71st annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship Central N.E. semifinals results

Lowell, Boima. (February 3, 2017) – Fourteen exciting matches were held last night in the semifinals round of the 71st annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, Central New England (Greater Lowell) arola, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The open and novice championship finals will be held next Thursday bosiu (Feb. 9) at Lowell Memorial Auditorium with men’s and women’s matches. See the remaining 2017 schedule of events below as well as last night’s complete results.
Last night’s action included nine novice division semifinals matches, eight men’s and one women’s, as well as four open men’s matches. Two of the open matches featured final competitions (not semifinals like the others) as Boston light heavyweight Taylor Mears, representing The Ring gym, stopped Nahua’s (NH) John Xifaris ea bobeli ho pota-pota, and North Chelmsford lightweight Brandon Higgins edged Dorchester’s Jonathan Depina on points, 3-2.
Gloucester’s Gedney brothers, middleweights Adrien le Henry, both won last night, shutting out their opponents (5-0), ka ho latellana, James Marino, ea Medford, le Furcy Ferreras, of Peabody. The Gedneys will not fight each other next in next Thursday’schampionship final of the novice super middleweight division. They will decide which brother will advance and last night’s opponent of the twin that isn’t advancing, Marino or Ferreras, will advance.
Arguably the most action-packed match last night was between lightweights Jeremiah Perez, of Lowell, le Edwin Rozon, of Haverhill, in the open division. Perez won on points, 5-0, but the game Rozon kept firing despite being dropped in the second round.

From Olympian bouts to professional prize fights, boxing is a spectator sport appreciated by millions globally.
This is White Collar/Master Boxing with Open, Novice and Master boxers. Three rounds of two-minutes each. Amateur boxing rules apply.

71st annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship Central N.E. quarterfinals results from Lowell

Lowell, Boima. (January 27, 2017) – The red-hot action continued in last night’s quarterfinals round of the 71st annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship of the Central New England (Greater Lowell) division as men’s and women’s open and novice matches were held in front of another great and exceedingly loud crowd at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Judges were very busy as all 10 exciting bouts, including a Junior Olympic match and two non-tournament bouts, went the complete distance. Individual standouts included a pair of open division boxers, welterweight Michael Fontanez, of Nashua (N.H.), and Methuen (MA) middleweight Yarmarco Guzman. A representative of Nashua, Pal, Fontanez is a slick, hard hitting southpaw who shutout, 5-0, a very tough Kenny Larson, of Salem (MA). Guzmán, boxing out of Canal Street Gym, looked like a veteran boxer on his way to a 5-0 shutout win over Lowell’s Julien Baptiste.

D and D Management signs amateur star Dylan Price

Philadelphia (January 13, 2017)–D and D Management Team LLC is proud to announce the signing of prized amateur DylanThe Real DylPrice to a management contract.
Price, 18 years old of Philadelphia will compete in the super flyweight division.
Price had an outstanding amateur career record of 112-12, and finished as the number-1 ranked fighter in the United States and number-3 in the world.
I Would like to thank Doc Nowicki and my dad Dave Price for believing in me, and for providing for me even as an amateur. They were always there with the financial support needed so that I was always able to concentrate on the task at hand. I am still a senior in high school, and I am still balancing my school workload with my boxing load, but I always enjoy challenges so it works out,” stated Dylan Price.
I am very happy to sign Dylan (also known as Lil Dave). I have been following him through his amateur career, and I was very proud when he won the bronze medal at the world amateur championship in Russia. We look forward to him beginning his professional career in February and anticipate him having 5-6 fights in 2017,said Doc Nowicki, manager of Dylan Price.
Price will make his professional debut on February 4th in Wilson, North Carolina, and he will make his hometown debut on March 31st ka 2300 Arena.

One of the boxers to watch this year is North Chelmsford’s Brandon Higgins, who represents the Lowell West End Gym.

1ST ANNUAL ROBERTTHE GHOSTGUERRERO FIGHT NIGHT AMATEUR BOXING EVENT

GALT, JOALO KA (September 15, 2016) – Ena Moqebelo, September 17, 2016, the first annual Robert “The Moea” Guerrero Fight Night amateur boxing event will take place at the Guerrero’s Boxing Gym in Galt, Dorella. Thirty separate bouts with fighters from California and Nevada will compete. A “Be The Matchbone marrow drive will take place from 11:00 a.m. ho 1:00 p.m.
This will be a great event for amateur fighters of all ages,” a re Robert Guerrero. “I remember when I was a kid competing in events like this, all I could think about was winning a trophy of some kind. So I’m happy to announce that first and second place participants will receive an award. Holim'a moo, I’m going to do my part to help save lives by registering people into the bone marrow registry. BeTheMatch.org will be there to support the cause.
Tickets turu ka $20 will be available at the door. All proceeds will go to help fund the Guerrero’s Boxing Gym program. Weigh-ins are from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. First fight starts 1:00 p.m.
