This will be Young’s 4th consecutive start at The Claridge and 12th overall fight in his hometown of Atlantic City.
Young’s opponent in the scheduled ten-round bout will be announced shortly.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-It was a bittersweet night for welterweight contender توماس LaManna as he won a 10-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining bout in front of a capacity crowd at فندق ذا كلاريدج في أتلانتيك سيتي.

The 11-bout card was promoted by Rising Promotions.

LaManna won the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight title and shortly after, the fighter known as “المكسوة بالذرة” promptly announced his retirement in the ring.

The two traded big blows throughout the bout as Sosa came out very aggressively and was able to land some good right hands. LaManna was giving better of the two-way action, which had the sold-out crowd very enthused throughout the contest.

“Rising Promotions is looking forward to ending the Summer with another great show here at the Claridge. We have a good line up on the card so we are hoping for a packed house, and we are looking forward to staging our first championship bout,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions.
The championship bout is the first major sanctioning body championship bout in Atlantic City in almost three years. (Kovalev vs Hopkins, تشرين الثاني 8, 2014).
LaManna will be looking to win his first belt in the welterweight division. A win will propel him into the rankings as he looks for a high profile bout later this year.

After three rounds that included Ennis’ trademark punishment to the body, Hill’s corner declined to send him back into the ring for the fourth round, handing Ennis his 13th victory, and his 11th by stoppage.

“I only got hit one time during the fight,” said Ennis. “I went in there, and had fun like I always do. He backed up the whole time. When I first came, I was touching him to the body a lot, and that slowed him down. He didn’t come out for the fourth round.”

Ennis returns to the ring in the co-main event 12 أغسطس at Nations Fight Night at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC. Ennis will be the co-feature in what will be his first eight-round bout. “I’m thankful to have been so busy since my debut,” said Ennis. “It keeps me sharp, and I’m excited for my first eight rounder. I’m ready to show more of my talent, and the results of my hard work.”

LaManna dominated the action with power shots that he landed behind a long jab throughout the contest. Velasquez was game as he took a lot of shots and landed an occasional power shot. LaManna sealed the deal in the final round when he landed a flush 4-punch combination that put Velasquez on the canvas.

Young was extremely active as he landed hard combinations with Sosa landing an occasional hard shot to the head.

Since suffering his only professional blemish, ال 28 year-old Pham of Atlantic City, New Jersey has stopped his two previous opponents.
Pham believes he will only get better as his trainer, Chuck Eisenbeis will be back in his corner after being absent from Pham’s last couple of bouts.
“It is good to have him back. He taught me everything that I know,” said Pham. “We have been working on footwork, and my jab. I have seen the improvement everyday. Chuck has been working with some UFC fighters and it is great to have him back.”
In Perez he is taking on a durable fighter, who has faced many top prospects, 13 undefeated fighters and a world champion in Jermall Charlo.

Young of Atlantic City has a record of 16-2 with six knockouts has won five in a row was given the task of fighting Sosa on two weeks notice. Young was training for an all-New Jersey showdown with Juan “الوحش” رودريجيز, الابن. but Rodriguez had to pull out due to an injury.
“My camp has been great. Sosa is a late-replacement, but that really does not matter, because I was preparing for whoever,”قال 29 year-old Young.
