World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation Officially Up & Running

Inaugural event set for October on worldwide PPV

 

Chicago (Juli 16, 2018) — Combat sportsnewest organization, World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation (WBKFF), officially announced today that it is fully operational and targeting this October to promote its inaugural professional event, to air worldwide on independent pay per view.

 

 

 

WBKFF principals include CEO Tom Stankiewicz, COO & Director of Operations JC and matchmaker Paul Tyler.

 

 

 

The exact date of this historical event, tempat, complete PPV details, and bouts will be announced during this summer.

 

 

 

WBKFF will soon become the biggest, most popular in combat sports,” JC predicted. “This all started from our passion for hand-to-hand combat and to give fans what they deserve. WBKFF and fan-friendly will be synonymous. We’re going to give combat sports fans what they want and deserve: integrity, passion and fairness.

 

 

 

Newly adopted rules including holding and striking, spinning backfists and hammer fists will be used in all WBKFF fights, which will be contested in a traditional boxing ring for optimum viewing and safety. All men’s and women’s matches will feature five (two-minute) rounds.

 

 

 

WBKFF has actively scouted and recruited battle-tested veterans and promising prospects alike from boxing, beladiri dicampur, kickboxing, Muay Thailand, wrestling and other combat sports disciplines.

The stacked night of fights will see the return of UFC veteran, and newly-crownedQueen of Bare KnuckleBec Rawlings, who will face professional boxer Britain Hart. A veteran of both the UFC and Bellator, Beltran won the heavyweight tournament alternate bout at BKFC 1 when he defeated Tony Lopez in what was widely considered thefight of the nightby both fans and media. Beltran replaces former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez, who has withdrawn from the heavyweight tournament due to injury, but will return on a future BKFC card.

Set to make their BKFC debuts on this loaded night of fights are Chris Lytle, who has a combined 44 victories as a professional MMA fighter and boxer, jeung Charles Bennett, who has had 70 professional MMA fights. Lytle spent eight years fighting in the UFC, and Bennett spent five in Pride FC.

Wilmington, DE (Desember 2, 2016) David Feldman Promotions will announce that former four-division champ and Boxing Legend Roy Jones, JR. will square off against former world title challenger, and Bare-Knuckle Legend Dadan Gunn dina Jumaah, 17 Pébruari 2017 for the Vacant WBF World Cruiserweight Championship.

The fight will be announced at the official press conference on Salasa, Desember 6, 2016 di 2 PM at the Chase Center on the Riverfront, 815 Justison St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
In attendance will be Roy Jones, Jr, Dadan Gunn, Promoter David Feldman, WBF Representative James Gibbs, undercard fighters Joe Tiberi, Henry Stewart, jeung leuwih.

During his twenty-seven year professional career, Jones JR. (64-9, 46 KOs) has secured world titles in four different weight categories – Middleweight, Super Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Heavyweightand is the only boxer in history to start his career as a Light Middleweight and then go on to win a Heavyweight Championship.

In winning the WBA Heavyweight title by beating John Ruiz by unanimous decision in March 2003, Jones JR. made history by becoming the first former middleweight champion to win a heavyweight title in 106 taun.

Jones JR. has victories over former world champions Bernard Hopkins, Antonio Tarver, Vinny Panzienza, James Toney, Mike McCallum, Virgil Hill, Felix Trinidad and John Ruiz.

Gunn, internationally known for being a Bare-Knuckle legend, will put the gloves back on to battle ring legend Roy Jones, JR.
