Philadelphia, PA (Novembre 27, 2017) – Junior medi Tyrone Brunson is looking for a major opportunity in 2018.
Brunson of Philadelphia will first need to get past Manny Woods questo Venerdì notte al 2300 Arena in the ten-round main event of a loaded 12 bout card that is promoted by King’s Promotions.

“I really don’t much about him, but I am not overlooking him. I have had a great training camp, and now I am just winding it down.”
“I am looking for a big year in 2018. With a win il Venerdì, I am looking to face someone in the top ten or top fifteen, but the goal is to be number-one in this stacked division. Citlalli Ortiz Wins Welterweight Youth World Championship Title

Isamary Aquino Brings Home Bronze Medal

GUWAHATI, India (Novembre 26, 2017) — Coachella, California-native Citlalli Ortiz closed out her impressive 2017 Women’s Youth World Championships campaign with a split decision victory over Russia’s Nataliya Sychugova to take her first major international title in Guwahati, India.
“Today feels like one of the best days of my life,” stated Ortiz following her win. “Dopo la lotta, I doubted myself, but I am extremely happy I pulled out the win and it feels amazing being a world champion.”
Ortiz gold medal closes out a strong showing from the young American delegation. Team USA’s other medal, a bronze, was won yesterday by Isamary Aquino of Universal City, Texas.
“I am extremely proud of my performance at my first international tournament,” said Aquino following her medal ceremony. “It was an honor to be able to represent Team USA and bring home a world championship medal.”
The remaining members of the team included: Aidyl Cardenas (Calexico, Calif.),Diana Estrada (Hillsboro, Oregon), Cielo Garcia (Mt., Calif.), Roma Martinez (Umile, Texas), Sharahaya Moreu (Albuquerque, N.M.) e Amy Salinas(Las Cruces, N.m).
This year’s Youth World Championships brought 160 of the world’s top youth female boxers from 36 different countries all vying for one of the 10 world titles up for grabs. Capo allenatore Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and assistant coaches Koroma (Colorado Springs, Colo.) e Jeff Mays (San Antonio, Texas) guided Team USA throughout these championships. The boxers and staff of USA Boxing will begin their journey back home to the United States domani.

Betlemme, PA (Novembre 25, 2017) – Mykal Fox remained perfect by winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Manuel Reyes in the main event of a King’s Promotions promoted card this this past Martedì night at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.
The show was dedicated to former King’s Promotions Director of Operations Desmond Hammond, who passed away last week.

LaManna wins LBF Intercontinental Welterweight title with decision over Amoako

Serrano and Diaz capture WBC Fecarbox crowns

Vermall, Mamedov and Julan remain undefeated
Atlantic City, NJ (Novembre 21, 2017)– Las Sabato notte, Thomas LaManna took home a ten round unanimous decision over rugged Samuel Amoako in the headline bout of an eight bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

Raymond Serrano won the WBC Fecarbox Welterweight tittle with a eighth round disqualification victory over previously undefeated Enver Halili.
The fight was a war that thrilled the crowd at the Claridge. Both guys were rocked several times throughout the contest.
The punches started to get to Halili as he was docked points in rounds six and seven for spitting out his mouthpiece. He spit put the mouth-guard one more time in round eight, and referee Eric Dali called off the bout at 1:34.

Serrano of Philadelphia is now 24-4. Halili is now 10-1.

Jorge Diaz got off the deck to take home a eight-round unanimous decision over Adam Lopez and capture the WBC Fecarbox Super Bantamweight title.

In secondo round, Lopez dropped Diaz with a short right hand. Diaz gathered himself and began countering well and taking rounds. It was a close and competitive fight down the stretch with Diaz taking all cards by 76-75 tallies.

Diaz, 121.4 lbs of New Brunswick, NJ è ora 19-5-1. Lopez, 121.4 lbs of San Antonio, TX è 16-2-2.

Yurik Mamedov won a workmanlike six-round unanimous decision over Vincent Floyd in a welterweight bout.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. (Novembre 21, 2017) – Ex campione del mondo Devon Alexander (27-4, 14 KO) returned to the ring in impressive style as he dominated Walter Castillo (26-5-1, 19 KO) on his way to a unanimous decision in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions MARTEDI TOE-to-toe su FS1 eBoxing Champions su FOX Deportes Martedì night from The Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
“This feels really good,” ha detto Alexander. “I’ve been on a journey that I didn’t expect to go through and I’m thankful to be back in the ring and have my career back.”
Returning to the ring for the first time in due anni, Alexander was sharp from the outset, using the skills that made him a two-division champion to befuddle Castillo. Alexander’s jab found its’ range from the beginning and he slowly began to work in straight left hands that he would land frequently to maintain control of the action.
“My coach was telling me to pick it up throughout the fight,” ha detto Alexander. “The rust got to me a little bit. I know that I can be more active. I really started to feel warmed up later in the fight. I know that I can do way better but I was happy to have this experience.”
In secondo round, Alexander scored a highlight reel knockdown of Castillo as he landed a powerful par of straight left hands sandwich around a right uppercut. Castillo continued to try to walk Alexander down and stayed persistent in throwing power punches as much as he could over the course of the fight.
“He kept moving side to side and didn’t really stay in there and fight,” Detto Castillo. “I wanted him to run less but I just kept coming forward trying to throw punches. I got dazed a little from the knockdown but nothing bad. That was more about his speed.”
Alexander proved to be too sharp throughout the welterweight affair, consistently avoiding Castillo’s big punches and delivering his own varied and effective attack. Dopo 10 round, Alexander was officially back in the win column with a unanimous decision by scores of 100-89 due volte e 96-93.
“I love doing what I do,” ha detto Alexander. “This is what I was born to do since I was seven-years-old. I’m thankful to be back doing what I love.
“I’m going to talk to my coach and my team and see what we can come up with next. I’m ready to fight anybody out there. I don’t have any cuts so I’m ready. I’m on a journey and I’m thankful to be here.”
The opening bout of the telecast saw unbeaten Miguel Cruz (17-0, 11 KO) earn a close unanimous decision over David Grayton (15-2-1, 11 KO) in a competitive welterweight clash.
Both fighters took their time getting started in round one before Grayton broke through in round two and stunned Cruz against the ropes late in the round. Cruz bounced back in round three landing a right hand late in the third round that forced Grayton to tie up and eventually tackle Cruz to the canvas in order to survive the round.
Cruz suffered his first cut of the fight during the round three exchange but fought through the wound under his right eye and dropped Grayton with a jab early in round six to score a crucial knockdown. The intensity of the fight continued into the eighth round when Grayton began to tee-off on Cruz as blood poured from a second cut, this one above Cruz’s right eye.
The back and forth battle continued until the final bell, with both men throwing wildly as the referee attempted to break up the action. Dopo 10 rounds all three judges saw the fight in favor of Cruz by the score of 96-93.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Novembre 20, 2017) – Lo scorso Sabato Boxing Prince Ranch super-lightweight prospect, Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (7-0, 6 KO), remained undefeated with a dominating performance against Ousmane Sylla (1-3-1, 1 KO), Segnare un 4th turno TKO. The scheduled 6-round bout took place at the at the Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi.
