יום רביעי will be the arrival into New York. Registration and orientation will be from 12:00 צהריים ל 5:00 pm. The brackets and match ups will be set following the registration. The gym will be available for loosening up and working out free of charge from

Thursday evening will start the quarter-finals.

The Boxing Camp
If you like boxing you will love the Camp
The camp will include intensive boxing discussions, training sessions, sparring sessions and training drills. At the end of the camp you will have the chance to showcase your new skills in our Camp Sparring Show.
The camp will give you the chance to learn from world-class trainers, Hall of Fame boxers and World Champions both past and present. Professional and amateur sparring partners will also be available to help with your training. גברים, women and children are all welcome. No previous boxing experience is necessary. All levels of skill from beginners to veterans will be present at the camp.

Lewkowicz Congratulates ‘Pilon’ Lara for Smashing KO of Briones

Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz wishes to congratulate undefeated featherweight, חורחה “עֱלִי” Lara of Mexico, for his sensational stoppage of Mario Briones last Saturday night.
Fighting in the nationally televised semi-final bout in support of David Benavidez’s eighth-round KO over Rogelio “Porky” Medina at the Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, טקסס, לארה (29-0-2, 21 קוס) returned in impressive fashion from a 13-month layoff to TKO his countryman Briones (28-6-2, 21 קוס) בסיבוב השלישי.
מהיר, powerful and relentless, לארה, a 26-year-old southpaw from Guadalajara, dropped Briones twice in round two and then finished the job at 2:03.
The performance was particularly remarkable, considering Lara was coming off an extended layoff due to a hand injury suffered in his previous fight, a career-changing KO over multiple-time world champion Fernando Montiel, as well as a gunshot wound suffered in a botched robbery attempt in Mexico.
Lewkowicz says Lara will now be chasing the big game in his weight class, especially WBC Featherweight Champion Gary Russell Jr.
