JUNE 1ST, 2ND and 3RD 2018
Atlantic City, N.J. – November 7, 2017 – The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame is proud to announce its second Annual Induction Ceremony & Celebration Weekend. Our esteemed Nomination Committee has completed the nomination and voting process; and the names of all luminaries who will be inducted into the 2018 Kelas Induksi, will be announced Hari Senin, November 27, 2017, via an official press release. This year’s group of Inductees is comprised of Boxers, Pelatih, Promotor, Manajer, Matchmakers, Historians, Kontributor Khusus, and Posthumous individuals. All who have played a major role in making Atlantic City atop boxing destination in the U.S.A.
The countdown to Induction Weekend has begun as plenary meetings are already underway. Over the next several week’s updates on room packages, schedule of events and expected celebrity appearances will be posted on the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame and the Claridge Hotel websites and social media platforms.
During last year’s inaugural three-day celebration – ACBHOF showcased the Fight Fan Experience – a festive boxing-themed environment that included a Boxing Fantasy Camp, Pop-Up Barber Shop, Jack Johnson Exhibit, Icons of Boxing, The Legacy Exists Joe Frazier Scholarship Fund, James O’Neal Sculptures, Cake King of Queens, The Press of Atlantic City Exhibit, WBC Boxing, Food vendors and music by DJ Young Hitta.
The master of ceremonies for the ceremony was President of NJ Boxing Hall of Fame, Henry Hascup. Last year’s star-studded Charter Class members included: Don King, Michael Spinks, Larry Hazzard, Steve Smoger, Mike Rossman, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Frank Gelb, Don Elbaum, J Russell Peltz, Dave Bontempo, Ken Condon, Robert Lee, Sr., Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson.
Some of last year’s VIP guests included: Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian, Councilman Frank Gilliam, Dr. Nina Radcliff, Whitney Ullman, Jill Diamond, Flo Anthony, Aaron Snowell, Lillo Brancato, Alan Goldberg, Ray Mercer, Mark Breland, Iran Barkley, Manusia es John Scully, Tracy Patterson, Milton Luban, Chuck Zito and the Grandy Twins. GILROY, Kalif. (November. 7, 2017) – Unbeaten Colombian power-puncher Janer Gonzalez (19-0-1, 15 Biaya) takes a major step up in competition when he faces unbeaten Russian prospect Radzhab Butaev (7-0, 6 Biaya; WSOB: 9-1) Jumat ini, November. 10, at the Masonic at Templelive Cleveland in downtown Cleveland. Tri-Star Boxing Promotions returns to Nashville December 8

Nashville, TN (November 7, 2017) – Junior flyweight sensation Edwin Reyes looks for his fourth straight victory when he challenges Santos “Titos” Vasquez in the eight round main event of Tri-Star Boxing’s “Fights at the Fairgrounds” Hari Jumat, Bulan Desember 8 at the Fairgrounds Sports Arena in Nashville.

Sampson Boxing’s newest promotional signing, Argentinean amateur star and two-time Olympian, Alberto “Impacto” Melián, will be taking the “Lomachenko” route into the professional ranks by facing Diego Ricardo Santillan (23-2, 15 Biaya) in an eight-round bout for his first professional fight on Hari Sabtu, Bulan Desember 16, at the Macro Stadium of the Argentine Federation of Boxing (FAB) in Buenos Aires.

BROOKLYN (November. 5, 2017) – Undefeated heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder retained his WBC title in his sixth defense with a dominant first-round knockout of mandatory challenger Piala Emas dalam acara utama SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING Hari Sabtu night on SHOWTIME from Barclays Center, rumah BROOKLYN BOXING®.
Wilder (39-0, 38 KO) knocked Stiverne (25-3-1, 21 Biaya) to the ground three times before referee Arthur Mercante halted the bout at 2:59 dari babak pembukaan. The final blow came in the waning moments of the opening round as Wilder landed four clean punches to the face of a wobbly Stiverne.
“You have to give props to Stiverne for getting in the ring,” kata Wilder. “It takes a lot of courage and it takes a lot of pride to step in the ring with someone like me. We do what we have to do in the ring and at least he stepped up. He was a clean fighter.”
After the brutal knockout, an emotional Wilder was asked by SHOWTIME Sports®reporter Jim Gray about a possible fight with unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

The 28-year old Lipinets, who earned the title in just his 13th professional fight, was able to regain control in the later rounds to earn the unanimous win.
“I think the scorecards were accurate but it was a good fight,” said Lipinets. “The head-butt really impaired my vision and it led to me walking into some stupid shots.
“I’m happy with my performance. I’m just going to keep getting better from here. I’m ready to take any on challenge thrown my way.”
Kondo, who was fighting for the first time in the United States, proved a worthy opponent on the night. “It was a fair decision,” said Kondo, through a translater. “He hit me with a lot of hard punches and I felt like I needed at least a knockdown in the last round.
“I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to show any pain or fear from his punches. I was determined to keep fighting all night.”

UNTUK SEGERA: Portland, Maine (November 3, 2017) - Perkelahian New England (NEF) made its long-awaited debut in Portland, Maine pada hari Sabtu night before a sold-out crowd at Aura.

The crowd was on the edge of its collective seat for a thrilling three-round war that will be a definite “Pertarungan tahun” candidate for 2017. Gorman pulled off the unanimous decision on the judges’ Scorecard.

The ever-popular John “Kelas Satu” Sinar (3-8) returned to the NEF cage after a three-year retirement. Raio faced a game Zenon Herrera (0-6) and came out with the win in the third round when Herrera tapped out to a guillotine choke.

Terrance Jean-Jacques (3-0) became the new NEF Amateur Heavyweight Champion with a unanimous decision victory over defending champion Nick Gulliver (4-1). Hilarie Rose (5-3) made history as the first women’s champion in promotion history by capturing the strawweight title against Alex Walker (4-2).

Bailey turned 18 just eight days prior to the event. Carr is 56 years young.

In addition to an evening of fights, fans were able to meet special guest Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (24-5). Souza is currently the number-four ranked middleweight in the UFC.
