TUNICA, KISASSZONY (Március 14, 2017) – Középsúlyú versenyző Sergiy Derevyanchenko (10-0, 8 KO) remained unbeaten Tuesday night as he delivered a blistering fifth-round stoppage of previously undefeated Kemahl Russell (10-1, 8 KO) A fő esetén Premier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 & Ökölvívás Bajnokok on FOX Deportes from the Fitz Tunica Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi.
I was so happy to be back in the ring,” said Derevyanchenko. “I felt very good in there. Once I got going and sped it up, he couldn’t keep up with me. I’m ready to take on anyone.
The unbeaten Russian, who fights out of Brooklyn, was at a major height disadvantage against the six-foot Russell, who attempted to control the fight with his jab from a distance. This led to a slow-paced fight early, which seemed to favor the taller boxer.
Derevyanchenko would eventually find the distance as he used double left hooks and feints to work inside Russell’s jab. Round four saw the two men begin to exchange in more flurries dangerous on the inside, with Russell taking the brunt of the damage.
Now fully settled into the fight, Derevyanchenko began to unload in round five and connected on a huge straight right hand that rocked Russell’s head back and put his opponent in immediate peril. Derevyanchenko pounced on the opportunity and began landing big shots in succession until referee Bill Clancy jumped-in to stop the fight 1:06 into the fifth-round.
The co-main event of the night saw undefeated prospect Ahmed Elbiali (15-0, 12 KO) make quick work of Brazil’s Jackson Junior (20-8, 19 KO) as he scored a first round knockout just1:33 másodperccel az első fordulóban.
Elbiali was returning from a 14-month layoff after recovering from a broken hand, but he wasted no time trading big punches. Both men were aggressive early on and dealt big hooks from the opening bell.
Working off of his jab, Elbiali caught Junior in a defensive crouch and connected with a perfect overhand right to the temple that sent Junior to the canvas. Junior was able to get to his feet but was deemed unable to continue by the referee, who called a halt to the bout 1:33 a kerek.
The opening bout of the telecast saw unbeaten prospect Jamontay Clark (11-0, 7 KO) stop a game Gaku Takahashi (15-7-1, 7 KO) after seven rounds of action in their welterweight bout.
Cincinnati’s Clark survived an early stumbled as Takahashi connected with a jab that stunned and stumbled Clark midway through the first round. Clark was able to regain his footing and use his jab as his primary mode of attack.
The southpaw Clark began timing Takahashi with left hands and right hooks and was able to control the action each round. Takahashi attempted to match Clark’s punch output, specifically targeting his opponent to the body, but was unable to land enough clean blows.
Takahashi came out aggressive in round seven and initiated several big exchanges. It was Clark who got the better of these moments, hitting Takahashi with a big left hand late in the round that left his opponent temporarily stunned, although able to return to his corner. Takahashi’s corner had seen enough however and called an end to the fight at the end of the seventh round.

TUNICA, KISASSZONY (Március 13, 2017) – Veretlen félnehézsúlyú kilátásba Ahmed Elbiali is prepared for another opportunity to keep his perfect record intact as he faces Brazil’s Jackson Junior in an eight-round fight featured on Premier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 & Ökölvívás Bajnokok A FOX Deportes Kedd, Március 14.
Televíziós lefedettség kezdődik 9 p.m. ÉS/6 p.m. PT from the Fitz Tunica Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi and is headlined by rising middleweight contender Sergiy Derevyanchenko battling unbeaten Kemahl Russell egy 10 körös viadal.

Here is what Elbiali had to say ahead of the showdown:
On fighting on FS1
It’s a great situation to be fighting on national television, especially FS1. Toe-to-toe KEDDEN has been great for all boxers who are fortunate enough to be showcased. I’m just grateful for the opportunity and everyone tuning in will see me throwing a lot of big shots.
On his current training camp
It’s been a real smooth camp going into this fight. I’m back training in Miami with my coach Carlos Albuerae. When I moved to Las Vegas, we had temporally split up, but now we are back together, stronger than ever.
On facing opponent Jackson Junior
Jackson Junior is a big puncher, as am I, so expect to see some hard blows being traded. Although he’s had more fights then me, I feel I’m on another level. I know he’s coming to knock me out, but I have other plans. He will not be taken lightly.
On continuing his run to a world title
If I want to continue marching up the rankings, coming out victorious against Junior is crucial. The ultimate goal is to win a world title, and I’m going to do everything in my power to get there. This fight is the next step toward achieving that goal. I’m not leaving any stone unturned.
On bouncing back from an injured hand
It was a difficult time for me being out of the ring for over a year with my hand injury. The good news is I’m 100% healthy and my hand feels great. I had a lot of time to reflect on what I need to improve on so that’s what I focused on while I was out. I stayed in great shape the whole time. I just want to get in the ring and shake off the rust.

