PETERSBURG, Russia (Novembre 9, 2016) – The already loaded M-1 sfida 73: Battaglia di Nart card has been bolstered by the M-1 Global announcement that two American fighters, Sottovento “Bulldog americano” Morrison e “Il finisher” Josh Rettifica Casa, have been added to the 2016 season-ending event December 9th in Inguscezia, Russia.
A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) sarà headliner M-1 sfida 73: Battaglia di Nart in a battle of elite Russian fighters.
Nella co-feature, Piuma campione M-1 sfida Giovanni “Questo è il” Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), combattimento da Slovacchia, defends his title belt against undefeated Russian challenger Magomed Idrisov (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0).

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 chilogrammi) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 sfida 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 sfida 66 (nella foto sotto).
Rettinghouse, il King of the Cage campione, assume Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 sfida 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), combattimento da Slovacchia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 sfida 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor in 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 a M-1 sfida 52, sosta Tural Nizami (vedi foto qui sotto) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 sfida 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. “The fight between Ramazan Emeev and Anatoly Tokov is the most anticipated fight in Russian MMA, “Presidente M-1 Global Vadim Finkelchtein suddetto. “Both Tokov and Emeev are fighters of the elite level, not only in Russia, but in the world. Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0), who was the M-1 Global 2015 Fighter of the Year, returns to action after suffering a torn ligament in his elbow, which forced the Azerbaijan native to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship fight withAleksandr Šlemenko.
The 29-year-old Emeev, fighting out of Makhachkala, Russia, first captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight title in 2012, taking a 5-round unanimous decision from Mario Miranda a M-1 sfida 35, and he successfully won the rematch five months later aM-1 sfida 38, stopping Miranda via strikes in the third round.
In 2014, Emeev lost his title belt to Vyacheslav Vasilevsky by way of a fourth-round knockout (punzoni) a M-1 sfida 51 in 2014. The resilient Emeev, tuttavia, bounced back to regain his throne as M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, using a choke hold to submit Vasilevsky in the opening round at
M-1 sfida 56.
Emeev has successfully defended his title against Luigi Fioravanti, who was unable to continue after four rounds at M-1 sfida 63, and this past April Emeev defeated Brazilian Maiquel Falcao (see picture above) a M-1 sfida 65 in the first round by submission (soffocamento).
