Boyd Melson to appear on Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club

New York, NY (August 16, 2016) – Boyd “Rainmaker” Melson will sit in with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God as a special guest on Power 105.1 FM’s critically acclaimed Breakfast Club Wednesday, August 17 la 9:30 AM ET.

Known as “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show,” the Breakfast Club is a syndicated radio show based out of New York City that airs in 15 Piețe. On August 15, he was the humanitarian honoree for the New York Sportscene Children Foundation’s annual fundraiser. Garza, 24, was an outstanding amateur boxer in Mexico, where he compiled a 120-12 record, earning a spot on the Mexican National Team. In luna iunie, Garza won a thrilling 6-round decision over previously unbeaten Erasmo Garcia (5-0-1) at the DLVEC.

The always entertaining Macias, 25, who crows like a rooster in the ring before and after fights, had fans on their feet in his last fight, which was a non-stop brawl at the DLVEC with Limberth Ponce this past April, ending in a unanimous 8-round decision for Macias.

“It’s going to be a great weekend of fights on Spike. Vineri, you got top level MMA fighters like Benson Henderson throwing down. He’s always giving the fans their money’s worth. He’s going to realize once he’s in the ring with me that I’m not some washed up fighter like some may think. “It’s very important that I win this fight at all cost. The welterweight division has plenty of good fighters that I want to get in the ring with. So it’s a must that I win this fight. I’m not taking Peralta lightly. I’m coming to win and win impressively.”

Televised coverage begins on NBC at 5 p.m. ȘI/2 p.m. PT following the Olympic Men’s Basketball Gold Medal Game. For Spence Jr., it was the experience of being around world class athletes such as the members of the USA Men’s Basketball team that he remembers most vividly about his time in London.
“I’ll never forget meeting all of the athletes that I had grown up watching,” a spus Spence Jr. “I got to meet Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, the Williams sisters and Usain Bolt. Just being able to talk to them and be around them was amazing. I was an Olympian just like them.
“It was a big moment for me when people like that would recognize me and tell me they were going to come watch me fight. That’s something I’ll always remember.”
While Spence Jr. had the best run of any of the men on the 2012 S.U.A.. echipă, he came up short of his goal of bringing home a medal for his country. Despite that, Spence Jr. wouldn’t change anything about his 2012 experienţă.

“I wish them the best of luck and I think we definitely have some gold medal hopefuls like Shakur Stevenson and Claressa Shields. They’re going to come home with gold and it’s going to be big for U.S boxing.”

Thomas LaManna Boxes Dusty Hernandez-Harrison For USBA Welterweight Title Sept. 15 On CBS Sports Network From Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – Welterweights Thomas Lamanna și Dusty Hernandez-Harrison will square off in a scheduled 10-round bout for the vacant USBA Welterweight title on Joi, Șapte. 15, in a highly anticipated showdown at the 2300 Arenă. DENNING INKS NEW NEF DEAL; WILL FACE TRAHAN AT NEF 25

Lewiston, Maine (August 15, 2016) - Lupte New England (NEF) revine la Lewiston pe Septembrie 10, 2016 with the fight promotion’s next event, “NEF 25: HEROES & VILLAINS.” Mai devreme astăzi, NEF executives announced the re-signing of Lewiston featherweight mixed-martial-artist Matt “Ken Doll” Denning (3-3) to a new developmental deal. “I’m excited to have signed another contract with NEF,” a declarat Denning. “I was planning on retiring, but I still have too much fight left in me. I haven’t been doing great record-wise, but if people have seen the opponents I have faced and the performances I put on, they know I’m evolving.”

 

Denning, un membru al Central Maine Jiu-Jitsu brazilian (CMBJJ), has had eleven of his thirteen combined amateur and professional fights in the NEF MMA cage. He signed his first developmental deal with the promotion in the fall of 2014. Denning got off to a 2-0 start as a pro before dropping three of his next four. He says that his new focus will be on improving his abilities through tough fights rather than trying to pad his record.

 

“I’m excited to fight Taylor Trahan. He’s a tough, luptă grea, but I wanted it. I need the motivation to get back in prime shape like I was when I fought Jeremy Tyler and made my pro debut against Derek Shorey. I’m over records. I’m done with everyone’s opinions. Looking at the length of his career, it is hard to believe Taylor Trahan is only 25-years-old. The native of Littleton, New Hampshire, and current resident of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, made his amateur MMA debut back in 2009, shortly after his 18th birthday. Seven years and 26 fights later, Trahan is recognized as one of the most prolific competitors in all of New England MMA. While he has fought in every corner of the region, Trahan has yet to step into the NEF MMA cage. He predicts that he and Denning will put on an exciting, fight-of-the-night performance in his NEF debut.