Undefeated Light-Heavyweight Prospect Ahmed Elbiali Back In The Gym After Year-Long Layoff, Targets March Return

MIAMI, FL (Február 9, 2017)After fracturing his hand last year, unbeaten light heavyweight prospect, Ahmed Elbiali (14-0, 11 KO), is back in the gym. Elbiali suffered the setback in his last bout against Andrew Hernandez, a fight that took place in January of 2016. The Miami based fighter is looking to come back in March, in a bout that most likely will be televised.
The hand is one hundred percent healed and I’m ready to get back in the mix,” mondta Ahmed Elbiali. “It’s been over a year since I’ve been back in the ring, but during the time off, I really focused on staying in shape. I didn’t let the layoff affect me in a way where I was going to be depressed. I worked on a lot of other aspects of my game that I feel I’ve improved on. Now it’s time to get back in there and march toward a world title.
Elibial was on the fast track to the top of the light heavyweight division. He started off his career with nine straight knockouts. In his last two fights, both 8-round bouts, he’s went distance. That experience has helped him gain confidence in his ability to go deep in fights.
When I first turned professional, I had a lot of early knockouts,” Elbiali folytatódott. “It was nice getting my opponent out of there early but I didn’t know who my body would react if I had to go deep into fights. Így, the fact that I was able to go the full eight rounds in my last two fights, gives me confidence going into the next chapter of my career. Most, I’m just eager to get back in the ring and shake off the rust. I know with hard work, I’ll have an opportunity to become a world champion. That is the ultimate goal.

Briones charged back hard in the second though, landing a left in the opening minute of the round that seemingly shocked Flores. Flores threw punches furiously trying to push Briones back and maybe even end it early.
Flores used much of the third and fourth to settle in and land heavy lefts to the body, clearly establishing himself as the stronger fighter. During the action, Briones suffered a cut that opened up over the left eye.
Briones, making his U.S. bemutatkozás, was the victim of a low blow early in the fifth and took a few moments to regain himself. As the fighters continued, Brionescut opened more.
Menstruáció, who was also showing signs of a small cut over his left eye, opened the round controlling the action in the sixth. Viszont, Briones showed no quit and fought back to regain his confidence and advance to another frame.
The seventh round saw both fightersleft eyes gush blood as the pair threw shots furiously, hoping to end the contest. Flores was hit below the belt, but both fighters showed tremendous will as they survived to extend the fight. The eighth went on as Flores and Briones exchanged toe-to-toe blows in the center of the ring.
Briones, who appeared to control the pace and distance for much of the ninth, had lots of success landing on the inside. But as the round came to a close Flores fought back refusing to be denied.
Flores opened up the tenth landing a determined double left to the body. A harcosok’ heads collided shortly after the start of the round, causing both to take pause. Briones seemed the more seriously hurt of the two after the incidental head butt, but both elected to continue, taking the fight the distance.
The opening televised bout featured undefeated light heavyweight prospect Ahmed Elbiali (14-0, 11 KO) winning an eight-round unanimous decision (78-74, 77-75, 77-75) felett Andrew Hernandez (10-4-1, 2 KO).
After finding their distance, both landed heavy blows in the first. Elbiali managed to connect on a big left hook as the opening frame came to a close.
Hernandez, coming off just two weeks of rest, looked sharp in the second round, landing his right repeatedly. But Elbiali came right back back with another left hook.
A harmadik, Hernandez controlled much of the round from the outside, backing up Elbiali with the jab to set up combinations. Hernandez landed a shot that seemingly stunned Elbiali and then followed with a flurry to close out the round.
Hernandez carried his momentum over into the fourth and used his experience to make things difficult for Elbiali. Elbiali stalked Harnandez, hoping that the big shot would connect, but failing to land on the big one. As the round came to a close, Elbiali ate another big right hand.
Elbiali, a native of Cairo, Egypt, came out aggressive in the fifth and then stunned Hernandez early in the sixth. Elbiali landed a flurry of punches before Hernandez was able to gather himself and continue. Elbiali, knowing he had Hernandez close, tried to end the fight, but Hernandez survived the punishment.
Both fighters showed signs of tiring as the seventh round wore on, and Hernandez seemed to let a fight that was well within his grasp slip away. More of the same continued in the final round of the bout as Elbiali showed his skill and confidence. Hernandez reminded Elbiali that they were still in a fight, landing a one-two with :30 left, but Elbiali proved too much for Hernandez.
The second televised bout showcased undefeated welterweight Bryant Perrella (13-0, 12 KO) getting a technical knockout win over Ramon Ayala (23-6-1, 11 Kos) csak :10 in to the third round.
Perrella was able to stun Ayala early and continued to use his left to back Ayala down. Perrella kept his distance in the first, staying calm and balanced. A frustrated Ayala retaliated landing a couple of blows after the bell.
The second round saw Perrella control the action, breaking Ayala down and getting the better of the exchanges while landing combinations throughout.
Ultimately the barrage of punches early on was too much for Ayala who retired between rounds before the start of the third.
Below is what the televised fighters had to say about their performances tonight:
MIGUEL FLORES
The game plan was to box. In the middle rounds I fell asleep and fought a little too much on the inside, but we got the win tonight.
My speed and my youth helped me get the victory tonight. My footwork was also very important in getting the win.
The the only thing that frustrated me was I couldn’t knock him out. I thought I was going to get him out of there, but it was a great learning experience for me.
Tons of people just saw who I am and how I fight. I want to thank PBC and FS1 & FOX Deportes for allowing me this opportunity to make a name for myself and help grow our sport.
I don’t want to call anyone out, but I’m going be back to work soon. The featherweight division is going to mine, and by the time I get my shot at a title I’m going to be ready for the best.
AHMED ELBIALI
Things never go like we anticipate. My plan was to feel him out a bit more, but I hurt my hand in the first round. I don’t want to make any excuses, but I was hoping to be able to box him a little more.
My biggest advantage tonight was my size, youth and power. He had the experience though, and he looked decent in spots.
He was a smart veteran. He clinched a lot and did some things that crafty veterans know how to do.
Fighting on a PBC card boosts my profile and is great for my career. I’m looking forward to my next PBC fight card.
I really just want and need to improve with every fight. That’s all I can worry about. I’ve got to get this hand feeling better, but then work on making the adjustments to be better next time out.
ANDREW HERNANDEZ
I planned on stopping him. He’s a much bigger guy. I’m a natural middleweight, but it was a great chance to fight a quality fighter.
I felt like I could have stepped on the gas a bit more, worked more on the inside. We also know that he’s a dangerous guy though, so you have to be careful.

