Sou Samdi swa, pandan ke pifò fanatik boksè Britanik yo te swa nan Manchester Arena oswa ap gade BT Sport pandan Tyson Fury te fè retounen li te tann nan bag la., yon gwo kantite fanatik boksè lokal yo toujou fè pelerinaj nan Jubilee Sports Bank nan Liverpool pou dènye òf pwomotè lokal Kyle Gallagher..
Pandan ane ki sot pase yo, Gallagher te bati tèt li yon trè bon repitasyon pou mete sou bon jan kalite montre, youn kote fanatik lokal yo konnen yo pral pase yon gwo nwit deyò epi yo gade byen matche ak tout batay aksyon prezante kandida lokal yo ak nan Samdi sèvis nòmal rekòmanse..
Nan tèt emisyon an se te lokal pwospè Martin Freeman envenki, kont opozisyon seryezman difisil nan Dmitrijs Ovsjannikovs Letoni.
Sou dènye aparans li, sou yon Gallagher ankouraje montre tounen nan mwa mas, Ovsjannikovs jwenn viktwa sou konpayon jimnastik Freeman a Mitchell Walsh, atravè yon dezyèm tou TKO, ki te ajoute yon ti kras anplis nan epis nan bout patikilye sa a.
Wonn nan ouvèti wè Freeman sou pye devan an, Ovsjannikovs sanble kontante yo kontrekare pou majorite wonn nan, ak okazyonèl atak atak chak fwa opòtinite a leve.
Okòmansman li te plis nan menm bagay la tou nan de wonn, sepandan kòm wonn nan pwogrese Ovsjannikovs te kòmanse vin yon ti jan pi okipe, aktivman pran batay la nan Liverpudlian la, men tout te di ak fè li te toujou wonn Freeman a.
Mouvman Freeman nan twazyèm lan te pòv, li tap boche pafwa, ak Ovsjannikovs byen klè remake sa a epi li te kòmanse gen plis aktif nan apwòch li, tèlman bagay ke souvan li ta corral Freeman nan yon kwen anvan kite dechire ak yon rafal vaksen.
Kwen Freeman a t ap kriye nan chaj yo pou yo soti nan kwen an, pa ka blame yo kòm li te taktik sa a pa Ovsjannikovs ki te mennen nonm yo Walsh te sispann pa Latvian an nan mwa mas..
Freeman te fè li atravè wonn lan, men kounye a se jis youn nan wonn moute kòm twazyèm lan te klèman Ovsjannikovs '.
Kwen Freeman a te travay fòlman sou janm li pandan repo a, men lè klòch ouvèti pou wonn lan sonnen, tout moun te klè ke aksidan an te vrèman boulvèse Liverpudlian..
Katriyèm lan reflete twazyèm lan, Ovsjannikovs kontwole pwosedi yo, men Freeman fouye byen fon epi li siviv wonn nan. Yon fwa ankò nan repo ekip Freeman a te travay di sou chaj yo.
Avèk nòt yo egal ale nan senkyèm Ovsjannikovs te ale nan ofansif la yon lòt fwa ankò., sepandan Freeman, pandan y ap toujou bwete, pa t jis rezoud pou kontrekare, o non, li te deside si li te fè oswa mouri epi li te kòmanse plante pye l 'yon fwa ankò epi kite rip ak gwo vaksen, tèlman Ovsjannikovs te retounen nan yon apwòch defansif ak kontrekare pafwa, anpil nan soulajman nan kwen Freeman a mwen ta panse.
Sizyèm ak dènye wonn nan te yon tanpèt, ankò Ovsjannikovs te ale difisil sou atak la nan yon tantativ pou fè bak Freeman nan yon kwen, sepandan Liverpudlian a pa t 'gen okenn nan li ak kèk ekselan zòtèy zòtèy slugging te swiv., se te yon wonn final sezisman, kontwòl chanje retounen ak lide pandan tout jouk klòch final la.
Apre sis wonn ki te goumen anpil, kat nòt Abit Chris Kelly a li 58-56 an favè Martin Freeman.
Penultyèm bout lannwit lan wè Widnes, Jamie Oldfield nan Cheshire, an aksyon kont Marty Kayes Belfast la, nan yon konkou kat wonn Welterweight.
Plis nan menm bagay la nan twazyèm lan, ak Taylor byen klè genyen wonn nan, sepandan katriyèm lan, alòske menm jan ak tou anvan yo, eksepte kounye a Slikovs te kapab jwenn ranje li dwat ak ateri kèk gwo vaksen.
