“I am glad to be working with Golden Boy Promotions, I feel that this is a great opportunity for me to be introduced to a larger boxing audience,” said Lopez. “I am excited to see what 2015 will bring being part of a world recognized promotional company.”

“I am happy to continue working with Golden Boy Promotions,” said Mario Arano, Lopez’s manager. “They are family and have always chosen the best fights for their fighters. They have done a great job with Lucas Matthysse and trust that they will do an excellent job bringing international acclaim and notoriety to Marcelino Lopez.”
