BETHLEHEM, PA. (Februar 10, 2016) – Neporažen 2012 U.S. Olimpijski Jamel Herring (15-0, 8 KOs) scored a unanimous decision (100-88, 100-88, 99-89) over Colombia’s Luis Eduardo Flores (21-3, 17 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight bout in the main event of U utorak Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) TOE do pete utorkom na FS1 i Boxing Champions na FOX Sports fight card at Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, PA.

“I was focused on boxing him and not so much worried about the knockout,” added Williams. “I knew I was winning the rounds.”
In the final frame, Tolmajyan, fighting out of Glendale, KAO ŠTO, caught Williams with a shot that nearly ended things.
Williams recalled, “It was an overhand left that he hit me with. And then he came after me again, but the ref and I made contact, so then the ref pushed me away because he didn’t want me to try holding on to him. But once I got my feet under me I was fine.”
Međutim, Tolmajyan wasn’t impressed with Williams saying, “He wasn’t as good as we were expecting and I had him hurt with my left.
“I thought that I was winning the fight to be honest. I didn’t think I was going to lose the decision,” added Tolmajyan.
Williams concluded, “I hope to learn from my mistakes večeras. I got caught with a good punch in the last few seconds večeras, so I just need to work on consistency and fighting until the final bell.”

In addition to his 2012 National Golden Gloves Championship, Martin won three Chicago Golden Gloves and a National PAL championship fighting out of nearby Harvey, Ilinois. An owner of 340 amateur wins, he made it to the United States finals where he lost to eventual Olympian, Errol Spence Jr. Martin turned pro in 2013 and is yet to lose. The 26-year-old picked up four victories in 2015 and will begin 2016 against the 29-year-old Nicaraguan Gomez who will be making his U.S. debi.

“Training is good. I really do not know much about Gomez, but that doesn’t matter much at all because I just go in there and like to fight.”
Martin is ready to showcase his skills for the first time in front of a nationally televised audience and he knows this is just the beginning of positioning himself into bigger fights.
“It is a big step for me. This will show me and the fans how good I am and where I can go in my career.”
Without looking too far down the line, Martin would love a chance at his old amateur rival, Spence. Martin knows that he needs to continue winning and looking good to get that opportunity within in the next year.
“Spence is definitely on my radar. I can see us fighting by the end of 2016 or early 2017. I feel that I will be ready for that fight. He is just one of a few guys that I want to fight on my way to the top. I am just hoping that everyone tunes in on February 9th and the fans will remember my national television debut.”

Bethlehem, PA (Jun 25 2015)–U subotu uveče u Sands Casino Resort Betlehemu, Christian Molina će izgledati da ostanu neporaženi, kada je preuzima veteran Justin Johnson u 6 krugu Jr. Velter bout koji će biti dio 10 bout kartice.

Molina je etablirao kao jedan od najpopularnijih boraca u Lehigh Valley zbog njegove uzbudljive borbe stil i zanimljiv ličnosti izvan ringa.

Molina je naporno jer je priprema za korak do borbe protiv Johnson, koji je uprkos njegovom rekord 6-8, je 4-4-2 protiv 10 neporažena boraca da je bio u ringu sa.

“Obuka je bio dobar. Upravo sada sam samo gledam da težinu i biti spremni za subotu,” rekao je 27 godina Molina.

Molina zna da on mora biti na svoje najbolje što su Johnson ne samo da ima iskustvo, ali također ima neke fizičke prednosti.

“Znam da je 2 ili 3 inča viša onda sam. Imamo neke dobre igre planove i raditi ono što moramo učiniti da osvoji. Znam da je dobar borac.”

Kao što je ranije spomenuto, Molina je izgradio veliki broj fanova u tom području i oni će biti van da navijaju svoje Man on ove subote.

“Mnogo ljudi dolaze da me podrže. Ja stvarno volim to i to me pomaže u ringu. Smatram da nakon par pobjeda, Mogu postati veliki remi jer znam da Portorikanac borba Fanovi iza dobri borci. Ovo je moj prvi šest krugu borbu i znam da su velike borbe su tek dolazi.”

Kaže još više o tome kako Molina je uhvaćen na navijačima kada je došao iz Puerto Rico prije samo sedam godina.

“Sam došao iz San Sebastian, Puerto Rico u 2008 i otišao u Mendez Liciago gimnaziju i diplomirao tamo 2006. Došao sam ovdje sama i da želi budućnost u Americi. Ja radim u skladištu za podršku moje boksu. Ne znam ništa je lako, Ja ću nastaviti raditi naporno i biti najbolji borac tamo i nadam se jednog dana, Ne mogu vratiti u Puerto Rico i boriti se kod kuće.”