Apre entèval la, premye ti gason lokal Steven Sunners te fè fas ak Latvian Eduard Belas nan yon konpetisyon kat wonn Middleweight..
Dwa nan koupe a Sunners te ale nan atak la, sepandan Belas se osi konprandr jan yo vini e li te itilize eksperyans li pou anpeche Sunners ateri yon piki grav okòmansman..
Sepandan, Sunners te kenbe kalm epi yo te itilize jab li a gwo efè pou alamòd yon bon ouvèti byen bonè nan wonn lan ak aterisaj yon kò-piki fann..
Belas fè konte a, imedyatman apre rekòmanse Sunners yo te nan tout Latvian an tankou yon gratèl, kite vaksen chak fwa yon ouvèti prezante tèt li.
Li pa t 'tan sa jiskaske yon lòt fann nan zam Latvian an parèt, Sunners te reyaji imedyatman e ankò voye Belas nan twal la.
Belas ankò fè konte a epi defann byen jouk nan fen wonn lan.
Wonn de te kòmanse nan anpil menm jan ak wonn anvan an te fini, ak Sunners nan plen koule ak Belas kouvri moute ak defann ak yon kout kouto okazyonèl pwòp tèt li.
Sepandan, apre apeprè kenz segonn oswa konsa Sunners ateri yon gwo men dwat ki voye Latvian an lou nan twal la., Abit Chris Kelly imedyatman balanse batay la, li pa menm kòmanse konte a, olye de konvoke ekip medikal la antre nan ring la epi ale nan Belas la frape.
Tan ofisyèl nan arè a te jis 22 segonn nan dezyèm tou an.
Jis anvan entèval la, senkyèm batay nan mitan lannwit lan mete ti gason lokal Craig Kennerdale kont Prestwick, Leon Roberts Scotland nan yon konkou kat wonn Welterweight.
Nan plizyè okazyon batay sa a te gen fanatik yo trè vokal kanpe ak bat bravo pou aksyon an, espesyalman yon koup nan echanj doub men, kote tou de gwo chabwak pa sèlman matche youn ak lòt kout pyen pou kout pyen, men tou konbinezon ap koule tankou dlo pou konbinezon.
Katriyèm bout lannwit lan mete Bradley Muldoon kont debut David Calveley nan yon kat wonn.
Dezyèm batay la nan mitan lannwit lan te rankontre premye Lee Cooper ak yon sèl batay veteran Kyle McNicholas nan yon tout Merseyside kat wonn Super Middleweight konpetisyon..
Cooper te pwoche bò kote ouvèti a yon fason detèmine, pran batay la McNicholas dwa soti nan koupe la.
Pandan tout batay la Cooper te byen ak vrèman sou pye devan ak anpil, trè konsantre, Cooper kontwole pwosedi yo plis tankou yon pwospè etabli pase yon avyon de gè debut.
Apre kat aksyon ekselan ranpli jij abit Chris Kelly rezon ki fè nòt batay la 40-36 an favè debut Lee Cooper la.
Batay ouvèti lannwit lan te prezante Ben Hough Warrington nan aksyon, kont Malcolm Richardson nan Blackpool, nan yon konkou Cruiserweight kat wonn.
Right from the off Hough got behind his jab, Richardson responded in kind, however Hough just doubled up his jab and began to back Richardson up towards the ropes.
What followed next was about a minute or so of engaging action, which see Hough on the front foot with Richardson defending his position, then just as Richardson went to let rip with a shot Hough got through the Blackpool man’s excellent defence with a big right, that sent Richardson down heavily to the canvas.
Immediately referee Chris Kelly waved off the fight and the medical team entered the ring.
I’m pleased to say Richardson was perfectly OK, but must praise both the referee and medical team for the prompt actions, as the way Richardson went down it did look like a full on knockout.
Tan ofisyèl nan arè a te 1 minute and 16 segonn nan premye tou an.
Once again a great event from Kyle Gallagher and his team, word is his next event will be in September and from what I’ve heard on the grapevine this will be a ‘don’t miss’ event as not only will top prospects from his stable be in action, but also featured on this event will be a number of unbeaten prospects from abroad.

He’ll have perhaps the toughest test of his career in the unbeaten Easter, who has a lethal combination of size, speed and power that he brings to the ring. With both fighters defending their titles and undefeated records, this is shaping up to be a can’t-miss night of boxing in downtown Los Angeles.”

