Edmonton, Canada (April 25, 2018) – Super Channel has announced the formation of a new live boxing series, SUPERBOX LIVE, debuting Saturday, Mulole 19, limodzi ndi KO Night Boxing LLC, from Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas,

 

 

 

Mayiko nkhonya Association (IBA) Americas flyweight champion Nico Hernandez (4-0, 3 Ko) chidzathandiza Szilveszter Kanalas (14-7, 9 Ko) for the vacant IBA World Flyweight Championship in the 12-round main event.

 

 

 

Wichita-native Hernandez captured a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic. Zaka ziwiri zapitazo, Kanalas became one of the youngest (17) world champions ever, when he defeated fellow Hungarian boxer, Jozsef Ajtai, for the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) Super Flyweight World Championship.

 

 

The card will also feature two heavyweight showdowns as rising Canadian star Oleksandr Teslenko (12-0, 10 Ko) faces an opponent to be determined on the televised broadcast, while Russian heavyweight prospect Andrey Afonin (5-0, 2 Ko) meets veteran Cuban fighter Pedro “El Reguilete” Rodriguez (23-4, 19 Ko).

 

 

 

Additional bouts will soon be announced for the televised portion of the May 19TH chochitika.

The 10-round main event between extremely aggressive junior welterweights O’Connor and Claggett figures to be a barn-burner from the opening bell to the end. Edmonton, Canada (February 24, 2018) – This afternoon in the semifinals round finale of the incredibly entertaining World nkhonya Super Series (WBSS) mpikisanowu, undefeated challengersCallum “dziko” Smith (23-0, 17 Ko), ndi World Council Maseŵera a nkhonya (WBC) Diamond champion, and late replacement Nieky “The Natural” Holzken (13-0, 10 Ko), square-off in the 12-round super middleweight bout, at Nurnberger Versicherung Arena in Nuremburg, Germany.
The Smith vs. Holzken card, kuyambira pa 2 p.m. AND, will air live in Canada, kuthera Super Channel.
Holzken, an undefeated Dutch prospect, replaced two-time world champion Juergen Braehmer, la Germany, who withdrew earlier this week from the WBSS semifinals match due to illness.

The 27-year-old Smith, fighting out of the United Kingdom, won a 12-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Erik Skoglund in the WBSS quarterfinals to capture the World Boxing Council (WBC) Diamond super middleweight title.
“I came here to book a place in the final,” Smith anati. “I have had a really good camp and I have improved on stuff from the last fight and people will see a better performance from me. People will see that I am good enough to win the tournament. I just want to win, win well, and look good doing it.
“I always knew from the start of the tournament that there was a massive opportunity that George (Mithunzi) would be waiting in the final. Koma, pakadali pano, I am fully focused on Nieky, and then I can talk more about Groves after the fight.”

The Smith-Holzken winner will advance to the WBSS super middleweight championship final against World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) Super Middleweight World Champion “Sir” George minda (28-3, Ko), of the United Kingdom, June 2at The O2 Arena in London, in a battle for the coveted Muhammad Ali Trophy.

Smith was the least tested WBSS semifinalist in terms of having faced quality opponents, as well as the youngest at 27. The undefeated Brit is one of four fighting Smith brothers.
Mu WBSS quarterfinals, Smith took a 12-round unanimous decision from previously unbeaten Erik Skoglund to capture the World Boxing Council (WBC) Diamond super middleweight title.
“I gave an interview last week and said it was great there have been no drop-outs,” Smith anati. “Looks like I spoke too soon. We got the call as we were boarding the plane. I am committed to fighting Loweruka and will fight whoever the World Boxing Super series puts in front of me.”
The 34-year-old Holzken was preparing to fight Dmitri Chudinov mu Loweruka a WBSS Super Middleweight Substitute Fight. He has had only four scheduled 10-round matches during his five-year professional career, the most notable being a win by 10-round unanimous decision in 2016 zoposa Farouk Daku (20-9-1) for the vacant BeNeLux super middleweight title.

two-time Ukrainian Olympian, who captured gold medals at the 2012 Olympics and 2011 World Championships, twice defeating current International Boxing Federation (IBF) Light Heavyweight World Champion Artur Beterbiev, the two-time Russian Olympian now based in Montreal.
“I am going to entertain the crowd at the Arena Riga,” Usyk said. “That I can promise! I have worked on some new thing and Loweruka you will see what I’m talking about.”

Edmonton, Canada (November 15, 2017) – Double-barrelled boxing action is on tap this week for Canadian boxing fans when Super Channel airs back-to-back Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) zochitika izi Friday night and Loweruka madzulo, live from separate venues in the United States.

Lachisanu action is headlined by a 10-round super middleweight clash between former World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Middleweight World Champion Anthony “Galuyo” Dirrell (30-1-1, 24 Ko), who will be fighting at home in Flint, Michigan, against the only active professional boxer trained by his mother, Denis “Momma’s Boy” Douglin (20-5, 13 Ko), fighting out of New Jersey. The action starts at 10:30 p.m. AND / 7:30 p.m. PT.
“Douglin has fought a lot of good fighters and I respect him, but he’s standing in the way of my title shot,” Dirrell said. “This is a chance for me to showcase my skills. I’m going for a stoppage, and I think I’m going to get it in the middle rounds. I want to put on a great performance and give the fans something to see. I’m going to get the job done.”
“I’ve taken a lot of fights on short notice and that’s hurt me in the past, but I’ve had ample time and a great training camp to prepare for this fight,” Douglin commented. “I think Dirrell has a problem with guys who aren’t afraid of him and who will actually give him a fight. With my style and determination, I’m going to bring a lot more than he’s expecting. I’m going to bring it for 10 rounds and I know I’ll have my arm raised at the end of the day.”
Two exciting matches are on the “Dirrell vs. Douglin” khadi, presented by Salita Promotions and TGB Promotion, will air in Canada exclusively on Super Channel.
The eight-round co-featured event is a rematch between two talented welterweight prospects,Jamontay “The Quiet” Clark (12-0, 7 Ko), wa Cincinnati, ndipo Chiyukireniya John “The Volk” Golub (13-1, 11 Ko), now fighting out of Brooklyn (NY). This fight will get me exactly where I need to be, closer to a world title shot.”

Ishe is a veteran and he is going to bring his ‘A’ game to try to prove he’s still got it. I’m not going to give him that opportunity.