 

“I’m looking forward to being a part of NEF 25,” said Trahan. “NEF always puts on a great show. I’ll be fighting Matt ‘Ken Doll’ Denning. He’s a game opponent, but I see holes in his game that I’ll be looking to exploit. I predict the fight having a lot of fireworks and being fight of the night.”

Before a euphoric crowd who attended the coliseum Samuel ‘Sammy’ Rodriguez of Aguas Buenas, favorit locale, Yomar ‘The Magic’ Alamo ( 11-0, 8 KO ) scored a impressive second round TKO over Edgardo ‘Indio’ Rivera ( 7-4-2, 5 KO ) to capture the WBC FECARBOX super lightweight title.
This match marks the first WBC fight held in Aguas Buenas.
“Making history in my town is a big deal,” said Yomar Alamo, “I was prepared to leave everything in the ring, and the results were spectacular. Acum, I will take a short break and return to the gym as soon as possible because major challenges are coming up and I have to be ready”.
Yomar’s younger brother, Yamil (1-0, 1 KO) successfully debuted by winning by knockout in the first round over Orlando Fernandez (0-4) in the junior welterweight division.
Former National Champion, Fabian Lopez (1-0, 1 KO) defeated Miguel Cruz ( 0-1 ) by TKO in the third round in the middleweight division.

Ivan Baranchyk Joins Four State Franchise; Signs with Holden Productions

Tulsa, BINE (August 13, 2016) – Holden Productions has announced the signing of unbeaten junior welterweight sensation Ivan Baranchyk to a promotional agreement. As a member of Holden Productions’ stable, Baranchyk joins the Four State Franchise.
Holden Productions will promote the 23-year-old along with DiBella Entertainment and Fight Promotions Inc. The Four State Franchise, which regularly fights in front of sold out crowds packed with energized fans, also includes Trey Lippe-Morrison, Kenzie Witt-Morrison, Jarrett Rouse, Dillon Cook and Jesse Cook.
Living and fighting out of Brooklyn, NY by way of Russia, Baranchyk is 11-0 cu 10 victorii prin knock-out. Baranchyk’s last two bouts were held in Tulsa at the Buffalo Run Casino, where he knocked out previously unbeaten foes Nicholas Givhan and Eliseo Cruz. The all-action brawler, who scored a highlight reel one punch knockout against Givhan, became an instant hit at the Buffalo Run and a fighter Tony Holden had his eye on.
Holden said of Baranchyk, “The fans here love him and I’ve had Ivan on my radar since his first appearance here. VERONA, NY (August 13, 2016) – Undefeated rising contender Miguel Flores (21-0, 9 KO) defeated exciting featherweight contender Ryan Kielczweski (25-2, 7 KO) prin decizie unanimă (97-93, 96-94, 96-94) în cazul în 10-a rundă principal al Premier box Campionilor pe ESPN și ESPN de la Turning Stone Resort Casino din Verona, New York.

Kielczweski said, “I thought we fought a great fight tonight for the fans. I started a little slow, but I really picked it up in the fifth round.”
The increased activity was a little too belated to salvage the fight for the Quincy, MA native.
Kielczweski added, “I was gaining steam in the second half of the fight. I can’t say that I won, but I thought it could have been a draw. It was a good fight though, and I will be back.”
An excited Flores said, “It felt great to get this win tonight. I boxed and banged it out with (Kielczweski). He had some pop, and in the last round he got me with a good body shot, but we are used to tough fights like this. I like it like that. This is fun to me. We will watch the video and correct what I know were a lot of mistakes, but I believe I’m ready for the next level. I’m ready for the top contenders.”
Televised coverage kicked off with Olympic bronze medalist Yordenis Ugas (16-3, 7 KO) defeating contender Jamal James (20-1, 9 KO) prin decizie unanimă (99-91, 98-92, 96-94) in a technical 10-round welterweight showdown.

Ugas added, “I followed my corner’s instructions and won round by round. I felt very consistent in there tonight.”
Knowing that he’d come up short, James said, “I thought it was a good fight. (Ugas) brought it tonight. I was fighting his fight unfortunately. I started to outpoint him late, so I should have started earlier with my combinations and countering. I was trying to knock him out and I should have just boxed.”
James added, “I have no excuses though, I am a grown man and could have said ‘no’ to taking this fight. But fighting is what I do. Other fighters are not doing what I did tonight. Sigur, if I had more time to prepare I might have done better, but I am a fighter.”
On his prospects moving forward, Ugas said, “After the long layoff, this is a new beginning for me, and now I am looking for a big opportunity in my next fight. It felt good to get back to fighting.”
A resilient James summed things up adding, “A fight like tonight makes me hungrier to get back in the gym and get myself ready to come back again better than ever.”

LUCIAN BUTE VICTIM OF CONTAMINATED SUPPLEMENT MADE BY PHARMAGENIC