One of Southern California’s most popular fighters, Garcia returns to STAPLES Center for his first fight since becoming a world champion, and his first in California in seven years. Easter returns to the site of his professional debut, having started his career at STAPLES Center in 2012 after serving as an alternate in the London Olympic Games.
Garcia (38-0, 30 Ko), of Moreno Valley by way of Oxnard, Kalifòni., became only the third fighter in modern history to become champion at 126, 130, 135 and 140-pounds, joining future Hall of Famers Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao, when he defeated Sergey Lipinets for the IBF 140-pound title in March. The 30-year-old relinquished that title so that he can unify the WBC Lightweight World Championship that he won in January 2017 with a highlight reel knockout of Dejan Zlaticanin (Klike souHEREto watch Garcia-Zlaticanin KO video)
These wins, combined with a summer 2017 victory over Adrien Broner, have seen Garcia return to the top of pound-for-pound lists after a layoff of two and a half years. Garcia accrued wins over a list of notable names while winning his first two titles at 126 and 130-pounds, including Orlando Salido, Roman Martinez and Juan Manuel Lopez.
“This is the toughest fight of my career to date,” said the four-division champion Garcia. “Robert Jr Pak. is an undefeated world champion who presents serious challenges that I’m going to have to work hard to overcome. Unifying titles is something I’ve dreamed of doing for many years, and to do it at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles will make it even more special. This is the kind of fight that will help my legacy. To be the best you have to beat the best, and Easter is certainly one of the best out there. I’m very thankful to have this opportunity and I’m going to make the most of it on July 28.”
Representing his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, Pak (21-0, 14 Ko) has made three successful defenses since winning his world title in an exciting contest over Richard Commey in 2016. The 27-year-old delivered a fifth-round destruction of former champion Argenis Mendez to earn the title shot, and since winning the title has held off challenges from Javier Fortuna, Denis Shafikov and Luis Cruz to retain his 135-pound belt.
Easter will be making the move to work with Kevin Cunningham for the first time for this fight and conducting training camp in West Palm Beach with him. Cunningham, the longtime trainer of former world champions such as Devon Alexander and Cory Spinks, spurred Adrien Broner to a strong performance in a draw against Jessie Vargas and Gervonta Davis to a dominant knockout of Jesus Cuellar in their first fights together in April.
“This is a fight I’ve been waiting for and I’m really excited that the time is now,” said Easter. “This is the best fighting the best. These are the fights that boxing is all about. I made the move to train with Kevin Cunningham down in Florida and I think it’s going to help me reach another level. It’s just eat, sleep and train down there. We’re going to be ready on July 28 to put on a show and deliver fireworks.”

LOS ANGELES (Jen 9, 2018) – In an electrifying war that had the STAPLES Center crowd on its feet chanting for more, Leo Santa Cruzdefended his WBA Featherweight World Championship by winning a unanimous decision against four-division world champion Abnè Maresin their rematch Saturday night on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING®.
In almost an exact replica stat-wise of the first fight that Santa Cruz won by majority decision in 2015, the Los Angeles-native and three-division world champion Santa Cruz won on all three of the judges’ scorecards against Mares by scores of 115-113, 116-112, ak 117-111.
Avèk genyen an, Santa Cruz (34-1-1, 19 Ko) takes one more step toward a possible unification fight in the competitive 126-pound division, one of boxing’s deepest.
“Li santi l gwo,” Santa Cruz said. “Abner is a great fighter. He left his heart out there. It was a tough fight but thank God we got the victory. I had to be smarter, that’s why it was not a bigger war but it was a good one.”
Similar to the first time the two Mexican-American warriors met, which resulted in more than 2,000 punches being thrown, a total of 1,992 totals punches were thrown in Saturday’s fight with Santa Cruz throwing 1,061 to Mares’ 931. Santa Cruz landed 357 pwenson konpare ak 208 for Mares.
Manman (31-2-1, 15 Ko) started fast, winning the first two rounds on SHOWTIME’s unofficial scorer Steve Farhood’s card before Santa Cruz kicked it in another gear and went to work.
“It was a ‘Fight of the Year’ like I told you,” di Mares. “I hope you like the fight because we fought for you, Los Angeles. Genyen oswa pèdi, we did it for the fans. Se te yon gwo batay.”
Li te ajoute: “Li se sa li ye. I don’t want to discuss scores. The judges decided that, and that’s it. I’ll do it again. Let’s do it again. Mares-Santa Cruz 3.”
