FRESNO, TAL COM (Agost 24, 2015) – Super-welter invicte prospecte, Marc “El boig” Hernández (6-0, 2 KOs) fa el seu retorn al ring Fight Club OC a El Hangar a Costa Mesa, Califòrnia aquest Dijous, Agost 27, 2015 contra Luis Alfredo Lugo (14-22-1, 5 KOs). The 8-round bout will be the third fight of the year for the 6’2 Fresno, CA native and serve as the co-main event of the night. Gestionat per Al Haymon, Hernández està tractant de donar-li als fans una gran actuació com ell mira per romandre invicte.

MONT-REAL, QUEBEC (Agost 17, 2015) – Aquest passat Dissabte al Bell Centre a Mont-real, Quebec, prospecte súper mitjà, Caleb “Sweet-Mans” Planta (9-0, 8 KOs), va mantenir invicte amb un nocaut en el primer assalt sobre finals sub, Zoltan Sera (20-6, 12 KOs). The bout served as the swing bout for the PBC on NBC broadcast, encapçalat per Lucian Bute (32-2, 23 KOs) vs. Andrea Di Luisa (17-3, 13 KOs).

Two-time world champion Steve “USS” Cunningham signs with Al Haymon

Filadèlfia (Abril 21, 2015)–Former two-time world cruiserweight champion and current Heavyweight contender, Steve “USS” Cunningham has signed with adviser Al Haymon.
Cunningham of Philadelphia is excited about the prospects for his future.
“I’m looking forward to working with Al, he’s a genius at what he does. I’ve been watching him for several years and seeing all that he accomplishes for his fighters but have always been on the outside looking in due to contractual obligations. It finally lined up to where we can work together and it’s going to great. I believe my best fights have yet to be seen,”va dir Cunningham
Cunningham has a record of 28-7 amb 13 nocauts. He won the IBF Cruiserweight championship when he traveled to Poland and defeated Krzysztof Wlodarczyk on May 26, 2007. He defended the title by stopping Marco Huck via 12th round stoppage in Bielfield, Germany on December 29, 2007. Cunningham became a two-time champion on June 5, 2010 when he stopped Troy Ross in five rounds.
Cunningham is coming off a controversial split decision defeat to Vyacheslav Glazkov on Març 14 a Mont-real.
Steve and his wife/manager Livvy will be honored aquest divendres night at the 90th annual BWAA Awards dinner as they will receive the Bill Crawford Courage Award for their perseverance while their 9-year old daughter Kennedy went through a life saving heart transplant last December.

Boxing’s most avoided world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux heading to UK next month To publically confront Scott Quigg

SURO, Irlanda (Abril 12, 2015) – Unified super bantamweight world champion Guillermo “El Xacal” Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KOs), arguably the most avoided reigning world title holder in modern boxing history, will travel to London next month in order to publicly confront his mandatory challenger, De Scott Quigg (30-0-2, 22 KOs), the World Boxing Association (AMB) “regular” 122-lliura divisió campió.

“QUIGG, Santa Cruz and Frampton have showed no desire to challenge Rigondeaux,” Hyde va dir. “These three fighters are trying to fool the public into believing that fight el No. 1 guy in the world is not important. While they are lining their pockets with ridiculous amounts of cash for fighting below par opponents, Rigondeaux is forced to wait around until some Asian opponent steps up. This is a sport in which we are accustomed to seeing the best fighting the best but, in the super bantamweight division, it’s the best versus the rest.

 

“Rigondeaux will travel to Manchester to fight Quigg, Belfast to fight Frampton, or Las Vegas to fight Santa Cruz. Next month, Hyde reports, Rigondeaux will travel to the United Kingdom in a bold attempt to embarrass Quigg into fighting him. “I don’t like traveling overseas unless I have a fight lined up,” Rigondeaux explained, “but I will travel to England in May to publicly call out Scott Quigg. If he turns down the chance to fight our WBA mandatory, he will be remembered for that instead of being known as a great fighter. While I’m in the UK, I will also go to Belfast to checkout Carl Frampton to ask if he wants to prove himself against the best in his division.”

 

Understanding that the top super bantamweight action is currently in Europe, noting a record purse ($2.2 million USD) offered for a Frampton vs. Quigg fight, Rigondeaux is considering a major change in the not too distant future, moving his base from Miami to the UK, if that’s what it takes for him to get in on the action.

 

Hyde also manages former WBO middleweight champion and current International Boxing Federation (FIB) No. 1 contendent obligatori Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (31-1, 18 KOs), former WBA Interim cruiserweight champion Yuri “El Toro” Kalenga (21-2, 14 KOs) and Georgian super lightweight Levan “The Wolf” Ghvamichava (14-1-1, 11 KOs) , as well as top prospects such as Cuban super bantamweight Marc Forestal (2-0, 2 KOs), Irish heavyweight Amb Sheehan and Bulgarian light heavyweight Blagoy Naydenov.

ESPN Reaches Multi-Year Agreement to Televise Premier Boxing Champions Series

PBC en ESPN to Air 12 Two-hour Live Shows Annually on ESPN and ABC

Meseta, Califòrnia (Febrer 12, 2015) -Top U.S. Prospecte de pes pesat Dominic “Problema” Breazeale (13-0, 12 Nocauts) torna al ring el proper mes en un dels esdeveniments de boxa més esperats de l'any.
