Erick De Leon takes on Adrian Young this Saturday night in New Orleans

Every time a plane lands in New Orleans, happy travelers throw their hands up in a pre-celebratory fashion of what’s to come during their time in the Big Easy. Silva’s pose however is one he expects to replicate Saturday evening after he defeats hot prospect Teofimo Lopez when the two face off at New Orleans’ Lakefront Arena.

Born in Memphis but living and training out of Las Vegas as a pro, Miller has already scored two stoppage victories this year in his adopted hometown.

 

 

 

“I feel great right now and happy to get back in the ring,” said Miller. “I have a great team behind me and they’re giving me motivation to fight and train even harder than ever. Galarza is another step up for me and someone who I’m very aware of. I have to be patient in this next fight. If I see an opportunity for a knockout then I’ll go for it, but it’s not the plan. I have the skillset. All I can do is go out there, download his plan, and react. My goal is always to give the fans an exciting show while I’m out there.”

McConville Set For Tough First Title Shot, Liverpool Man To Face India’s Goyat

Promoter Kyle Gallagher announced earlier today that unbeaten Welterweight prospect Jonny McConville, is set to challenge Chandigarh India’s Neeraj Goyat for the Professional Boxing Council (ПБЦ) International Silver Welterweight Championship, at the Jubilee Sports Bank in Liverpool on Saturday 8th September 2018.

 

 

 

 

McConville is in fine form and comes into this Championship contest off a first round stoppage win over Belfast’s Michael Kelly back in March this year, his third stoppage win in as many contests, the other stoppage victories being over Marty Kayes in December 2017 and Will Cairns in September 2017.

 

 

 

 

However McConville is in no doubt that this will be the toughest fight of his young career to date, his esteemed opponent on the8th September is not only far more experienced but also Championship experienced, having been crowned the World Boxing Council (ВБЦ) Asian Boxing Council Welterweight Champion following his victory over Nelson Gulpe in New Delhi back in May 2015 and successive successful defences against Ben Kite in New Delhi back in October 2016 and then against Allan Tanada in Mumbai in August 2017.

 

 

 

 

By time Goyat faces McConville he may have successfully defended his title for a third time, as he is currently in camp preparing to defend his title in Canada later this month.

The Reyes-Soler UBF championship bout is scheduled for eight rounds.

Split-T Management Signs Undefeated Power Puncher Anthony Barnes

Њујорк, НИ (Јул 9, 2018)-Split-T Management has signed undefeated super middleweight Anthony Barnes.

Barnes of West Bloomfield, Michigan has a record of 10-0 са 8 нокаута.

The 27 year-old Barnes began boxing at the age of 15, and racked up an amateur record of 62-10 са 25 нокаута.

Barnes was a five-time Michigan Golden Gloves Champion.

The 32 year-old Fedosov was making his 1st start under his new management team, Journeyman Management.

 

 

 

With his new managers, Journeyman Management headed by longtime boxing man, Andrew Zak, along with promoters Banner Promotions and Hitz Boxing, Fedosov will look to position himself in the suddenly hot heavyweight division.

 

 

 

“It took some time, but now he is with his new family,” said Andrew Zak of Journeyman Management.

 

 

 

“Not only does he have a new management team, but now a new trainer in Buddy McGirt. We see him becoming a complete fighter. He is learning a lot from Buddy. And now that he is with our team, he is adding a lot to his game, and we see him being a world champion.”