I thought that I did enough to win, but obviously the judges didn’t agree with me. I think the fans who watched think that I won, but I’ll be back.

BRYANT PERRELLA
I really wanted to just go in there and flow tonight, not rush to knockout. I was hoping to establish my jab and win round by round.
The work and training that I put in got me here and helped me get the win tonight. I eat, sleep and breathe boxing. My strength, power and speed helped me a lot tonight.
He jumped in and hit me a few times with his head, so that made me a little hesitant to get in there on the inside.
Being able to fight on a BPC card is a blessing. Being able to do what I love to do, this is just a dream come true fighting on FS1 & FOX Sports.
I’d love to face some of the guys that I had strong fights with in the amateurs, Errol Spence Jr. being one of them. We have some unfinished business that we’ll have to take care of in the future.

Here is what Flores had to say about training, ellenfelét, és több:
On his relationship with longtime coach Aaron Navarro:
Aaron is an unbelievable coach and mentor. I’ve been with him since I first laced up a pair of gloves at age 8. He knows how to push me while getting the best out of what God has blessed me with. Together we make a great team and I have a great deal of respect for him. He’s one of the best trainers in boxing.

On fighting in the main event on

Toe-to-toe KEDDEN:
This is another wonderful opportunity for me to show everyone that I can fight at the top level. I’m very grateful to FOX Sports for showcasing me in the main event. Anyone who’s seen me fight knows I like to fight toe-to-toe. Against Briones, it will be no different. I’m coming to bring an exciting fight to everyone who’ll be watching.
On his current training camp:
Training camp is never fun. The grind is grueling but well worth it when I look back on all the hard work, especially when I’m victorious. I had a tremendous amount of good sparring with some very good fighters. Ezenkívül, Én nagy alakja, and I’m prepared to go the distance if the fight goes into the later rounds. I’m very hungry and my goal to win a world title is not far away.
On his matchup with Mexico’s Mario Briones:
Anytime you’re up against a fighter from Mexico you know you’re in for a tough fight. Briones is a veteran of over 30 fights so I know he’s got some tricks up his sleeve. I’m expecting a very rugged fight but one I feel I can win. The fans are going to see a classic Mexican war.
On fighting in his home state of Texas:
Being that I’m from Houston, I love fighting in Texas where all my family and friends can attend and watch me fight. San Antonio is not that far away from home so I’m expecting a nice hometown crowd to be there in the stands. I’m looking to make a statement and represent Texas to the fullest.
