le camp que j'ai eu, et les petites bribes de connaissances sur les gauchers que j'ai ramassées, rends-moi confiant que je peux assommer Lubin.

"J'ai regardé le combat de Charlo pour la première fois hier soir. Évidemment, J'ai appris de mon erreur et j'ai travaillé pour la corriger dans ce camp. J'ai hâte de montrer ce que j'ai appris de cette défaite de juin 26.

"À 154 livres, Je peux assommer n'importe qui. J'ai vu certains des combats de Lubin en tant que fan et c'est un grand combattant. Tout le monde ne le ferait pas. Erickson l'a fait et je suis taillé dans le même tissu. C’est l’opportunité et la fierté de combattre les meilleurs. »

JULIAN WILLIAMS

« Le camp se passe très bien. Je suis allé à Las Vegas avec SugarHill Steward meulant et mettant au travail. Les fans peuvent s'attendre à une performance explosive et à une victoire pour moi en juin 26.

"Je dois juste être moi-même en juin 26. Je pense que je suis plus doué que quiconque dans la division et je prévois de le prouver à nouveau contre Brian Mendoza.

« Je sais qui est Brian Mendoza. Je m'attends à ce qu'il se fasse battre. Il est un combattant décent, mais la victoire est la seule chose dans mon esprit.

"Je ne veux pas parler de ce qui s'est passé avant le combat de Rosario parce que c'est du passé. Je ne veux pas faire d'excuses. Ce n'était pas que je ne me concentrais pas ou ne m'entraînais pas dur. Maintenant, J'ai eu un super camp et je suis prêt à gagner.

"Avec moi, vous verrez toujours un combattant affamé et concentré sur le ring. Je ne sais pas si je serai très différent. Je pense qu'avec un nouvel entraîneur, il faut un certain temps pour que les changements commencent à s'installer.

« J’ai suivi un camp d’entraînement de quatre semaines avant que mon combat de décembre ne soit annulé parce que j’ai contracté le COVID-19. C'était presque un camp complet et cela m'a définitivement motivé pour ce prochain camp d'entraînement pour ce combat.

« Je suis le meilleur combattant de la division. je viens de perdre, c'est tout. LeBron James et Michael Jordan ont passé de mauvaises nuits, Je peux aussi passer une mauvaise nuit. Je suis toujours le meilleur de la division et j'ai hâte de remonter sur le ring.

BRIAN MENDOZA

« Le camp d'entraînement s'est très bien passé. Je suis ici à Las Vegas, trop. je viens de broyer. C'est une très grande opportunité pour moi et je prévois d'en profiter pleinement. Tout le monde peut s'attendre à cent pour cent et tout ce que j'ai en moi.

"Il ne s'agit pas de regarder en arrière le seul défaut de mon dossier et de pleurer sur ce qui s'est passé dans le passé. Il y a toujours un million d'excuses dans les coulisses, mais il est ce qu'il est. J'ai appris de cette défaite et vous avez vu le changement dans mes performances depuis ce combat et à quel point j'étais plus à l'aise à 154 livres dans mon prochain combat. J'ai l'impression que ce prochain combat m'arrachera encore plus. Vous verrez un autre grand saut dans mon niveau de compétence en juin 26.

"Je sens que j'ai tout à gagner dans ce combat et rien à perdre. Je n'arrête pas de dire aux gens le soir du combat que vous n'allez pas voir quelqu'un qui est juste heureux d'être ici et heureux d'en arriver là. J'ai de grands objectifs et c'est le combat parfait. Alors tu vas me voir venir avec tout ce que j'ai et venir pour la victoire. j'ai tout a gagner.

"J'ai l'impression d'attraper Julian Williams au bon moment à cause de l'endroit où j'en suis dans ma carrière. C'est à propos de moi. C'est le bon moment. J'ai 27 ans et je suis pro depuis de nombreuses années. J'ai juste l'impression que la scolarité que j'ai eue commence vraiment à sortir et j'atteigne ce niveau supérieur. Je ne suis pas inquiet de ce qui se passe avec Williams. Je sais qu'il vient toujours avec tout ce qu'il a pour prouver qu'il l'a toujours et qu'il est toujours dans le mix.

"Beaucoup de gens en arrivent à ce point et ils obtiennent un gros combat comme celui-ci et ils pensent qu'ils l'ont fait. Springfield, MO (Juin 16, 2021) – Justin Ridgway will take his biggest step-up in competition when he faces former world title challenger and renowned knockout artist Marcus Oliveira Saturday, Juin 19 at the Civic Center in Neosho, Vous.

The eight round cruiserweight bout will headline an eleven-fight hybrid card known as “Rumble in the Heartland” that features five pro boxing fights and six mixed martial arts bouts.

The popular Ridgway (9-2, 6 KO) hails from nearby Springfield, Vous. and has won his last five fights, with the last coming by second round stoppage of Kent Holland in July of 2019.

