الویل, ماس. (فروری 5, 2016) – Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston dominated last night’s Central New England (Greater Lowell) championship final round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, open and novice classes, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Peter Welch’s Gym had seven winners last night: open – Hyde Park welterweight Jennifer Perella and Brookline light welterweight Abraham Nova; novice – Dorchester lightweightJonathen DePina اور مڈل برائن لارنس, East Boston lightweight Claire Duffy لائٹ ویلٹر ویٹ, Boston light welterweight Katie Gregory and Franklin heavyweight Jared Gately.
Lowell West End Gym and Grealish Boston had the second-most winners last evening with two apiece.
Last night, 15 matches went the distance, including several upsets, along with one technical knockout and a two walkovers.
All CNE finals winners qualified to compete in the upcoming New England Tournament of Champions, also held at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, شروع ہونے والے next Thursday night with the semifinals of the novice division.

All CNE finals winners will advance to the New England Tournament of Champions, also held at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, later this month.

(جنوری 29, 2016) – For the second week in a row all 13 matches went the three-round distance in last night’s Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, featuring open and novice class action, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Returning New England welterweight champion جیویر ویگا, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), تھا 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, of Nashua, NH.
Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston led the hit parade with three winners, all in the novice class: ہلکا پھلکا Jonathan Depina, ویلٹر ویٹ Lipi Fernandes اور مڈل برائن لارنس. (جنوری 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion جیویر ویگا, لارنس کے (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (جنوری. 8) in the Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals of the 70ویں annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) چیلنجر Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.
Vega, who has a 33-3 شوکیا ریکارڈ, didn’t start boxing until he was 17 because he has only one kidney. A construction worker by day, Vega hopes to become a professional boxer and, اگر نہیں, a Lawrence police officer in order to give back to his community.

الویل, ماس. (جنوری 23, 2016) – The Central New England (Greater Lowell) quarterfinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship was held last night at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium with 13 highly competitive matches in the novice class.
تمام 13 matches went the three-round distance for 39 rounds of action that the large crowed enjoyed from start to finish. The super heavyweight match between Dorchester’s 381-pound Ivens Derival and Haverhill’s 266-pound Kyle Davis was of special especially because of their respective sizes. Davis won by way of a three-round decision, 4-1, in a back-and-forth match that had fans standing throughout.
