“I must start good in the first round and let him know that I’m here to win the fight. And I’ll be the new champion.

 

“I’m always a fighter that goes forward and pushes guys back, but I am now ready to fight backwards if I need to. I’ll show the best Andrzej Fonfara this time.

 

“I’m going to win the fight. A world title is the only thing I’ve never had. I’ve imagined raising my hand after the fight and becoming the new WBC champion.”

“I’ve been in some battles, but my tank is still full.

МОНТЕ ЦАРЛО, Монако (Мај 29, 2017)- Host team Kyrgyzstan captured top team honors at the recent third annual World Mixed Martial Arts Association (ВММАА) Asian Championships, recently held at Suyumbaev Stadium, Osh, Киргизстан.
The wonderful host city of Osh is the second largest city in Киргизстан, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country, often referred to as the “capital of the south”. It is the oldest city in the country, estimated to be more than 3000 година стар, and it has served as the administrative center of Osh Region од 1939. The city has an ethnically mixed population of approximately 255,800, according to 2012 reports, comprised of Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Russians, Tajiks, and other smaller ethnic groups.
Ulukbek Omurzakov, the president of Kyrgyzstan MMA Federation, deserved kudos for insuring that the 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships would be held at the highest level in all respects.
In addition to Omurzakov, numerous highly-ranked guests were also present at the arena during competitions, including the Kyrgyzstan Republic President’s advisor, Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov, Vice Prime-Minister Zhenish Razzakov, Osh city Mayor Aitmamat Kadyrbaev, Minister of Interior Suyunbek Omurzakov, MP’s Aaly Karashev, Iskender Matraimov, WMMAA president Вадим Финкелхтејн и многи други.

The 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships were held in 10 weight divisions, eight for male fighters, as well as two brand new divisions for female fighters, in which China won both weight classes.

Individual team competition was held in accordance with the “Official Rules of Mixed Martial Arts Competition, subject to WMMAA approval. Including revisions, additions and clarifications of certain clauses. Matches were held in accordance with the Olympic system including two third-places in each of the 10 weight divisions.

ОРЕНБУРГ, Русија (Мај 27, 2017) – A new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion was crowned last night as Дамир Исмагулов knocked out former champion Максим Дивницх at the end of the fifth and final championship round in the М-1 Цхалленге 78 main event at Orenburg, Русија.
М-1 Цхалленге 78 was a true international event with fighters representing eight different countries: Русија, Бразил, Белорусија, САД, Уједињено Краљевство, Шведска, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.
Исмагулов (11-2-0, М-1: 7-1-0), fighting out of Russia by way of Kazakhstan, fought Divnich (13-3-0, М-1: 7-3-0) код куће, у Оренбург, for the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title, where Divnich had lost his title belt in 2015.

Former three-time title challenger Groves and former champ Chudinov (14-1, 10 КОс) will meet for the vacant WBA Super Middleweight World Championship in a matchup of the WBA’s No. 1 и не. 2 challengers in a co-featured bout at Bramall Lane.