Oliveira (26-5-1, 21 KOs) of Mayetta, Kansas is by far the most experienced opponent Ridgway will have faced. Oliveira was an undefeated contender when he traveled to Germany in 2013 to face Juergen Braehmer for the WBA light heavyweight championship, losing a close decision in his opponent’s home country.

Oliveira has knockout wins over former cruiserweight world champion Kelvin Davis, former title challenger Antwun Echols, plus the previously unbeaten fighters Ryan Coyne and Phil Williams.

Las Vegas, NV – The undercard for Tribute to the Kings – Anderson Silva vs. Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. is coming to beIN SPORTS Saturday, Juin 19. The network announces it will broadcast the entire undercard live from Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico Saturday, Juin 19 à partir de 7:00 p.m. EST.

Il affronte quelqu'un d'aussi dangereux que lui, mais deux catégories de poids supérieures à ce qu'il a l'habitude de voir.

"Nous savons que Gervonta est un combattant dangereux. Nous connaissons la menace que nous avons devant nous. Mais je suis tout aussi dangereux, sinon plus dangereux. J'ai été dangereux à 140 livres depuis un certain temps maintenant.

« J'ai de la vitesse, puissance et explosivité, tout comme Gervonta. Mais j'ai la longueur et la stature physique pour présenter des problèmes qu'il n'a jamais rencontrés auparavant.

"Je sais que j'ai un pouvoir qui s'étend du premier tour au tour 12. Il n'a pas l'habitude d'être à ce poids et nous allons voir comment il gère cette montée.

"Je suis confiant car j'ai une grande équipe derrière moi. J'ai eu un super camp d'entraînement. Je vais dans chaque combat avec confiance dans ma préparation. Comme à chaque combat, Je suis plus que préparé pour la nuit de combat.

"Ce sera un feu d'artifice dès la cloche d'ouverture. Nous avons tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour en faire le « combat de l'année ».

"C'est le moment dont je rêve depuis que je suis gamin. Cela montre simplement que tout ce pour quoi j'ai travaillé toute ma vie se déroule maintenant devant moi. Ce n'est que le début et je suis prêt à saisir cette opportunité.

« La préparation se passe très bien. On se sent vraiment bien. Mario est aussi prêt qu'il peut l'être, nous attendons donc avec impatience un combat passionnant. He understands the importance of this fight. It’s a career-defining fight at this stage of his career, so he understands the significance of it. He understands what a victory means and what a setback means. He understands right where he is. His career is still in front of him because he’s a young fighter. But at this stage, it’s a very important fight and a victory would mean a lot.

“You always have to acknowledge ‘Tank’s’ punching power. You have to acknowledge his quickness and his IQ. His attributes appear to be very much real from what I’ve seen. There’s not anything about him that you cannot take seriously. You have to take everything about him seriously. « L'éthique de travail est là. Mario a un plafond haut qu'il n'a pas encore atteint. Il va vers ça, mais quand il est venu ici, il est venu avec un haut plafond. Beaucoup de combattants arrivent et ils ont atteint leur plafond, il n'y a donc pas grand chose à faire avec eux. Mais Mario a beaucoup de marge d'amélioration et de croissance et je dirais que le meilleur Mario Barrios arrive dans quelques années.. Mais cela ne veut pas dire qu'il ne sera pas victorieux en juin 26. Il a définitivement ce qu'il faut pour être victorieux.

The co-main event will see the great Julio Cesar Chavez Senior take the ring for the last time to fight Hector “Little Macho” Camacho, the son of the man he beat in the historic boxing match “Chavez vs. Camacho in 1992.

Camacho will fight Chavez in honor of his late father and Boxing Hall of Famer, Hector "Macho" Camacho, who lost to Chavez in their historic fight in 1992.

In the televised opener of the live Pay-Per-View, Kevin “Diamond Boy” Torres will fight Jorge Luis “Silencioso” Melendez in an eight-round junior welterweight fight. The main card also includes a much-anticipated trilogy bout and rubber match between Omar Chavez and Ramon Alvarez, and a heated 10-round battle for the NABO Super Welterweight Title between Damian “Samurai” Sosa and Abel “Authentico” Mina.

WORCESTER, Masse. (Juin 10, 2021) – Unbeaten lightweight prospect Jamaine «Le technicien» Ortiz (14-0-1, 8 KOs) is a visionary, clearly seeing the day he becomes the first Worcester (MA) native to become a World boxing champion, as well as headlining a show at home in front of thousands of his growing legend of fans, et beaucoup plus.
The 25-year-old Ortiz, former World Boxing Council (WBC) World Youth lightweight, has his sights set on greatness and the boxing world got a glimpse of his vast talent in his last two fights, both showcased on high-profile cards.

“I’ve headlined before, at the Palladium, but fighting at home in front of 5,000 or more fans on television would be great,” reigning WBC United States Silver lightweight champion Ortiz concluded. “That’s something I expect as the People’s Champion. I think it may take me fighting on TV in Las Vegas or Madison Square Garden for casual fight fans in Worcester to get onboard.”