In what SHOWTIME announcer Mauro Ranallo termed a “Featherweight Fiesta,” Santa Cruz dictated the pace from the third round on, utilizing his reach and working off the jab.
Santa Cruz suffered a cut above his left eye in the eighth round. “A cut is a cut, it wasn’t bothering me as much,” Santa Cruz said. “I didn’t let that distract me. I had cuts before. You keep on fighting.”
Manman, a former three-division world champion and a veteran of 10 world championship fights, had famed trainer Robert Garcia in his corner for this fight. “I said it before the fight: whoever wins this fight will be the number one featherweight. Santa Cruz won so he’s No. 1. I tip my hat off to him.”
When asked if he’s the No. 1 featherweight in the division, Santa Cruz replied: “Hopefully I am. I’ll leave it to the fans to decide. Mwen vle Gary Russell Jr. pwochen. I want to unify. I’m ready for everyone, whoever and whenever.”
In the co-main event of the doubleheader, Jermell Charlo (31-0, 15 Ko) recorded a majority decision victory by outpointing former world championAustinTrout (31-5, 17 Ko) to defend his WBC Super Welterweight World Championship. Charlo’s four-fight knockout streak ended in his third world title defense. Two judges scored it 118-108 ak 115-111 in favor of Charlo, and third scored it 113-113.
“Sometimes you knock them out, sometimes you just beat them.” Di Charlo, who has now defended his 154-pound title three times. “I went to fish, I tried to get some trout but I couldn’t catch him on the hook. I know they’re used to seeing me knock boys out but at least they saw me take care of business.”
Charlo recorded two knockdowns in the bout. Trout hit the canvas for the first time in the final minute of the third round as Charlo applied heavy pressure, first connecting on a big right followed by a counter left hook that knocked Trout off balance. Just eight seconds into the ninth, Trout went to one knee on a Charlo left hook to the side of Trout’s head. It was the sixth time Trout had been down in his career. Charlo continued to exert punishment on the game but tiring Trout.
“Take those knockdowns away I won the fight,” said the southpaw Trout, 32, who also went the distance in a unanimous-decision loss against Jermell’s twin brother and interim middleweight titleholder Jermall in 2016. “I can’t make any excuses, the better man won with those knockdowns.
“Both Jermell and Jermall are really good. They are the future. But I’m not done yet. I’m not defined by my results. I’m defined by the risks I take. I’ve taken the risks and I’ve stood my ground every time against giants and killers. And I’m still here.”
More accurate than Trout connecting on his punches the entire fight, Charlo went on a relentless attack in the 10th, connecting on multiples power punches that seemed to faze Trout. Charlo continued his attack in the 11th ak 12th, choosing to stay upstairs as opposed to going to the body.
“Trout will tell you who will win that fight,” Charlo said of a potential unification with IBF and WBA 154-pound titleholder Jarret Hurd. “That’s why he survived 12. If Hurd sat in front of me and took those shots he’s done.”
During the SHOWTIME BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP telecast it was announced that WBC Lightweight World ChampionMikey Garcia and IBF Lightweight World ChampionRobert Jr Pak. will meet in a 135-pound unification showdown between unbeaten stars Saturday, Jiyè 28 live on SHOWTIME from STAPLES Center.
“We were fighting at 140 but I always had my mind set act coming back to lightweight,” Garcia said. “The only fight that made sense was a unification and the fighter available was Robert Easter Jr. He’s a champion and the man to beat. It’s great to be back to finally give my fans here in Southern California a fight. Now that we are I get to give them a unification match and the biggest fight of my career to date.”
“I got my fight on July 28, but there’s been a lot of talk about [Vasyl] Lomachenko and me over the past year. If I get through Robert Easter I’d be unified champ and the only other fight that makes sense is Lomachenko,” li te ajoute.
Easter recently changed trainers and is now working with Kevin Cunningham. “Lomachenko and Mikey are two skillful guys in the lightweight division and two guys I want to fight,” Easter said. “Me and Mikey will do the talking in the ring. My height and my reach will give anyone problems as long as I use them skillfully.”
Saturday’s SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING doubleheader will replay on Monday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME EXTREME.

LOS ANGELES (Jen 9, 2018) – Former Unified Heavyweight World Champion Tyson Fury scored a fourth-round TKO over Sefer Seferi at Manchester Arena in Manchester, Angletè, on Saturday in a bout that was streamed live to U.S. audiences via SHOWTIME Sports social media platforms.
