After a couple weeks off, we come back this week to talk about the combat sports world. Tom, Tony and Rich catch up and discuss the events of the past couple weeks and preview upcoming boxing and MMA action. Tom, Tony and Rich pay special attention to last weekend’s awesome UFC card with two of the best fights of the year in MMA to chat about. Eddie Alvarez’s masterful performance against Justin Gaethje was exciting enough, but add in the performance of Yancy Medeiros against Charles Oliveira and that put this card into a category all its own. We also discuss the latest boxing news and Miguel Cotto’s retirement fight. Listen to the broadcast in the player below.

Victor, who has been out of the ring for over two years, will look to get back in the ring in early 2018.

Veteran SHOWTIME Sports® Reporter Jim Gray and Former Play-By-Play Announcer Steve Albert Join 2018 Class Alongside Vitali Klitschko, Eric Morales and Ronald “Winky” Wright

SHOWTIME Sports veteran reporter Jim Gri and former, long-time play-by-play announcer Steve Albert were elected to the 2018 class of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, it was announced by the Hall on Tuesday.

Gray and Albert earned induction into the Observer category, which recognizes outstanding achievements of print and electronic media journalists, spor spikerleri, publishers, yazarlar, historians, photographers and artists. LAS VEGAS, NV (Aralık 4, 2017) – Eight members from the “Pound-4-Pound” spor salonu, Las Vegas’ # 1 amatör boks programı, will compete in the 2017 ABD Boks Elit Gençler Ulusal Şampiyonası & Junior Açık. The five-day tournament will take place in Salt Lake City, ÇIKIŞ, Calvin L'de. Rampton Salt Palace Kongre Merkezi, more commonly known as the Salt Palace, starting December 5th through December 9th.
Only the best boxers from around the United States will compete to see who is the best amateur boxer in the nation. Tüm 15 ve 16 year-olds who win this tournament will make the USA Boxing Team. All others will be ranked #1 in their respective weight classes.
