Raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, Serrano gravitated toward boxing from watching her older sister Cindy, also a professional fighter. NEW YORK (Bulan April 17, 2017) – SHOWTIME Sports has unveiled the network’s complete spring 2017 boxing schedule following today’s earlier announcement that the heavyweight boxing event of the year will be televised hidup di SHOWTIME. The stacked lineup includes seven world championship fights across eight live boxing telecasts over an eight-week span.

The bout will also determine the next opponent for WBC champion Adonis Stevenson in a clash that will be one of the most important and the biggest fights in Canadian boxing history.”
Romania-born Bute (32-3-1, 25 Biaya), who is a Canadian citizen living in Laval (Kanada), held the IBF 168-pound division title for nearly five years (Oktober. 19, 2007-Mei 26, 2012), when the wildly popular southpaw ranked among the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world.
Bute has a sterling 10-2-1 (8 Biaya) record in world title fights and he has defeated six world champions: Dingaan Thobela, Saki Taurus, Alejandro Berrio, William Joppy, Brian Magee dan Glen Johnson.
The WBC No. 7-ranked Bute will celebrate his 37th birthday four days after his fight with Alvarez. All three of his pro career losses have been to world champions: Jean Pascal, Carl Froch dan James DeGale.
The 32-year-old Alvarez (21-0, 10 Biaya), berjuang keluar dari Montreal, is a native of Colombia, where he was a decorated amateur, capturing a gold medalist at the prestigious 2007 Pan-American Games, in addition to being a 2008 Olympian in Beijing, Cina.

GROUPE YVON MICHEL’S TOP FIGHTERS JOIN VADA/WBC CLEAN BOXING PROGRAM

Montreal (Bulan Agustus 10, 2016) – Groupe Yvon Michel’s (GYM) world-ranked boxers have enrolled in the new VADA/WBC Clean Boxing Program (CBP), created by Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (GO) and the World Boxing Council (WBC).
Adonis Stevenson, Lucian Bute, Eleider Alvarez dan Artur Beterbiev will now participate in a serious new protocol in which they may be blood and/or urine tested anytime, 365 days per year. They must be available at all times for an unexpected test.
All of the WBC champions and WBC top 15-ranked fighters have until Bulan September 9 to conform to the new protocol or they will be removed from the WBC rankings and suspended from any activity in the WBC.
”This is a step in the right direction but what will really be important in the next few years is for this structure to always keep improving in order to properly regulate professional boxing,” pelatih Marc Ramsay tersebut.
”Untung Saja, boxing is rarely the target of doping cases, but tightening the rules can only be beneficial to prevent tempted athletes to follow the wrong path,” added GYM vice-president, operations and recruitment, Bernard Barré.
”I am fully in favor of these new measures so all of us in the program will be playing on the same plain field,” remarked Stevenson, the WBC world light heavyweight champion.
“The WBC is proud to see the exemplary dedication of GYM for the welfare of the sport and we are grateful for their support to enroll Champion Adonis Stevenson and all of their WBC top 15-ranked fighters in the WBC – VADA Clean Boxing Program,” WBC Presiden Mauricio Sulaiman berkomentar. “The CBP is the first ever attempt in our sport to have a safety platform for our athletes and, lebih penting, to share the much needed information on PED´s and illegal procedures which could harm our heroes of the ring.”

QUEBEC CITY (Bulan Juli 30, 2016) – Juara dunia kelas berat ringan Adonis “Manusia unggul” Stevenson (28-1, 23 Biaya) memberikan kemenangan KO atas reel Thomas “Dogg atas” Williams Jr. (20-2, 14 Biaya) di babak keempat dari acara utama yang menarik Premier Boxing Champions pada tanggal Paku Hari Jumat malam dari Pusat Videotron di Kota Quebec, Kanada.
